Super7 has unveiled Wave 7 of their Toho Godzilla Ultimates Series with new figures of Godzilla 1954 and Godzilla & Mechagodzilla from 1974. 1954 Godzilla will include three head options, including neutral, train biting, and heat ray head with attached heat ray effect. Listed on UK retailer Star Action Figures is a new McFarlane blister card DC Multiverse repack. This time its the new Supergirl movie figure, but without the extra head and hands included in the main Theatrical release. These carded releases are available internationally through distributors, while in the US these have been exclusive to Ross Dress for Less. "Peter's a goddamn legend in every Deadpool's world." When Deadpool & Wolverine hit our screens in 2024, it was clear that there was a large raft of characters who took part in the movie who we as collectors might want to join our Marvel Legends display. The first wave for the movie was relatively modest, with figures of Deadpool, Wolverine, and a pack featuring Headpool and a civilian Logan from the early bar scenes. We’ve had to wait until Spring of 2026 for the next batch of Deadpool & Wolverine MCU movie figures, with a full six-figure wave released and headed up by a 7th Deluxe release of Dogpool and Deadpool. From the single boxed wave, our review here looks at one of the Deadpool Corps. variants, Cowboypool. Cowboypool is packed in the standard Legends box, black in tone, with the Marvel Legends logo at the top left and the movie logo across the bottom, underneath the window. The character name of Cowboypool is shown via a side callout, printed to look like a rip in the box. To the right-hand side of the box is a full image of Cowboypool looking straight at the camera, wearing his Stetson. This image is used again, but smaller, on the opposite spine and on the back of the box. The box reverse has a short piece of text which kicks off with the words “A rootin’ tootin’ Deadpool variant” and then talks a bit more about his role in the Deadpool Corps and working for Cassandra Nova. Underneath this, and in another ‘torn out’ panel, is a checklist for the accompanying single-figure wave with headshots of each of the figures included. Cowboypool is packed into the usual inner plastic tray, and that is then set into a folded cardback sleeve. This sleeve is the same one that is being used across the entirety of the 2026 wave, a white/grey finish and covered in Deadpool doodles. While I understand why these are all uniform and re-used, seeing a Cowboy / Wild West version of these Doodles would have been so in keeping with this figure. Cowboypool is a full new figure as far as I can tell, and follows the movie suit closely with an upper torso cast in Deadpool red, but styled like a Wild West shirt with just a hint of the textured DP suit peeking out from the collar. This outer shirt features gold buttons and trim, while the neck features a matching, but individually fitting neckerchief in the same red. The arms are more Deadpool-esque with black panels at the shoulders, rings around the upper arms, and black gloves. The legs are a burgundy finish and are styled like chaps with the open crotch area showing black trousers underneath. The boots are ornate with sculpted patterns, but are sadly left in the same base colour as the trousers and all that detail left unpainted, although on screen the boots are this same colour, so the figure does remain accurate to the costume save for some weathering. We do get a different coloured sole to the boots in brown, and around the back are a pair of spurs, with the spur itself painted gold. Cowboypool is also wearing an ammunition bandoleer in brown with gold painted bullets and buttons, and beneath this, the gunslinger belt in the same tone of brown, but with a silver Deadpool logo buckle. From this hang the two holsters, and like the boots, these are quite ornate in their detail but left unpainted save a gold central emblem. I am not sure if these are designed to look like they connect to the straps on Cowboypools' legs, but if they are, the effect fails as the holsters sit too far out and do not connect at all. The head is the basic Deadpool mask, textured in red and with painted black eye panels and narrower white eyes. The Stetson hat is black and is fixed in position, so while it is an individual piece separate from the head, it is not designed as a removable accessory. This is a shame considering we would assume the shape of the DP head would accommodate a removable function. Cowboypool features three different pairs of hands, starting with a pair of clenched fists for hand-to-hand fighting, or to simply stand with his hands on his hips. These, like all the hands, have a black glove, but with a red peg to insert into the arms, and then with the bands across the back of the hand picked out in silver. These swap in and out easily, with a pair of softer rubberised cuffs on the figure, which do come off, although they are intended to remain in place to lengthen the glove on the figure to be more in keeping with the onscreen costume and Cowboy aesthetic. The second pair of hands are trigger hands designed to hold the revolvers that Cowboypool comes with. These guns capture the style of the old West revolvers like Smith and Wesson and feature the identifiable details like the barrel with end sight, the chamber, the hammer and the grip. The main body of each gun is gunmetal silver, while the grip is coloured in cream. These guns fit into Cowboypool’s holsters, but the fit is not overly snug, so they can fall out if the figure is moved around. They then also fit into either or both of the trigger finger hands, allowing Cowboypool to be displayed toting both weapons at once. The final set of hands is a set that includes an open left hand and a right hand with the middle finger pointing inward at a right angle. This right hand is designed to work with the final accessory, a spinning revolver effect that has another version of the gun in the middle, and then a circular surround in clear plastic to try and replicate a spinning motion. The finger on this right hand slots into the trigger of the gun, leaving Cowboypool posed as though spinning one of his guns. The effect works well enough, but like most included effect parts, there will be an element of personal choice if these fit with your display and collection. Cowboypool has 19 points of pinless articulation, with a standard set of legs including double-jointed knees alongside the ankle, hip and thigh joints, allowing both stable standing positions and the ability to kneel. The upper body is lacking in a couple of areas, with no obvious butterfly shoulder joint and a single-jointed neck, which hinders both the arms and the neck/head gestures. The rest of the arms are standard, accommodating quite a few poses and gestures, and the ability to wield the guns. The torso uses a waist rotation and a ball joint mid-section rather than a t-joint ab crunch, although the ball joint here is fairly extensive in its movement. Head swapped with the 2026 Deluxe Deadpool (with Dogpool) release. The Hat is not removable. As a noted point, for those who want some variation to their display, the head on Cowboypool can be swapped out with the other movie Deadpool figures. This does give an option for an unhatted look, although the hat being glued to the head doesn’t quite work from all angles to have it in Cowboypools hands on display. There will be a way for braver collectors to detach the head from the hat, and I’d be keen to see what is underneath if you indeed do this. On paper, when the wave was announced, Cowboypool was the figure I was least excited about. He looked off in the promo shots, but I am pleased to say in hand he is a very strong release with a great costume, strong accessories, and a good level of articulation. Considering how much work went into the sculpt on his boots and holsters, he is missing perhaps one more layer of decor just to bring these out, even if that was just a dusty weathering layer. We now have both Headpool and Cowboypool for our Deadpool Corps, but we really need Hasbro to go deeper to expand this collection further with Lady Deadpool, Kidpool, and Babypool, three must-haves for the future. Revealed by NECA and from IT: Welcome to Derry comes this new Ultimate Black & White Pennywise 7-inch scale figure. The set includes Pennywise in a grayscale decor as seen in IT: Welcome to Derry and specifically the flashback scene to the Juniper Hill Asylum in Episode 6. "You were always the wrong guy, till you weren't." When Deadpool & Wolverine hit our screens in 2024, it was clear that there was a large raft of characters who took part in the movie who we as collectors might want to join our Marvel Legends display. The first wave for the movie was relatively modest, with figures of Deadpool, Wolverine, and a pack featuring Headpool and a civilian Logan from the early bar scenes. We’ve had to wait until Spring of 2026 for the next batch of Deadpool & Wolverine MCU movie figures, with a full six-figure wave released and headed up by a 7th Deluxe release of Dogpool and Deadpool. From the single boxed wave, our review here looks at the X-23 figure, a character making their cinematic debut in the Marvel Legends line. X-23 is packed in the standard Legends box, black in tone, with the Marvel Legends logo at the top left and the movie logo across the bottom, underneath the window. The character details are shown on a side callout, printed to look like a rip in the box, and just states X-23 and no reference to Laura. To the right-hand side of the box is a full image of X-23 in her pink shades, wearing her grey shirt and logo'd T-Shirt. This image is used again, but smaller, on the opposite spine and on the back of the box. The box reverse has a short piece of text which does reference X-23 as Laura and talks about how she is “all grown up” and “shocked to see Logan”. Underneath this, and in another ‘torn out’ panel, is a checklist for the accompanying single-figure wave with headshots of each of the figures included. X-23 is packed into the usual inner plastic tray, and that is then set into a folded cardback sleeve. This sleeve is the same as the one being used across the entirety of the 2026 wave, a white/grey finish and covered in Deadpool doodles. X-23 is a full new figure, replicating the outfit we find her wearing when we meet the Resistance in Deadpool & Wolverine. The trousers start with a painted brown belt and a silver buckle carrying the X symbol. These jeans are a cast grey and sculpted as skinny jeans with folds towards the boots, which are black and feature tied straps but no paint detail to enhance them. X-23’s foot blades protrude from the toe of these boots in a dull silver finish. These are not removable. The upper torso is a similar grey to the legs, cut as a plain T-shirt and with a decal applied to the centre to represent the Savage World Tour T-Shirt X-23 is wearing in the void. Over this is a softer-sleeved open shirt in a slightly variant frey with upturned collars and sculpted buttons and pockets, but no further decor. While on paper this is removable, the top of the sleeves for the jacket are sculpted as part of the arms, so a coatless option looks odd. From these sleeves, the arms are a plain skin tone and end in a pair of fingerless gloves with X-23’s other two claws exposed. Unlike the feet, these are a brighter silver. You do get an extra pair of ungloves and claws retracted hands for an alternative look for X-23; these swap out in the usual fashion. We have two head sculpts included, both similar if not identical in the facial sculpt and photo-real decor and with a very good likeness to actor Dafne Keen. The variation in the heads is delivered more by the hair piece with one flowing around her shoulders and natural, the other wind-blown out to the side for a dynamic look. Both hair options do stick out a little at the back, and that on its own can look strange, but it is to allow the included backpack to be worn. This backpack is a single-tone khaki green finish with sculpted pockets and zips, but no additional colouring. Its two straps are flexible and slip over X-23’s shoulders and into the worn position, with the hair draping over the top. In place, it holds its position nicely and looks natural and part of the figure. We can then change X-23’s look with her pink sunglasses, a scaled piece that includes pink rims and translucent lenses. The arms of the glasses are shaped and line up to very slight gaps in the side of the hairpieces, allowing them to slide in and sit perfectly over X-23’s eyes. Like the backpack, once in position they look part of the figure, and unlike other removable glasses we’ve seen, the hair is a perfect securing point without the gap in the hair being noticeable when the glasses are off. A very crisp job overall. I found it a touch harder for X-23 to hold the glasses, but there is some grip in the alternative gloveless hands to hold the shades up as though putting them on or taking them off. The hands can also grip the rucksack straps when worn or hold it out using the straps or the upper loop. There is a final bonus accessory included, in the shape of Juggernaut's helmet. This is coloured in a hammered metal finish, with a large hollowed interior so it can be held or worn. While you can pose this with X-23, it's thrown in more to use with the Cassandra Nova figure, who is also part of the wave. Articulation is 22 points in total, all pinless, but lagging behind some of the other figures in the wave as she is without a butterfly shoulder. She weighs in with the same joint count as the likes of Deadpool and Wolverine, thanks to her construction, with rotations at the sleeve cut and boot cut where the parts connect. The upper body uses a waist swivel and a ball joint torso for ab-crunch too, and this has much less range than the T-joint we see on Logan figures as he crouches to attack. This all means her arm movements and upper body attack positions are lessened in the very extreme, although she can mimic most of what we see on screen. The legs include double-jointed knees and secure ankles, and there is sufficient movement for kneeling and crouching, and even enough ankle security for kicking or leaping positions on one leg. This can be achieved (patiently) without a stand, but adding an aftermarket foot stand will make sure the position holds. X-23 is a highlight in what is already an impressive wave of figures. She is a brand new, well-executed sculpt with a great likeness and a good level of accessories. The two head sculpts are nice, but I think the preference might have been two very different expressions, even then making the hair piece interchangeable so there are four distinct looks using the same amount of parts. The only other minor gripe is the footblade being permanently out, although in most cases, we will all be displaying X-23 as battle-ready. What we need now is the remainder of the Resistance, namely Gambit, Elektra, and Johnny Storm, so they can join X-23 and Blade in the Deadpol & Wolverine display. It is also worth noting that if you ignore the age variation, X-23 also looks good alongside the 2020 exclusive two-pack of Logan and Charles Xavier. 'Yo Joe June' is underway and ahead of the first June Hasbro G.I. Joe Classified Series panel on the 3rd of June, the social channels for Joe have shared some new digital render images of upcoming products, with further promo images widely shared shortly after. First is a look at Deep Six, who features the full dive suit, helmet, visor, backpack, weapons, and a skull head. He is a general release and is due to ship in October 2026. Then we get a look at the 'Battle in a Box' that was first teased at the New York Toy Fair. This will include a Cobra Stealth Viper with Trubble-Bubble facing off against Snake Eyes with a Varmint ATV. Each figure also comes with weaponry, with an Iron Grenadier head for Snake Eyes and extra hands for the Cobra Pilot. This is a general release and also ships in October 2026 The final release is the teased Cobra Commander in the classic hooded look, complete with his Throne. The first of Hasbro's Yo Joe June Fan Streams for G.I. Joe had a better look at this year's SDCC Exclusives of Shipwreck and Cadet Deming, as well as the Fatal Fluffies set. There were also the full reveals, followed by the pre-orders opening, for Deep Six, the Battle in a Box set with the Stealth Viper with Trubble Bubble vs Snake Eyes and Varmit, and the Cobra Commander in Dress Uniform with Throne. "I Get To Kill A Hundred Yous? F*** Yeah, I'm Ready!" When Deadpool & Wolverine hit our screens in 2024, it was clear that there was a large raft of characters who took part in the movie who we as collectors might want to join our Marvel Legends display. The first wave for the movie was relatively modest with figures of Deadpool, Wolverine, and a pack featuring Headpool and a civilian Logan from the early bar scenes. We’ve had to wait until Spring of 2026 for the next batch of Deadpool & Wolverine MCU movie figures, with a full six-figure wave released and headed up by a 7th Deluxe release of Dogpool and Deadpool. From the single boxed wave, our review here looks at the new Wolverine figure from the movie with battle damage. This new Wolverine figure is packed in the standard Legends box, black in tone, with the Marvel Legends logo at the top left and the movie logo across the bottom, underneath the window. The character details are shown on a side callout, printed to look like a rip in the box, and just states Wolverine with no subtitles for the battle damage. This means the labelling on this 2026 set is identical to the 2024 sleeved release and will also be the same as the upcoming 2026 shirtless Wolverine. Although when looking at the packaging side by side, the character text on the new version has moved to blue from the 2024 red text. To the right-hand side of the box is a full image of Wolverine, with sleeves removed, battle damage on the costume and a snarling facial expression. We get this image again, smaller on the opposite spine and on the back of the box. The box reverse has a short piece of text introducing Wolverine as “broken and shame-fueled”, and this is again the same text as used on the 2024 release, but with the text colour changed. Underneath this, and in another ‘torn out’ panel, is a checklist for the accompanying single-figure wave with headshots of each of the figures included. Wolverine is packed into the usual inner plastic tray, and that is then set into a folded cardback sleeve. This sleeve is again the same as used in 2024, and across the entirety of the 2026 wave, a white/grey finish covered in Deadpool doodles. Out of the box and the bulk of this 2026 Wolverine is a direct re-use of the original 2024 version, with the yellow X-Men uniform body cast in that base colour, with texture, and the blue sections overpainted around the sides of the torso, shoulders, hips, and boots. This time around, the arms are sleeveless, replicating the start of the finale of the movie as Deadpool & Wolverine face off with the Deadpool Corps. These arms are a skin-toned plastic and include battle damage in the way of bleeding slashes on both sides. They still feature the gauntlet-style gloves, in blue with black and yellow trim. The battle-damage decor for the uniform is added as black smears, varying in size and intensity and focused solely on the front of the figure, with quite a clean patch across the thigh area. The final detail on the costume is the red-painted X-Men logo on Wolverine’s belt. There are two head sculpts included, both masked, the first the same as the 2024 release with a neutral expression. The new alternative features a snarling Wolverine. Both include a textured yellow cowl with the iconic large black mask and ‘ears’ with the eyes painted in white. Face print tech is used for the facial hair, and on the snarling expression, the teeth are also painted out in white. vs the 2024 single release (right) When comparing to the 2024 figure, there is some minor variation in the base yellow, with the newer figure also featuring the sleeveless arms and the weathering and grime on the costume. All of the head sculpts across both figures are compatible, allowing Wolverine to be given an older unmasked head if you wish, or giving the older figure the snarling masked head. Heads are interchangeable // vs the Maniple Custom Arms (right) Prior to this release, aftermarket mods were available through Maniple to create the sleeveless masked look, and compared side by side, the 2026 version and this ‘custom’ job are pretty similar. You could even argue the Maniple versions have a slightly more natural skin tone. Wolverine comes with two sets of hands, as is standard for the character, one set with claws retracted and one with claws extended. These slot in and out of the wrist joint easily and are textured like the suit around the gloved section and overpainted with yellow panels, although here the yellow is duller, having been painted over a darker blue base plastic. Both hands feature the claw ‘sockets’ in silver, with the extended claws cast in a similar but duller silver finish. The shape of these extended claws is Ok out of the box with accurate spacing, but the softer plastic can see these warp and bend. We have 21 points of pinless articulation on the figure, allowing a wide range of movement and posing. The upper arms start with butterfly shoulders, followed by a bicep swivel, dual-joint elbow, and wrist peg. This allows Wolverine into most of his classic ‘claw out’ poses, with sufficient movement in the waist and T-joint ab joint for him to hunch forward, ready to spring into battle. The legs start with a standard hip, the thigh cut swivel, double joint knees, and an ankle rocker. They can position Wolverine in a number of combat poses as well as neutral stances, or into a kneeling or crouching stance. The original 2024 release of Wolverine from Deadpool & Wolverine arrived before the movie and likely suffered from being based on early artwork and costume shots and not the actual scenes. To that end, it was criticised for having the mask, but not the sleeveless look, as well as being too clean. This 2026 release feels like a reset and almost a correction of that original figure, which can now represent the earliest scenes of the movie with this grimy battle scared Wolveine more accurate visually to how we find him at the end. The new arms work well, as does the snarling head, with the decor sufficient to replicate that battle-damaged but with areas still too clean, and the weathering and damage completely missing on the reverse of the figure. This does now mean we have a headcount of 5 different Wolverine figures from the movie compared to Deadpool’s two (excluding Headpool, Dogpool and Cowboypool), and three of these Wolverines are the same version of the character with his costume in various states of deterioration - the fifth being the upcoming shirtless finale Wolverine. While we appreciate Hugh Jackman’s popularity alongside that of Wolverine as a character, there is possibly going to be some collector fatigue for these movie Wolveines and any future Deadpool & Wolverine figures should be focusing on the other variants like the Cavillrine, or all of those glorious cameos and supporting roles of older movie characters we see in The Void. NECA has revealed some brand-new horror-themed figures from the Dead by Daylight video game series, as seen originally at New York Toy Fair 2026. The reveal was hosted exclusively by Dread Central The Trapper and the Huntress from the multiplayer survival horror game will be released as 7-inch figures. The Huntress features soft goods skirt and veil and comes with extra hands, two hatchets, and her larger broad axe. The Trapper will include two extra sets of hands, his Cleaver weapon and a bear trap. “He may not be living his best life, but he sure as hell ain’t dead.” When Deadpool & Wolverine hit our screens in 2024, it was clear that there was a large raft of characters who took part in the movie who we as collectors might want to join our Marvel Legends display. The first wave for the movie was relatively modest at three releases, with figures of Deadpool, Wolverine, and a pack featuring Headpool and a civilian Logan from the early bar scenes. We’ve had to wait until Spring of 2026 for the next batch of Deadpool & Wolverine MCU movie figures, with a full six-figure wave released and headed up by a 7th Deluxe release of Dogpool and Deadpool. It is that Deluxe pack we are reviewing here. The Dogpool set arrives in the wider Deluxe box with the same height and depth dimensions as the single figures. It's black in tone, with the Marvel Legends logo at the top left and the movie logo across the bottom, underneath the window. The character details are shown on a side callout, printed to look like a rip in the box, and Hasbro has headlined the release as Dogpool & Deadpool, the same principle they applied to Headpool in 2024. To the right-hand side of the box is a full image of Dogpool, with the same character header at the top but now orientated the right way. This same image, but smaller, is used on the left-hand spine where the window wraps around partially. The rear of the box is the first part of the packaging to show Deadpool, and he is pictured holding Deadpool in a red love heart with hand-drawn hearts around him. Underneath this, and in another ‘torn out’ panel, is a checklist for the accompanying single-figure wave with headshots of each of the figures included. Dogpool and Deadpool are sat in an inner tray as usual, and surrounded by accessories. While there are no ties or clips, some of the smaller accessories are taped in place. The tray then sits into the cardboard inner that acts as the cardback. This is covered in Deadpool hand-drawn artwork, specifically Dogpool focused and therefore different to the packaging used on the previous 2024 figures and the main wave that accompanies the Deluxe. While not the ‘main’ character in the set, we will tackle Deadpool first, who is pretty much the same figure as released in 2024, sporting the new DP outfit the TVA fashions for him at the start of the movie. This is cast in textured red and black, depending on the part, with the alternating colour painted over. Buckles and straps are picked up in silver, with the odd flash of gold around the chest section, around the thigh straps, and on the boots. The belt is the most detailed part with a Deadpool buckle in red, black and white with a metallic sheen. The accompanying clips are in gold and brown, with the pouches around the belt also coloured brown with gold trim. There is one head sculpt only, so still no unmasked Wade Wilson head for the Legends MCU line, and, like the main costume, is cast in a textured red with black painted around the eyes, and the eyes themselves picked up in white. The costume incorporates a number of weapon storage pieces, which we will see more of shortly, but there is the cross holster on the back for his swords, twin holsters on the thighs for his guns, and a shin holster for Baby Knife on his right leg. vs the 2024 Single Release (right) Comparing the 2026 release with 2024, you can see no discernible difference other than some minor colour variations, which are to be expected from two different factory runs. Which ‘red’ is preferred will be a personal choice, and I myself do like the marginally darker red of the new release. This aside, the set is being sold purely on the accessories within and that Dogpool figurine. Those accessories start with ‘Hulk Hands’ playing on the conversation with Deadpool and Happy Hogan early in the movie. These are essentially shrunk-down versions of the existing kids' toys, designed with a hollow section within to fit over Deadpool’s own hands. They are cast in green, are marginally flexible, and are probably not going to feature on most people’s displays. Very much a bit of fun in the spirit of the tone of the movie. Next, we move to the start of Deadpool & Wolverine and the scene at Logan’s grave where Deadpool uses Logan’s Adamantium skeleton to battle the TVA. The set includes two Adamantium bone ‘weapons’ with silver cast bones connected by muscular tissue. One of these is straight, the other bent at a 90-degree angle, and they fit into either of DP’s gripping hands to be wielded as weapons either singularly, or together, like nunchucks. You can then also wield Logan’s skull, another silver skeletal piece featuring both a skull and the spine, which Deadpool can wield around like a club. The skull features extra decor, including some residual skin, picked out in a pale, sickly yellow, and white painted teeth with the front one missing. The skull sits on a ball joint where it joins the spine, making it articulated to a degree. The final parts of Logan’s body are the Adamantium claws, which come on the figure as you unpack it. These are removable and are cleverly engineered with the tissue straps flexible to go around and over the figure's forearms, securing the Adamantium claws in position for Wolverine-esque posing Before we move to the more traditional of Deadpool’s weapons, we should note the figure comes with three different sets of hands and a final extra right hand to accommodate the various guns, swords, and the knife. We will look at the weaponry-toting hands in a moment, but should mention that DP comes with a pair of clenched fists for hand-to-hand combat, and these are the best for using with the Wolverine Claws and the Hulk Hands. There are then a pair of ‘webslinging’ hands, paying homage to Deadpool’s own hero Spider-Man and some of the comic book covers where he mimics the webslinging hand gestures. These hands all slot in and out easily enough, and all of them are painted to mirror the costume with a black hand, red wrist, and gold bars down the back of the hand. Weapon one is ‘Baby Knife’, the same as was included on the 2024 release. This has a simple silver blade and a gloss black handle and slips into the holster on Deadpool’s right shin. Because the normal ‘sword’ hands are a bit too wide to hold this securely, an extra right hand with a tighter grip has been included to wield the knife in forehand or backhand grips. We then move to Deadpool’s Katanas, again the same as the 2024 release, which, like the knife, have a silver blade and a ribbed black grip. These can be holstered in the reverse cross-holster and then drawn and held using the pair of sword hands. The final addition to Deadpool’s arsenal are the Gold Plate Desert Eagle pisteleroos he covets from Nicepool, and eventually ‘inherits’ towards the end of the movie. In action figure form,I did expect these might be the same gun as 2024, but recast in gold. It was therefore great to see these are new for the MCU line and mimic the profile of a Desert Eagle pistol, although the gold plastic chosen is perhaps a bit too bright and ‘plasticky ’, which cheapens the effect. The guns can be holstered, or held in the gun-toting hands where both left and right options have a trigger finger that engages into place. All of these myriad of accessories and weapons are supported by 22 points of pinless articulation. Deadpool has a relatively full range of motion with legs that can crouch and kneel and arms that can aim pistols, point swords for duelling, or even swing round the Logan Skull as a flail. The head is jointed at the top and bottom, but most of the base movement is locked. That still allows Deadpool to cock his head to imitate a lot of what he does on screen in the mask. The main trunk of the body has a T-joint ab crunch, which allows for some forward movement, important to match Wolverine and his claws out ready for battle stance. Rotation for the torso is provided at the waist and is neatly disguised by the belt. So now the headliner of the set, Dogpool, and she is a scaled figurine replicating his outfit from the film. This is made up of a red & black costume and boots, one for each foot, textured like the main figure and inclusive of a tiny Deadpool face logo on the very front in red, with white eyes. There is a central belt sculpted into the body and painted brown, as are the attached pouches. Dogpool’s fur is brown and also textured, with her tiny tail protruding at the back. The head is the only movable piece, plugged in at the neck of the mini-Deadpool custom and able to rotate 360 degrees (not that this is natural for a dog). The head features the shock of white fur on her head and at her cheeks. Eyes are painted black, while the trademark tongue is a pink colour. This is a figurine rather than a figure, thanks to the static pose and very limited articulation. She is sculpted seated, to sit alongside your figures, but will also work in held poses with Deadpool, either held in two hands in front or one hand to the side. The set retails here in the UK at £39.99, and for the extra £15 vs the older single release, you are coming away with a Dogpool, Hulk Hands, and the Adamantium bone weaponry. Deadpool himself is unchanged and offers nothing to enhance your display other than the accessories if you already bought the 2024 release. A variant head would have been welcomed, either with a different expression around the eyes or the long-asked-for unmasked Wade Wilson head. Those extra accessories are all quite fun, and work well enough with the figure for replicating specific scenes, although none of them are particularly detailed or well-painted. The upgrade to the Gold Desert Eagles in another welcome touch vs the original, but the execution looks a little cheap - black and dark grey work fine on weaponry, other colours do allow you to see the flaws in the sculpt and lack of added detail where needed. Dogpool is fine, and I did not expect anything articulated at that scale. The chosen 'sit' position works with the figure or on its own, and the decor is enough to replicate the movie, but like the accessories is less detailed than you might hope when inspected close up. Any Deadpool wave, movie or otherwise, is going to be headlined by Wade Wilson. This one should have added in a couple more pieces to appeal to fans (unmasked head), or it could have taken a bigger risk and replaced Deadpool completely with Lady Deadpool, while still packing in the accessories for fans to use on their older figure (a technique we will see applied in the accompanying wave).
