The Death Dealer is the latest figure to go up for pre-order in the Mezco One:12 Collective. Originally shown off during the Virtual SDCC week of 2020, Death Dealer is based off the Frank Frazetta painting of the same name. The figure features light up eyes, a removable cloak, interchangeable armour and belts. There are two helmet options as well as a multitude of weapon and a shield. There are two blood FX piece and two severed heads to help display your Death Dealer in all his gory glory. The usual selection of hands and One:12 display stand are also included. The figure is a Mezco exclusive, sold direct via their site. It comes with some additional extras including enamel pins and a silkscreen art print. This Vault Collection will set you back $150. There are global shipping options, and expect to be paying around £185 with shipping and tax. A deposit has to be paid in advance to secure the item, and this is non refundable. Checkout this newly revealed Exclusive Hasbro Power Rangers Lightning Collection Dino Thunder White Ranger. The figure has gone live on a number of UK retailers and is in stock ready for immediate despatch as of the 14th August 2020. Hasbro were confirmed as the new licensee for Ghostbusters in 2019, and would be the fourth major figure company to cover the line after NECA, Mattel and Diamond Select. The first wave of the Plasma Series was announced as the four Ghostbusters and figures of Dana Barrett and Gozer. Packaging 3.5 The Hasbro Ghostbusters are presented in a square box format with a spine down the left and the base of the window and the window then wrapping the top of the box and the right hand side. The design is that of the Ghostbusters uniform, both in colour but also with details like a zip visible and the name of the figure in the same style as the name tags of the Ghostbusters uniform. The left hand spine uses a generic, stylised, image of our four Ghostbusters against a red backdrop. There is no specific art for the figure in the box as we have seen on other lines like Marvel & Star Wars. The back of the box moves to a black finish with some hatching around the top. We have a short piece of background text under the character name. "The brains of the operation: Egon's your go-to guy for the best gear" Beneath this is a checklist of the figures in the wave and a picture of the Build-A-Ghost, Vinz Clortho, and confirmation of what parts come with which figure. It is noticeable that the window for the figure is quite loose and not tight fitting to the box. You can almost push your fingers in the sides and round the back. The reason for this is apparent when you open the figure and find the figure tray and the window are not attached to the box and slide out as one piece. Behind them is a very nice red and black card back featuring blue prints of the Ghostbusters Proton Packs and ECTO-1. Paint & Sculpt 3.5 Egon is always a character that suffers due to the issue with re-creating glasses at such a small scale. The Hasbro version goes someway to rectifying this with an exceptional sculpt likeness to Harold Ramis and some relatively well scaled glasses. The glasses are actually part of the sculpt and not glued to the face, that means thy can be done with slimmer rims and arms - but the trade off is an odd filled in piece at the side that is then left in flesh plastic so from the side it looks a bit odd. It is impressive that behind the rims, the eyes are fully sculpted and face printed. There is a secondary issue with the side on portrait for Egon, with what looks to be two chin lines sculpted all the way round. I am not sure what function this performs, it does seem to be on al the Egon figures from what I can see on other reviews and video images. The Ghostbusters uniform is shared between all four main figures and is cast in a single cream colour and is unpainted apart from the boots, gloves, elbow pads and the name plate which has been pretty neatly painted to read Spengler. A Ghostbusters decal has been neatly added to the right shoulder. The sculpt of the uniform is well done, with the appropriate pockets and pouches - but is far too clean. The real look of the Ghostbusters is wearing their Proton Packs, and there has been a good level of colour added to the packs. The strap is in a green colour and wraps the arms and waist. Egon's belt has arrived warped and sits bent upward once in place. This wasn't an issue with Winston so is likely individual depending on packing - it should straighten out over time or with hot water treatment (ask an adult). The pack itself is cast in black with red, blue and silver added to the various wiring and parts. Different GB's seem to have some variation in the Proton Pack colouring in terms of the lower circular Cyclotron - Egon's is painted red only in the top left panel, while Winston was painted only in the bottom right. The second belt, permanently attached to the figure, is an individual piece that will slide with some poses as needed. It is cast in an off white with painted black attachments. A yellow and a black pipe snake from the belt to plug into the legs. We have had other Egon Ghostbuster figures before from both Mattel and Diamond Select. Comparisons to both can be seen below. The Hasbro head sculpt and likeness trumps both of them and you can see how much better the glasses treatment is on the Hasbro vs the Mattel or the Diamond version with its misshapen thick rimmed efforts. The body shape is certainly more natural on the Hasbro version. Diamond still has better paint apps with the dirty uniform look. Accessories 3.0 Going back a step to the Proton Pack, this is an accessory as such as it arrives separate to the figure and can be taken on and off. There are no instructions included, but with some tinkering you find the strap at the bottom of the left hand side can be unclipped. The pack can then be strapped around the figure and the clasp slotted back into place. As mentioned above, the waist belt is warped on Egon and is likely dependent on how it was packed. The Plasma Beam thrower is permanently attached to the back pack via a flexible tube. This feels quite robust and not like the Diamond ones which snapped far too easily. You might find rather than snap that the lead pops out from the base of the Proton Back. The Beam Thrower slots into the hands with a bit of tweaking to stretch out the fingers a little and can be held one or two handed. When not in use there is a notch and socket function to slot the Beam Thrower into the side of the backpack. Again, this works much better than Diamond and does not stick out as much as the Mattel one that seemed to connect at an angle. While Winston came with the Proton Stream (which works really well) it is not included with Egon. This is very disappointing and a real miss by Hasbro in allowing us to line up our four Ghostbusters in firing mode. I think this will also mean we will see many Winstons in the wild with this piece removed - stolen in store, or bought and returned with the part taken out. I do hope Hasbro will rectify this mistake soon... Egon has a PKE meter as a second accessory. This is a neat piece in the right scale and cast in a dark grey plastic. It does suffer from the arms of the meter not being even as we see on the prop, the right arm is pointing up while the left is down. Having looked at other reviews, this is not a consistent issue and again could be resolved with some heat application. It has a single green paint app for the screen and no other colouration added. The bottom of the PKE meter flares out and includes a small peg which can be used to attach the PKE meter to the belt by plugging it into a hole on the right hand side. All Ghostbusters have this hole, so you can share the meter amongst them if you wish. It will fit into either hand, but the shape is hard to slot in directly and you will find the need to stretch and tease the fingers to get a grip around the PKE meter handle. Articulation 4.0 Egon has a total of 20 points of articulation, mirroring more or less the joints we get on Marvel Legends, and the newer Star Wars Black Series figures. Head : ball joint neck Body : ball joint waist Arms : ball joint shoulder, butterfly shoulder, bicep swivel, double joint elbows, wrist pivot Legs : ball joint hips, thigh swivel, double joint knees, ankle rocker The inclusion of the butterfly shoulder while subtle, adds a wider range of movement for posing with the equipment - supported by double joint elbows. The bicep swivel does have to be engaged with some poses and that will throw the cut of the sleeve. The waist ball joint is not as mobile a it could be, but allows you to lean Egon's torso back or forth as the pose requires. The legs will kneel, just about, and crouch and can also take wider stances for firing and action posing. All the joints are secure and tightly ratcheted and Winston stands fine on his own. Summary Egon is a fantastic looking figure, from the front. If you display his head side on then there are issues with that second chin line and the way the side of the glasses are filled in. The Uniform is a bit too clean and would benefit with a wash to bring out more detail. I do like the box, ut it could do with being more robust in terms of that loose window configuration and with the detail for the character on the reverse which is very very basic. Egon arrived in my possession with a couple of quality flaws including a warped belt for the Proton Pack and a warped PKE meter - I can however live with these and resolve them with a bit of work. What is not acceptable is not including the Proton Stream as was included solely with Winston. To have four Ghostbusters and only one Proton Stream for display is not a good place t be and for me an oversight by Hasbro they need to consider fixing - and I hope that this is not just done by revising the next production run as that will further infuriate the collectors who have supported this line early. NECA have released promotional images of the final packaging for their Toony Classics Back to the Future figures coming later this month. Marty McFly, Biff Tannen and Doc Brown with Einstein will follow the same styling and articulation as the 6 inch Toony Terror line. The figures are articulated and include appropriate accessories such as Marty's hoverboard. They are designed on the visuals from the 1990's animated series. Star Wars Black Series Wave 25 arrived in Summer 2020 and was predominantly based around Episode II : Attack of the Clones. It brought us four new Jedi in the shape of Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Bolstering the Separatist forces with a re-pack of Count Dooku from Wave 24 and a new Geonosis Battle Droid. Packaging 3.5 Wave 25 arrives in the Phase 3 packaging, and is the last wave to feature the black box with red spine and cardback as the Black Series moves to a 4th Phase in the 2nd Half of 2020 with the Galaxy collection packaging split by movie. Obi-Wan is number 111 in the 3rd Phase packaging, with the numbering featured on the side spine and reverse of the box. The figure is specifically sub-titled as Jedi Knight rather than as Attack of the Clones and this now means we have a figure of Obi-Wan through his Star Wars journey from Padawan through Knight, General, Master, Exiled Obi-Wan from A New Hope and finally Force Ghost. The packaging carries the usual Gregory Titus artwork on both front and back. While OK, I don't think the illustration is a fantastic likeness to Ewan McGregor, there is something off about the piece. Alongside the illustration on the box reverse is a short piece of text with a very loose overview of Obi-Wan at this time. "Obi-Wan Kenobi became a general in the Army of the Republic as the Clone Wars continued, having many adventures with Anakin Skywalker" Paint & Sculpt 3.5 Obi-Wan has a new head sculpt, representing his look in Attack of the Clones with the longer hairstyle and full beard. It is one of those heads that looks absolutely stunning from one angle and then somewhat "off" from the other side. There is something about the eyes that is not quite right, they are too narrow and the face print tech just can't get the detail. Some early stock of this figure had a lighter hair colouring, which also didn't help - our review version is the 2nd revision with a darker wash on the hair sculpt. Obi-Wan is wearing the usual Jedi robes with various layers painted in differing colours from a white undershirt to the tan outer robes. These robes are cast in the base colour with only the white painted and the belt - which is pretty detailed with a brown leather base as well as silver, black and gold elements added. Like the robes, the trousers are cast in the base colour of cream and the boots are then painted in a single red/brown with black to then trim the soles. Like the hair, these boots were different on the first stock released and were sent out in a less accurate dark brown. There is no attempt for weathering or washes on the figure, so it looks a bit too clean. There is also no inclusion of outer soft goods robes as seen with Mace Windu and the older A New Hope Obi-Wan. Thankfully, if robed Jedi are your thing there are plenty of secondary market sellers to enhance your figure with the relevant robes - although it remains baffling why Hasbro include them with some Jedi figures, and not others? The body is a full re-use from the 2019 Padawan Obi-Wan figure, with changes in colour as appropriate. You can see in this comparison that Padawan Kenobi retains the better likeness and how that eye shape is perhaps not quite as well replicated on the new version. Accessories 2.5 Obi-Wan has his lightsaber as a single accessory. Like all sabers this can be taken apart so you can display with or without the blade. Like a lot of recent sabers, the piece that connects the blade into the hilt is very flimsy and the saber is warped/bent out of the packaging and it is not easy to bend back into shape without risking the piece snapping completely. The hilt is well executed with a silver base and black and red details. It fits into either hand - or both - and the hilt can also use a small plug on the side to slot into a corresponding socket on the belt. It is the same hilt as was used in the Padawan set, but the blade on the 2020 Obi-Wan is a touch shorter and a touch lighter. Articulation 4.5 Obi-Wan has the 19 points of articulation for a Black Series human character including the new two joint neck articulation, where the neck is articulated at both top and bottom - removing the unsightly pivot. The arms also get the butterfly shoulder joint which makes a big difference for posing, particularly two handed saber grips. Head : ball joint neck base, ball joint neck top Body : ball joint torso Arms : ball joint shoulder, butterfly shoulder joint, single rotating elbow, pivot wrist Legs : ball joint hips, thigh split, double jointed knee, ankle rocker The only real restrictions are at the shoulders where the robes do extend a little and stop the shoulders going all the way up. While there are no longer soft goods on the robes they are flexible enough to facilitate seated poses as well as kneeling and crouching - although these type of poses are not the most visually pleasing as you can see below. It is Obi-Wan's saber poses that are most impressive ranging from two handed poses to attack positions and overhead strikes. These are all enabled by the butterfly joints at the shoulder, making a huge difference to the possibility. Most of the joints on Obi-Wan are tight and secure with satisfying ratchets in the majority of them. There is some looseness in the hips, which may be an issue in the future. At this stage, he has no problem standing. Summary It is great to see Episode II receiving some focus and new versions of Obi-Wan are always good, with this one pretty much completing the set from each of his movie appearances - although there are a couple that could now do with revisiting. This is not the best head sculpt, but is streets ahead of what we were getting just 2-3 years ago and it is an indication of how far the line has come when I am criticising a figure that does look just like Ewan McGregor from a couple of angles. The body/outfit is a re-use, but this is fine - particularly with the articulation being so good - and the only gripe remains the lack of some outer soft goods Jedi robes. Hasbro do need to be careful with the newer sabers which are all arriving warped and with a very fragile plug. When I first started doing Action Figure Reviews - some 5 years ago - I went with a rating system out of 5. Over time this has remained consistent across all reviews. In the last couple of years my reviews have broken down figures into Packaging, Sculpt & Paint, Accessories and Articulation with each of these given a rating out of 5 also that then contribute to the overall score. What has become evident recently is that the margins between a bad, average and good figure are becoming even slimmer and I find myself scoring two figures at say a 4 out of 5 when one is superior in a number of areas. The answer is of course a change in the rating process, and my first thought was moving to a scale out of 10. The issue here is how does a 7/10 figure now compare to a 3/5 figure? With 500+ reviews complete I do want to preserve the ability to compare. So here we are and the answer is to follow the 5 star rating laid out by the likes of Amazon and Trustpilot and to allow half marks. This is still kind of an "out of 10" rating, but allows comparison to previous reviews with only a minor margin or error. As of today, any new reviews will be scored using this new process.... The Loyal Subjects, a Los Angeles based company, are looking to shake up the Action Figure Collectors scene with a new line of 5 inch scaled pop culture figures from various licences including Big Trouble in Little China, Lord of the Rings and from bands like Guns n Roses, Kiss and AC-DC. This first look has been provided by Games and Comics in Italy who have listed the full line. The figures will be titled BST AXN and will have circa 22 points of articulation. Appropriate accessories will be included and they will be packed in a window box with hanging tab. The first lot, as detailed below, is scheduled for release in late December 2020. The prices are not fully confirmed for retail, but they look on or under the £20 mark. It is worth noting some of the images remain digital mockups. New series of action figures created by The Loyal Subjects dedicated to the most iconic characters of the POP culture scene. Each figure has 22 points of articulation, with accessories and interchangeable parts, about 13cm high. Mint in its original sealed package. The movie figures are made up of Gandalf (Lord of the Rings), Lightning (Big Trouble in Little China) and Napoleon Dynamite from the 2004 movie of the same name. I have also found some other listings for a Sauron from Lord of the Rings and Edward Scissorhands - but with no images. The music figures are made up of Slash from GNR, Angus from AC-DC and The Demon from KISS. There are also Anime Characters from Cowboy Bebop, Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist. After years of producing GI Joe figures in the iconic 3.75 inch scale, Hasbro launched the Classified Collection in 2020 - a new line of 6 inch collector scale figures from the GI Joe franchise. The first wave hit stores in Summer 2020 with 5 figures in total - Duke, Snake Eyes, Destro, Roadblock and Scarlet. Packaging 4/5 The GI Joe Classified packaging follows the window box design that Hasbro use for the rest of their collector focused lines. The colours on the box are specific to the faction with GI Joe characters in blue and Cobra in red. The bottom rail of the box front carries the GI Joe logo and the character name. Above this and wrapping the right hand spine is character specific artwork, in the case of Destro this is a red, black and silver stylised image by Oliver Barrett. The other spine carries the numbering for the line - Destro being number 03. This left hand spine is part of the window with the coloured design with the numbering being part of the cardback piece behind the clear plastic of the window. The back of the box features a montage of GI Joe characters and the usual legal and safety text. What is a shame is the lack of any background info on the box for each character. The old cut out Command Files (Stat Cards) were a staple of the classic GI Joe line and a modern equivalent would have finished off the box nicely. The box opens via the top flap and the figure slides out wrapped on the back and side by the backing card. For Destro this is in a red design with Cobra logo. The figure sits into a plastic tray surrounded by weaponry. There are no twist ties, the shape of the inner tray keeps Destro and his weapons in place. Paint & Sculpt 4/5 Hasbro have kept the look of their 6 inch Destro pretty accurate to the original 1980's villain. The head is well sculpted and then cast in a very bright reflective silver with a clear face. The head sits on a flesh coloured chest piece which is framed by Destro's chain and red stone. This necklace is an individual piece and can ride up around the head - but is not quite big enough to remove over the head. The costume starts with the iconic red flared collar, mimicking the Cobra logo. Destro is then wearing a black combat suit, complete with armoured panels around the shoulders, chest, wrists and knees. The suit is cast in black gloss with gunmetal dull grey used on the armour. Red is used on the right wrist where Destro is equipped with wrist rockets. Red is also used on the belt and holster. Like the necklace this is an individual piece that moves with the articulation. The belt is silver with three re panels - and these are not painted all to well with bleed of the silver into the red. A red holter then attaches down to the right thigh. This is plain red and while it has sculpted details, none of the details have been painted. The GI Joe Classified line is a 6 inch collectors line from Hasbro. It comes in at a larger scale to the Star Wars Black series, and is comparable to Marvel Legends at roughly 6.5 inches for human male characters. Accessories 5/5 Destro is armed with two weapons. The first is a scoped handgun with very good level of detail in the sculpt and with paint apps added in red down the barrel and on the side. It slots into either hand, both hands coming with a trigger finger. The hands are quite stiff and take some teasing to get the weapon posed in place. When the gun is not in use it slides into the working holster. The second weapon is a smaller golden handgun, more bling for Destro. This carries quite a bit of crisp detail too despite the size, and is painted in bright gold. Again, it fits into either hand. Cleverly, this fits into the same holster - albeit not at the same time as the other weapon. Destro's third accessory is a briefcase. This is well detailed also with an embossed Cobra logo on the front and back - the front being painted in red. The case opens to reveal bundles of cash in the upper part - green US dollars with yellow note wrappers. The other part of the case contain a computer with keyboard, screen and another Cobra logo. There still remains enough space in between the two for the smaller gun or other accessories that may come out in the future. The briefcase also fits into either hand, with some teasing. It is worth covering at this point that like all GI Joe figures, Destro has the peg hole in his middle back but comes with no accessories that fit into it. It looks like Hasbro will be going down the same route as the original figures with this, with a universal peg size so other accessories and weapons can be worn by all figures. The hole on Destro can be used for example to carry Snake Eyes backpack or to mount a weapon with a corresponding peg. Articulation 4/5 Destro has a total of 21 points of articulation in total. On par with Marvel Legends and making Destro extremely poseable. Head : neck ball joint Body : T-joint chest pivot, waist swivel Arms : ball joint shoulder, butterfly shoulder, bicep swivel, double joint elbows, wrist pivot Legs : ball joint hips, thigh swivel, double joint knees, ankle rocker The neck doesn't get the double joint on both ends, but the head still works fine in the confines of the costume collar. The arms are fully poseable, supported with the butterfly shoulders so that a number of weapons poses are possible, including two handed grips. Destro's legs allow kneeling and sitting, with the holster and belt moving in conjunction with the joints rather than restricting them. Destro does suffer a little with loose joints, the same as Snake Eyes and similar to issues we get with Marvel Legends on ratcheted joints. The torso is one area of looseness, as are the hips which do see Destro sliding over in some poses. Arms and lower legs are - on the contrary - secure and stiff and if you pose him right to keep the hips in check then Destro stands perfectly on his own - with or without the case or weapons. Summary Destro is very much a figure that is sympathetic to his original looks, with some modern tweaks rather than a full overhaul. This means he scored highly on the nostalgia radar. He is also a wonderful figure with a great sculpt, good articulation - ignoring the loose hips and chest - and good accessories that fit the character perfectly and that work really well. Destro has also sold me on the box design, having now seen the two versions with contrasting red and blue depending on the faction. The lack of any detail on the reverse is the only disappointment and the addition of a stat card or character background would finish it off perfectly. With only a handful of flaws, I score Destro a 4 out of 5. Hasbro were confirmed as the new licensee for Ghostbusters in 2019, and would be the fourth major figure company to cover the line after NECA, Mattel and Diamond Select. The first wave of the Plasma Series was announced as the four Ghostbusters and figures of Dana Barrett and Gozer. Packaging 3/5 The Hasbro Ghostbusters are presented in a square box format with a spine down the left and the base of the window and the window then wrapping the top of the box and the right hand side. The design is that of the Ghostbusters uniform, both in colour but also with details like a zip visible and the name of the figure in the same style as the name tags of the Ghostbusters uniform. The left hand spine uses a generic, stylised, image of our four Ghostbusters against a red backdrop. There is no specific art for the figure in the box as we have seen on other lines like Marvel & Star Wars. The back of the box moves to a black finish with some hatching around the top. We have a short piece of background text under the character name. "The voice of reason: Winston's the one you want in your corner when times get tough" Beneath this is a checklist of the figures in the wave and a picture of the Build-A-Ghost, Vinz Clortho, and confirmation of what parts come with which figure. It is noticeable that the window for the figure is quite loose and not tight fitting to the box. You can almost push your fingers in the sides and round the back. The reason for this is apparent when you open the figure and find the figure tray and the window are not attached to the box and slide out as one piece. Behind them is a very nice red and black card back featuring blue prints of the Ghostbusters Proton Packs and ECTO-1. Paint & Sculpt 3/5 Winston is sculpted in a slightly odd half smiling face sculpt, but it is a good likeness to Ernie Hudson and this is enhanced by the face print tech used to add realism to the eyes and appropriate shading around the eyes, nose and mouth - as well as adding more natural facial hair than the usual hand painted efforts. The Ghostbusters uniform is cast in a single cream colour and is unpainted apart from the boots, gloves, elbow pads and the name plate which has been pretty neatly painted to read Zeddemore. A Ghostbusters decal has been neatly added to the right shoulder. The sculpt of the uniform is well done, with the appropriate pockets and pouches - but is far too clean. The real look of the Ghostbusters is wearing their Proton Packs, and there has been a good level of colour added to the packs. The strap is in a green colour and wraps the arms and waist. The pack itself is cast in black with red, blue and silver added to the various wiring and parts. The second belt, permanently attached to the figure, is an individual piece that will slide with some poses as needed. It is cast in an off white with painted black attachments. A yellow and a black pipe snake from the belt to plug into the legs. As the body, belt and Proton Pack look to be the same on all four Ghostbusters you are left with a round hole slot on the right side of the belt which is of no use for Winston as he comes with no accessory to attach there. Equipment from the other GB's, like Egon's PKE meter, will fit in this slot if you want to mix and match. We have had other Winston Ghostbuster figures before from both Mattel and Diamond Select. Comparisons to both can be seen below. The Hasbro head sculpt and likeness trumps both of them and the body shape is certainly more natural on the Hasbro version. Diamond still has better paint apps with the dirty uniform look. Accessories 4/5 Jumping back a little to the Proton Pack, this is an accessory as such as it arrives separate to the figure and can be taken on and off. There are no instructions included, but with some tinkering you find the strap at the bottom of the left hand side can be unclipped. The pack can then be strapped around the figure and the clasp slotted back into place. The Plasma Beam thrower is permanently attached to the back pack via a flexible tube. This feels quite robust and not like the Diamond ones which snapped far too easily. You might find rather than snap that the lead pops out from the base of the Proton Back. The Beam Thrower slots into the hands with a bit of tweaking to stretch out the fingers a little and can be held one or two handed. When not in use there is a notch and socket function to slot the Beam Thrower into the side of the backpack. Again, this works much better than Diamond and does not stick out as much as the Mattel one that seemed to connect at an angle. Winston also comes with a Proton Stream that is cast in a an orange translucent plastic, wrapped with blue translucent lightning type effects. At the base of the stress is a hollow tube that slots over the Beam Thrower to create the firing effect. The look is pretty impressive, although it might have benefitted from being a bit longer. It is light enough so not to overbalance the figure. And by wrapping the end of the Beam Thrower, and not slotting into it, it remains straight. Articulation 4/5 Winston has a total of 20 points of articulation, mirroring more or less the joints we get on Marvel Legends, and the newer Star Wars Black Series figures. Head : ball joint neck Body : ball joint waist Arms : ball joint shoulder, butterfly shoulder, bicep swivel, double joint elbows, wrist pivot Legs : ball joint hips, thigh swivel, double joint knees, ankle rocker The inclusion of the butterfly shoulder while subtle, adds a wider range of movement for posing with the equipment - supported by double joint elbows. The bicep swivel does have to be engaged with some poses and that will throw the cut of the sleeve. The waist ball joint is not as mobile a it could be, but allows you to lean Winston's torso back or forth as the pose requires. The legs will kneel, just about, and crouch and can also take wider stances for firing and action posing. All the joints are secure and tightly ratcheted and Winston stands fine on his own. Summary I think out of all the Winston figures I've owned from Mattel and Diamond, Hasbro probably beats them on most counts. The head is a better likeness and the photo real printing enhances that fully. The body is shared with the other GB's, but that happened with Mattel and Diamond two and the only criticism of the body is a lack of wash or detailing to bring out more depth. Articulation is sufficient to do the posing you would want to do, and all the joints are tight and secure. The accessories are well designed and I do like the Proton Stream effects - and it is the inclusion of that piece that splits the difference for me on scoring and I would score Winston a 4 out of 5. Judith Hoag, who played April O'Neil in the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie, teamed up with NECA on Turtle Tuesday to announce that an April O'Neil 1990 movie figure is now in the works. Judith will follow the development of her figure via her social media feeds, specifically her Youtube channel, as it is brought to life by the NECA team. The indicators are that the figure will then be processed like Tokka and Rahzar with a pre-sale period and then the figure will be produced based on these pre-order numbers.
