Hasbro has released some new promotional images for three of their 80th Anniversary Fan Channel single Marvel Legends releases. It seems unlike the main 80th Anniversary line, these figures will remain in a standard Legends box with the 80th Anniversary logo on top. The three figures are Big Time Spider-Man, Cowboy Logan and Agent Anti-Venom. These are all due to release sometime between now and the end of September 2019.

Hasbro have shared the official promotional images and details of their next Overwatch Ultimates 6 inch figures. These new single and two packs are due for an August 2019 release. In the single releases we have McCree who has swap out hands and his pistol. We get Zarya with alternative hands and weapon. And Junkrat with swap out hands, rifle and Rip-Tire. There will be two new 2-packs made up of Genji & Hanzo and Tracer & McCree. Genji will come with alternative hands and two swords, while Hanzo has alternative hands, bow, arrow and FX piece. In the other set we have a variant Tracer, also with swap out hands and pulse pistols. McCree, also a variant from the single releases, has hands and his pistol.

Check out this 8 inch Thanos figure from Avengers Endgame, licenced and produced for the Far East market. This is the first Thanos figure to be almost screen accurate and the various accessories and parts are a nice touch. There is even a stand into which you can stand his sword and magical FX clip on parts. While the quality and paint may not be to Legends level, this may be a good alternative for some collectors - particularly anyone who has skill in repainting their figures. Watch out for this to start showing up on eBay, it is already on AliExpress if you use that platform.

Following his iconic moment in the final battle scenes in Endgame, Hasbro released what they term the "Power and Glory" Captain America Marvel Legend figure as a Walmart US Exclusive. The figure included the updated Cap fish-scale armour as well as his Shield and of course Mjolnir. Packaging 5/5 Cap arrives in packaging that matches the Marvel Legend general releases for Endgame. The logo is simply the dark blue Avengers logo with no mention of Endgame, and the blue theme continues with the character name plate and the figure backing colour. The character is simply names as Captain America with no mention on the packaging of the Power & Glory sub title that is attached to this release. The side images are of an unmasked Cap and not necessarily the masked battle worn Cap that this figure represents. In fact the whole release is geared up to not give anything away from Endgame. This includes the fact Mjolnir is hidden behind the Shield - a good move by Hasbro had images of this figure leaked prior to people seeing the movie. Round the back is another image of an unmasked Cap with his shield overlaid to one side with a very short piece of text. "Steve Rogers prepares for the ultimate battle to save the universe and channels all of his strength as Captain America! Paint & Sculpt 5/5 On first look you'd be forgiven to think this is the same Cap as released for Infinity War or Civil War. In fact nearly all of the figure is brand new, only the legs beneath the thigh swivel are re-used from Infinity War Cap, with a repaint. The fish scales are nice across the chest and shoulder and the waist area is better proportioned than other Cap's to give him better overall proportions. The head sculpts are amazing, both new, but do watch out for a misalignment of the helmet over Cap's eyes - thank fully mine was OK. The unmasked head is a brilliant likeness and again is new and not a repack of the 10th Anniversary Cap. Both heads use face print technology. Paint is good throughout, but there is some glitches around the white and red of the midriff. You could argue that Cap should have been much dirtier and Hasbro have chosen not to go with this look on the figure - although weirdly they have for the Shield. Accessories 4/5 Cap comes with both his Shield and Mjolnir. Mjolnir is a repack from previous Thor figures. It is sadly cast with a defect - most likely in the mould - and that is present on all of them. It is a shame, but you can hid this via posing. Like the Thor releases the Hammer has a fixed loop grip that has to be posed correctly to ensure it looks realistic. The Hammer is designed to fit in Cap's right hand. The Shield is also a re-use from prior Cap figures. Like these previous figures it is a little bit too big. Unlike the figure, which is left clean, the Shield has been weathered and dirtied over the Red, Blue and Silver. This is good - but of course in reality this should have actually been a broken Shield - or at least Hasbro should have thrown a broken version into the box. The Shield is designed to fit on either arm, but the loops on the back are too tight to get it over the hands - the trick is to pop off the hands first and then slide the Shield over and then replace the hand. Articulation 5/5 Cap weighs in with a staggering 21 points of articulation making him supremely agile and pose-able. Head : ball joint pivot neck Body : torso T-Joint, Waist Swivel Arms : ball joint shoulder, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, pivot wrist Legs : ball joint hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, boot cut swivel, ankle rocker All the joints are tight and the figure stands well in a number of poses. You may have to free up the ankle joints with a bit of hot water. Cap also looks awesome dropped onto a flight/action stand. The only slight watch out on articulation are the two shoulder panels which are a flexible rubber. Rather than retract into the torso when the arms are raised, these seem to squash and then buckle and over time this is probably an area to watch for deterioration. Summary The Power & Glory Captain America is arguably the most desireablle figure of 2019 and has sold out at numerous UK retailers in record quick time. When you have the figure in hand this is no surprose as it excels in most areas with a great sculpt, likeness to Chris Evans, articulation and overall look. It is only slightly let down by the accessories with Mjolnir carrying a factory defect, and the Shield still being a tad too big and is whole and not broken as we see on screen. Power & Glory Cap is an awesome figure and a must have for any MCU collection, and what a great way to celebrate Chris Evan's final appearance as Cap I score the Power & Glory Captain America a 5 out of 5. Hasbro have released promotional images of their Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary MCU sets. These sets will apparently open for pre-order after SDCC 2019 (18th - 21st July) and will start to arrive in stock soon after. WW2 Captain America and Peggy Carter. There are indications this may be an Amazon exclusive and stocks incoming to UK are limited and will be imports rather than direct Hasbro UK stock (to be confirmed). Cap has two heads and the helmet is removable. You also have the choice of his original shield and the bare vibranium shield that Howard Stark provided. Hela and The Executioner. Hela comes with three head options and a brilliant extra handing holding Mjolnir. Skurge comes with his axe as well as Des and Troy. Louis and Ghost (Ant-Man & The Wasp). The images show Ghost comes with an unmasked head. We also have the shrunken suit case building for Louis to pull and an enlarged Ant. Infinity War Iron-Spider and Iron-Man. Another nice surprise to see an unmasked Peter Parker head packed in with this one. The Mk50 repulsors appear to be mounted on a clear stand that plugs into the figures back.

B&M stores are joining the likes of Game and Smyths and stocking the 7 inch Fortnite figures from McFarlane. The store I was in had Drift, Carbide, Omega and the Cuddle Team Leader. They were on sale on the toy aisle and on an aisle end dispenser. Price was same as Smyths and Game at £19.99 each. And while I am not a fan of the Funko Pop! phenomenon, those who are may want to check out B&M with a wealth of Pops in stock for £4.99

Announced via IGN is this Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Exclusive figure of Shredder from Rise of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This Shredder stands 6 inches tall and he will come in a shaped display box with an outer mailer for added protection. He will be sold for $30 at the Nickelodeon booth at SDCC 2019.

McFarlane have updated their site with more "coming soon" Fortnite figures in their 7 inch range. Now added to the listing are Dire, The Overtaker, Havoc and The Prisoner. Dire comes with a katana, hammer and assault rifle. Overtaker will include his wheel brace weapon as well as what looks to be a katana and rifle. Havoc also has his axe and a rifle. And the Prisoner has an axe and revolver. Also announced, although it was shown at Toy Fair 2019, is the Quadcrasher - a Deluxe Vehicle release.

The following image has been circulated online (via ToyNewsi, shared to them by King Ho). It shows a brand new Overwatch Ultimates figure from Hasbro in the shape of McCree. The image is from Hong Kong and other images shared at the same time also indicate new figures of Zarya, Hanzo Shimada and Junkrat Chacal. While some of these are single releases, there appears to be one new 2-pack in the mix somewhere. We await more details.

Bandai have announced they will be bringing a special 65th Anniversary Godzilla to San Diego Comic Con - and we assume other worldwide conventions. The 1954 Vinyly Godzilla is a recreation of the original appearance of Godzilla some 65 years ago, and stands 6.5 inches tall. He is packed in a special collectors box with an outer sleeve and inner display window. He will be sold at a price of $30 at the Toho / Bandai booth in San Diego. Quantities will be limited each day to allow all fans a chance to pick one up. Storm Collectibles have announced four new 1/12 Street Fighter figures that will be exclusive to San Diego Comic Con 2019. The line up is Cammy, Sagat, Guile and M.Bison. These are identical to the standard release, but have an alternative paint job for SDCC 2019. These will be on sale at the Storm Collectibles booth.

As seen at E3 2019, we now have the full promotional gallery and details for the Storm Collectibles Kait Diaz Gears of War 1/12 action figure. Kait will come with three head options - one normal, one hatted and one with a pair of Snow Goggles. There are alternative hand options and weapons include a Gnasher and a Talon Autopistol. She also comes with an Outsider/Locust Pendant. Pre-orders have already sold out direct from Storm. Watch out for imported items being offered by UK retailers including Toysarama and Comics and Cocktails. Prices is circa £60 and she is due in September 2019.
