McFarlane have shared the full press release for their brand new DC Multiverse collectors line that launches January 2020. The figures are 7-inch in scale and have 22 points of articulation. The figures include a collectable card and display base. There is also a build-a-batmobile option with three of the figures. The batmobile will measure 7-inches long and is based on the Rebirth comic strip. It is great to see within the launch figures representation of the DC live action properties from with Arrow - and hopefully more to come. We also get a vehicle with the Bat Raptor, and 8 inch wide vehicle that can accomodate a McFarlane DC figure and that extends to a full 12-inch in length. Diamond Select have listed the proposed contents of Series 2 of their Castlevania figures from the Netflix animated show. The images are pending approval, but we get our first look at the three figure Villains wave of Dracula, Carmilla and Godbrand. Like Series 1, each figure has 16 points of articulation, swap out parts and character appropriate accessories. Series 2 is scheduled for a Summer 2020 release. We’ve seen the heroes, now meet the villains of Castlevania! From the hit Netflix animated series come three all-new action figures of Dracula and two of his generals, Carmilla and Godbrand! Each figure features up to 16 points of articulation as well as interchangeable parts and accessories. Each comes packaged in a full-color blister card. Designed by Eamon O’Donoghue, sculpted by Richard Force.

As we know, Mattel have lost the DC toy licence for action figures. The collectable 6-inch line is going to McFarlane, while the more kid friendly 4-inch line has gone to Spinmasters. Spinmasters have unveiled their first 4-inch DC figures, themed around Batman predominantly with an 8 figure line available as of January 2020. The figures will come blister carded, and each wave will include chase figures. In this wave you will be chasing down the Golden Batman Defender or the Metallic Robin. The other "feature" is that the accessories in the figures are blind bags, so you don't know what you are getting until you open the figure. The first wave includes Rebirth and Tactical Batman, Robin, The Joker, Nightwing and Man-Bat - as well as the chase figures mentioned. The US price on a full set of 8 is $64 from Entertainment Earth, with singles at $7.99 That puts these in the £8 - £10 per figure bracket here in the UK. Of course with a smaller line comes the opportunity of vehicles, and the Spinmaster line will launch with two. The first is a Batcycle, complete with figures of Batman and Clayface. The other is the Batmobile with a Batboat that can launch from the back of the vehicle - there is no figure included with this one. These are priced at $17.99 for the Batcycle and $19.99 for the Batmobile. A line of 12-inch figures and 2-inch blind bag figures are also incoming - definitely Supermarket Toy Aisle type figures we should see the likes of Tesco and Asda embrace here in the UK as well as Smyths and The Entertainer. The McFarlane Cyberpunk 2077 line is gaining a little more clarity as McFarlane update their website. In the 7-inch line we will have figures of V (male) which comes with a Katana, SMG and a pistol. There will then be two versions of Johnny Silverhand. The figures are essentially the same, but the first will come with his guitar, while the second swaps out the guitar for a duffel bag and pistol. We are also getting a 12-inch deluxe version of Johnny Silverhand. This is badged as a figure, but is more of a statue in a fixed pose as you will see below in the full press details. Diamond Select have released packaged images of their 7-inch Select Scale Castlevania figures who are due to ship in January 2020. The first releases are Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades and Alucard. Each comes in Select Blister packaging with a selection of weapons and alternative hand options. Dracula beware! Based on Netflix's Castlevania TV series this new action figure line bands together the three heroes who took on the Lord of Darkness - Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades and Alucard. Diamond Select Toys have shared packaged images of their Marvel Select 7-inch scale Hulk from Avengers Endgame. This is the general release of Hulk, not to be confused with the same figure being sold in Disney Stores with less accessories. The general release, due in early 2020, will include 3 sets of hands (the Disney set only has 2) and the Infinity Gauntlet which Hulk can wear as a swap out piece - the Gauntlet was not included with the Disney release. This version uses very similar packaging as the Disney release and is differentiated by this version being labelled as the Nano Gauntlet Hulk. You asked for it! This is the Disney Store Exclusive version - essentially the same figure as the general release coming in early 2020 but without the Infinity Gauntlet and with only one set of alternative hands included. NECA have shared images of the packaging for their 8-inch Pennywise figure from the 2017 movie. The figure, will include two sculpted head and articulated body. The clothing is tailored soft goods. Pennywise will of course come with his red balloon. Pennywise is due for release in early 2020. "It is the last #MonsterMonday of 2019 and of the decade! Mezco have announced a new One:12 Collective Popeye and Bluto 2-pack, titled "Stormy Seas Ahead" The set includes Popeye and Bluto in new outfits with the usual raft of alternative hands. Popeye has three head options - with three interchangeable hats - while Bluto has two heads and a fisherman hat. There are also character specific accessories such as spyglasses, compass, wrench, kettlebell... and of course tins of spinach.
