As we start the countdown to New York Comic Con (October) NECA have confirmed the first of their NYCC 2019 Exclusives, and as promised it is the next DC vs Aliens set, comprising of Batman vs a Joker inspired Alien Xenomorph.
Batman is a new sculpt and comes with soft goods cape. The Alien uses what looks to be the new Alien Resurrection Xenomorph sculpt.
The set will be sold at NYCC and most likely via the NECA online store for US collectors - although this needs confirmation. As per usual with NECA Convention exclusives, there is no availability outside of the US.
"This action figure 2-pack is inspired by a classic comic book mash-up! In the 1997 Batman/Aliens comic book mini-series co-published by DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics.
In it, #Batman faces strange new Aliens produced using DNA from some of Arkham Asylum’s deadliest inmates. The set includes two brand new, comic book based figures, both with over 30 points of articulation. Batman features a fabric cape, and the “Joker” Alien has a bendable tail.
