There is another batch of collector focused items turning up in B&M Stores with the arrival of these Hero Collector Marvel Museum mini-props. These are priced at £19.99 which doesnt represent a huge saving on the prices seen elsewhere that do range from £20-£35 depending where you look. The B&M I went to had four items from the line- the Captain Carter Shield, Infinity Gauntlet, Mjolnir and Iron-Man MkVII helmet. The rear of the box also showed a Black Panther helmet, and I understand there is a Captain America Shield also. The Marvel Legends US Agent figure was a 2021 release and part of the first Disney+ MCU wave which included figures from WandaVision, The Falco and the Winter Soldier, and Loki. The US Agent uses the same body as the John Walker Captain America figure released around the same time, although the US Agent doesn't come with the unmasked head. The figure looks OK, but suffers from a common issue with early release MCU figures in that it is not fully screen accurate due to it being based on early concepts or artwork. In this case, the US Agent is missing the white stripes on the outfit. The other issue is the accessories for John Walker and while it makes sense to omit the shield, a handgun would have been a good added extra alongside the alternative hands. The Jedha Patrol Stormtrooper, as seen in Rogue One, was released in the UK in Spring 2022. It used the newer Stormtrooper body with the addition of a shoulder pauldron and the Patrol Backpack complete with its extensive aerial. The Stormtrooper is armed with a DLT-19 Heavy Blaster. The new body looks crisp and the articulation is much improved on the older 2013 body. The Stormtrooper Jedha Patrol variant is a fantastic addition to the Imperial Troop rank and also expands the Rogue One Galaxy Collection, number 09 in the line. McFarlane has put six of their new DC Multiverse 7-inch figures up for pre-order ahead of Spring 2023 release. There are four standard releases with The Joker from Infinite Frontier, Batman from Hush, Knightfall Catwoman, and Mr. Freeze. There are then two Gold Label releases of Batman from DC vs Vampires, and Eradicator from Shockwave. These are exclusive to Walmart in the US but should get a wider general release here in the UK via Bandai (UK Distributor). I have visited a couple of B&M's over the last couple of days trying my luck in finding the £12.99 Warhammer 40k figures from McFarlane. I have struck out so far but I understand that the figures include the Dark Angels Marine, Black Chaos Marine, Raven Guard, Ultramarines Reiver, and the Genestealer - as well as Artists Proof for each of these. I did find the Ork Megafigs at £19.99 with both Big Nobz and the Mek as well as the Artist Proof. There are also plenty of McFarlane DC figures in the stores, also priced at £12.99 these include the Suicide Squad figures and BAF, as well as the Batman Horse BAF wave. The Doctor Who figures, as we confirmed last week, are now seeing reductions on the 8th, 9th, and 10th Doctor sets. The 13th Doctor remains £21.99 and there I saw no sign or labels for the Dalek or TARDIS sets. We are also seeing reductions on the Big Chief Studios Doctor Who items with the Bobble Head Daleks down to £8 a set and the Dynamix Vinyl Who figures at £12.99. Other items of note include a variety of Beast Kingdom Marvel figures. These included Black Widow, (£29.99) Captain America, Spider-Man and Tony Stark (£39.99. There were also stocks of the BST AXN Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at £14.99 - although the stores I visited only had Michelangelo. I took a New Year's Eve trip to Smyths Toys and was surprised to see how large their McFarlane offering is now getting. As well as the Avatar: Way of Water figures there was a full section dedicated predominantly to McFarlane DC Multiverse including Gold Label Superman and the new Black Adam movie figure with throne for £19.99. The DC Super Powers had two full shelves with Batman and Superman priced at £10 each. You could also get the smaller-scale Page Punchers for £6.00 Snook into one corner they also had the new Gold Label Chaos Space Marine from Warhammer 40k as well as the Traitor Guard - both £24.99 I also popped my head into Home Bargains and found the 6-inch League of Legends figures for £2.99 each as well as the smaller 4-inch figures in a 5-pack for just £6.99. I also noticed the Jazwares AEW figures at £9.99 which is of course half the usual RRP. B&M are starting to reduce the 2022 Doctor Who sets with the 8th Doctor, 9th Doctor and 10th Doctor sets all now down by a fiver to £16.99 These are still available online for this price with a £3.95 delivery charge - and labels are going out in stores although the one I was in today had the label but no stock. There are no reductions as yet on the 13th Doctor Set or any of the Dalek sets, although there are not many of these left now. McFarlane's DC Multiverse continues to grow, particularly with new Megafigs. The newest reveal is Kalibak from The Darkseid War. More details are to follow, but Kalibak will be a 2023 release. The final Star Wars Bring Home the Galaxy reveals included two new additions for the Star Wars Black Series 6-inch line. The Gamorrean Guard will be repacked onto the Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary Vintage card back and will be exclusive to Target in the US - it is e a Fan Channel release here in the UK. Hasbro will then complete the Republic Commando videogame Delta Squad with the release of the Gaming Greats RC-1262 / Scorch as a Gamestop Exclusive.
