Hasbro's G.I. Joe Panel had a raft of new Classified Series reveals starting with the confirmation of three new releases which will be going up for pre-order immediately. These include the previously announced Steel Corp Troopers, and the H.I.S.S. Fire Team 788 sets. They are joined by a Deluxe release of Tripwire. The team then moved on to future figure releases incoming of Buzzer, Shockwave, Helix, Hawk, and Ripper. There will be another Cobra 3-pack with a Crimson Strike team including Baroness, Xanot, and Tomax in their Crimson Strike gear. The exclusive releases will include a Python Patrol Copperhead and Cobra Officer. There were some digital render previews of the upcoming deluxe release of SMS & Techno Viper and another 6-inch scale vehicle release with a VAMP and Clutch figure. Following suit with Star Wars, The G.I. Joe team also provided some 'pipeline' reveals confirming they are working on Jinx, Torch, Retro Duke & Retro Scarlet. And the surprises didn't end there, as back at the booth the Hasbro team had the new Junkyard and Mutt pack - with Mutt featuring alternative head options. The Hasbro Marvel Legends panel at SDCC 2023 revisited a number of the more recent announcements in the line and then kicked into the new reveals. The Deluxe Detroit Steel is a Hasbro Pulse-Con Exclusive later this year and is based on the MCU Iron Monger figure. Detroit Steel will go up for pre-order in September time frame, maybe just ahead or if not, during, Pulse-Con. The Disney+ Wave is confirmed officially to include the already announced Secret Invasion Figures of Nick Fury and Talos, Agatha Harkness from WandaVision, Yelena Belova and Kingping from Hawkeye, and Warrior Gamora and Goliath from What If? The Build-a-figure is a new version of the Hydra Stomper from What If? complete with Steve Rogers's unmasked head. The Next Spider-Man Animated Series VHS set will be Peter Parker and Alistair Smythe. We have a Marvel Knights & Midnight Suns wave incoming including Iron-Man, Daredevil, Lady Bullseye, Fist Ninja, Luke Cage Power Man, Clea, and Blade. The Build-a-figure will be the Mindless One. Moving back to the MCU and the Infinity Saga line will be extended with new figures of Iron-Man Mk2 from Iron-Man (2008), Black Widow from Captain America; The Winter Soldier, and Bruce Banner from Avengers; Infinity War. The panel concluded with a number of individual figures including Crystar, Squadron Supreme Power Princess, and a New Warriors Vance Astro. The final full reveal was another Avengers 60th Anniversary release - the comic book Yellow & Green Vision. As per usual the team ended with a couple of teases. The SDCC 2023 Hasbro Star Wars Panel revealed the first three figures based on the Disney+ Ahsoka series. Arriving in Autumn 2023 are new figures of Ahsoka Tano, General Hera Syndulla, and Sabine Wren, The Ahsoka Black Series releases will also include a new FX Force Elite roleplay lightsaber which is an Autumn 2024 release. While we are sure Ahsoka Tano will be #01 in the Ahsoka series, it doesn't appear as though Hera and Sabine run concurrently as number #02 and #03. The side artwork does appear to show other Ahsoka figures in the interim. The other reveal of the panel is the new R2-D2 figure which gets a release in the Black Series Galaxy Collection packaging within The Mandalorian collection. This is the same figure as the Return of the Jedi 40th Anniversary carded release. The traditional pipeline reveals closed the show with confirmation that the Black Series team are working on releases for The Droideka Destroyer Droid, the B2 Super Battle Droid, and C-3PO on Battle Droid body from the Battle of Geonosis. We would assume these three will all be released in the Attack of the Clones series. We can also look forward to some Amazon-exclusive figures from Jedi: Fallen Order. These Gaming Greats pipeline figures include Cal Kestis in the Inquisitor outfit, the Second Sister Trilla, and a Purge Trooper with Electrohammer. Love them, or hate them, the Star Wars Black Series Holiday figures are back for a 3rd wave releasing Autumn 2023 so the figures will be available in good time for the Festive season. This year's offerings are the usual repaints of existing Black Series releases with some clever accessory and creature mash-ups from the releases. We start with the Holiday Ewok and Porg. There is then a Mandalorian Scout with festive Anzellan. The Holiday Purge Trooper is accompanied by a festive MSE 'Mouse' droid. Then we have the Holiday Jawa and suitably festive Kowakian Monkey Lizard. The team have aptly used the Imperial Snowtrooper to create a Holiday Snowman Trooper who also comes with a snow-coloured Interrogator Droid. And the KX Security Droid rounds off the wave, also packed with a BD-1 Droid. As has been the case for previous waves - each figure will be exclusive to a particular retailer and the details of these have not yet been shared but these are likely to be spread around Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Gamestop in the US. The Hasbro SDCC 2023 Star Wars Panel had a number of new collector reveals across both the Vintage Collection and the Black Series. The Vintage Collection Reveals started with new carded figures of Pre Vizsla from The Clone Wars, Grand Admiral Thrawn from Rebels, Darth Revan from The Old Republic, and the Life Day Chewbacca from The Holiday Special. The majority of these single-carded releases are planned for Autumn 2023 - although Revan and Pre Vizsla are listed as Spring 2024. There were also reveals from the Disney+ Ahsoka series, with Ahsoka herself and a deluxe release of Sabine Wren in a VIntage Collection box complete with her blasters, graffiti tool, and Loth Cat. Ahsoka & Sabine are Autumn 2023 releases. A new Hasbro Pulse / Disney Store Exclusive box set of 4 Imperial Oficers will be released in Autumn 2023. Diamond Select Toys have announced at SDCC 2023 that they will be producing 7-inch Select Scale Action figures from HBO's House of the Dragon, with a Daemon Targaryen figure on display at SDCC 2023 to preview the new range.
