The Star Wars Black Series Pre Vizsla figure from The Clone Wars was announced as a pipeline figure back at Star Wars Celebration. The figure has now been unveiled at SDCC 2023 at the Hasbro Preview Event followed by a formal press release from Hasbro with a full gallery of images. Vizsla will come with jet pack, twin blasters, removable helmet, and the Darksaber. The figure is live for pre-order as of the 22nd July 2023 and will be a general release. Hasbro have shared a full press pack after Day 1 of SDCC 2023 and it included this more extensive gallery for the previously announced SDCC 2023 Exclusive Set of Deadpool & Bob, Agent of Hydra. The images give us a full look at the raft of accessories included with two heads for Deadpool, alternative hands, weapons, effect pieces, and Agent Bob's Hydra briefcase. The next pair of Lord of the Rings figures from Diamond Select will be Samwise Gamgee and Saruman the White. Diamond have released some new imagery for this duo via Preternia. Samwise will come with his elven cloak - something that was dropped from the Frodo release - and a number of other accessories, although it is not confirmed what. Saruman has his Staff and Palantir and also features what they are listing as "interchangeable sleeves" which will hopefully alleviate the posing issues we have seen on Gandalf and the Ring Wraith with the long draping sleeves. McFarlane have released the details of three new DC Multiverse figures coming later this Summer. The first is the classic Riddler as previewed earlier in July. The Riddler is a general release and will come with his cane, four pair of hands, and the usual collector card and stand. Riddler is a September 2023 release. Up next is a Gold Label Exclusive release of Catman from Villians United. Catman features a soft goods cape, alternative hands, claw hands, and a pair of knives. Catman also comes with the usual base and display stand and is an August 2023 release. He is exclusive in the US to the McFarlane Store and should have a UK release via general stockists courtesy of the Bandai UK distribution. The final figure is a Gold Label variant of the Superboy-Prime figure from Infinite Crisis. This 'Patina Edition' features a bronzed paint job giving Superboy a statue effect. This is another McFarane Store Exclusive and it comes in the closed box collector packaging and includes stands for the figure and the included art card. The set is an August 2023 release and is limited to 4010 units. It is unclear if this will make its way to UK collectors. Ultimately, Superboy-Prime was defeated and imprisoned in the Source Wall, the barrier that surrounds the universe, only to break free when it was destroyed years later.
