Gamestop in the US will be carrying an exclusive 4-pack of Hasbro Overwatch Ultimates 6 inch figures come August 2019, with a release date of the 25th. The set is titled the Carbon Skins pack and includes Genji and Pharah in their Carbon Fibre skins as well as Zarya and D-Va in their midnight skins. There is also selection of accessories and weapons included. The US price on this is $79.99, and as yet there are no details on any UK availability. At Powercon in the US, the Super7 team have announced another huge 7 inch scale line of action figures in the shape of the 1982 movie Conan the Barbarian. Three figures were on display, as shared by Pixel Dan, and included Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger), Rexor (Ben Davidson) and Thorgrim (Sven-Ole Thorsen). In a follow up interview it seems that a fourth figure may be in the works - the other Ultimates 7 inch figures from Super7 are launching with 4 figures - and this may well be Thulsa Doom (James Earl Jones). The figures are going to come with appropriate weapons - and for Rexor and Thorgrim, alternative heads without their helmets.

The Super7 Ultimates 7 inch line will also include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle figures, as announced (but not shown) at Toy Fair 2019. The first wave of four figures was revealed at Powercon 2019 in Anaheim - images shared by Pixel Dan - and is made up of Raphael, Splinter, Baxter Stockman and a Foot Soldier. The figures are based on the original TMNT animated series and will come with appropriate weapons and accessories - including alternative heads for some characters like Raphael. This first wave is due for an October 2019 release followed by Wave 2 in March 2020 and waves every three months from them through to the end of 2020.

We checked out the Batcave today... no, not that one - but the Batcave in Blackburn who have recently moved premises to a new unit on Town Hall Street. We've updated our UK Directory for the new address. Today was their opening event with comic book artists in store, free comics and costumed characters. We dropped in to have a look round the new store which is a good mix of comics, collectibles old and new. For us as Action Figure fans there was a mix of McFarlane, NECA and Hasbro including some older items as well as new product like the Star Wars Black Series Archive. Funko Pops! were also well represented.

A number of e-tailers, including Pop Cultcha in Australia, have listed a brand new McFarlane 7 inch Fortnite figure of Peely for pre-order, with release scheduled for October/November 2019. Peely, from Season 8, arrives with Bamboo Back Bling , the Infinity Rifle and a Machete Harvesting Tool. He also includes the usual display base and comes in the window box packaging "From Season 8 comes with epic skin Peely, fully ripened and ready for battle! The ultra-articulated action figure features 22 points of articulation for plenty of emote posing options, and comes complete with a Fortnite branded display base, Bamboo Back Bling, Machete Harvesting Tool, and the Infinity Rifle to pick his enemies off one by one."

Took a trip to Smyths Toy Superstores to check out any new arrivals. While the big focus at the moment is Toy Story, and Fortnite has been pushed back a bit down the aisle, there was quite a bit of new Fortnite product including the new Jazwares 4 inch Squad Mode 4-Pak of Trog, Moisty Merman, Omen and Ravage. There were also new Turbo Builder Sets including the new one with Rabbit Raider and Vertex. Smyths are also now stocking the newer Jazwares 6 inch Legendary line for £19.99 each, with the whole of wave 1 on sale. #FortniteIRL The Fortnite 7 inch figures continue to see reductions with Cuddle Team Leader at £14.99 and Drift, Rex and Skull Trooper at £17.99. There were new figures on the shelf with Ragnarok and A.I.M. in stock for £19.99 Elsewhere it was great to see more Transformers Studio Series at Smyths, and they had the two Leader class figures of Grimlock and _ priced at £44.99. There was also an offer on Transformers with an automatic £5 off when you spent £20 or more. And Jurassic World fans can now get the new Mattel Indominus Rex which was on the shelf at £35.99

As we start the countdown to New York Comic Con (October) NECA have confirmed the first of their NYCC 2019 Exclusives, and as promised it is the next DC vs Aliens set, comprising of Batman vs a Joker inspired Alien Xenomorph. Batman is a new sculpt and comes with soft goods cape. The Alien uses what looks to be the new Alien Resurrection Xenomorph sculpt. The set will be sold at NYCC and most likely via the NECA online store for US collectors - although this needs confirmation. As per usual with NECA Convention exclusives, there is no availability outside of the US. "This action figure 2-pack is inspired by a classic comic book mash-up! In the 1997 Batman/Aliens comic book mini-series co-published by DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics. In it, #Batman faces strange new Aliens produced using DNA from some of Arkham Asylum’s deadliest inmates. The set includes two brand new, comic book based figures, both with over 30 points of articulation. Batman features a fabric cape, and the “Joker” Alien has a bendable tail. Window box packaging with embossed opening flap."

McFarlane and Amazon will be offering two Exclusive 7 inch scale Fortnite figures, both up for pre-order now for a release on the 6th of September. There is also a new Deluxe 11 inch figure releasing a week later on the 13th September. "Fortnite is the action building game from epic games that lets you drop into a massive 100-player PVP battle Royale or team up with friends in a co-op campaign to save the world against a horde of monsters. Craft and loot in giant worlds where no two games are ever The same. Fortnite battle Royale is free and available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, xbox one, switch, iOS, and Android." Up first is the Ice King, he will come with Ice Mantle Back Bling, Infinity Blade and Ice Septer. There will also be an 11 inch deluxe version of the Ice King which will include the Infinity Blade and a display base. At this stage the images for the Ice King look to be digital mockups. Joining the Ice King is Red Strike, the first 7 inch figure from Season X. Red Strike comes with Bladed Bag Back Bling, Suppressed Assault Rifle and the Red Streak Harvesting Tool.

Hasbro has announced Gamestop (US) will be selling an Exclusive Overwatch Ultimates figure of Lucio in her Bitrate skin. This is a repaint of the original wave 1 Lucio, and will come with the same in game accessories. The figure is in Gamestop stores now in the US. We would hope it gets a release via the worldwide Fan Channel into independent stockists outside of the US.

McFarlane have released more images for their next 7 inch scale Call of Duty action figure, Richtofen. Richtofen was announced at Toy Fair 2019 and will be released on the 20th September 2019, alongside Woods, with pre-orders being taken on Amazon US for Worldwide shipping.
