Hasbro's Transformers offerings at SDCC were across both the Studio Series and Age of the Primes lines. All of the press details released are as follows, with a focus on Studio Series as that is the line we predominantly cover in line with our focus on action figures from Movies and TV. For the Studio Series, we can look forward to a new Deluxe Shockwave from Transformers: One as well as a Deluxe Class Wheelie and Deluxe Class Allicon from Transformers: The Movie. These are all Spring 2027 releases The big reveal was another Titan Class, the Dinobot Scorn from Transformers: Age of Extinction. This one will be an Autumn 2027 release. Unveiled by Mondo Toys at SDCC 2026 is their new 6-inch scale ECTO-1 from The Real Ghostbusters. ECTO-1 can accommodate their existing 1/12 RGB figures with opening doors. McFarlane's SDCC 2026 panel gave a roadmap for the final few months of their DC licence before it moves to Mattel, and within this there were plans across the Elite Edition, DC Multiverse, and for Page Punchers. From the DC comic books we can look forward to releases for Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Robin, Plastic Man, and Batman. There is also a wave of Green Lanterns including Ghr'll, Medphyll, Nautkeloi, and Sinestro as a Green Lantern. There will then be a DC Collector Edition wave featuring Mera, Wonder Girl, Black Manta, and Raven. The Green Lantern theme will continue with an Atrocitus and Red Lantern set, Atrocitus being a Mega-Fig. There will also be a new Mega Figure of Doomsday from Death of Superman. In the Theatrical Edition series, we have Batman from The Batman, Catwoman from Batman Returns, and Commissioner Gordon from The Dark Knight. We have a further DC Page Punchers set incoming which features Nightwing and Batman with Red Platinum versions Tim Drake and Dick Grayson's Robin. These are all taken from the Batman comic issue 81. The DC reveals concluded with an Elite Edition release of Batman, which will be a US Walmart Exclusive. The final reveals moved to Mortal Kombat Klassics and new two-packs. The Hasbro Star Wars Panel at SDCC 2026 focused on announcements for both the Star Wars Black Series and Vintage Collection. The Black Series kicked off with a focus on The Mandalorian and Grogu, and the reveal of a Deluxe release of Rotta the Hutt complete with alternative hands and gladiator weapons. The Black Series then moved to Maul: Shadowlord and the release of Marrok from the show, in his complete Imperial Inquisitor armour. Boosting Maul's own forces are the releases of the Mandalorian Super Commando Kebris as well as Icarus, complete with mini-gun. The single reveals then switched to the Clone Wars and releases of Mother Talzin and Gar Saxon All of the Black Series reveals are live for pre-order as of the 27th of July and are general releases with expected shipping in the Autumn. In terms of exclusives, the next Clones of the Republic set was unveiled as featuring Ahsoka Tano and ARC Trooper Jesse. This will be a Hasbro Pulse exclusive with stock going into Disney Stores at a later date. This will arrive in the Autumn. ARC Trooper Jesse is also getting a Black Series roleplay helmet release. The panel closed with the news that the Black Series Galaxy Collection is coming to an end and we will move to new Phase 5 packaging with a 6-figure wave, the first figure of which is confirmed as an Episode I Queen Amidala. In the Vintage Collection, there were also offerings for The Mandalorian and Grogu with a new INT-4 release as seen in the movie, along with the Imperial Remnant Warlord. The Vintage Collection is also getting a Rotta the Hutt, and like the Black Series version, this comes with extra hands and gladiator weapons. Continuing the Vintage Collection 'Battle of Geonosis' theme that ties in with the HasLab Gunship, we have new single mainline releases of a Super Battle Droid, B1 Battle Droid Commander, Episode II Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padme Amidala, and Episode II Anakin Skywalker. These are Autumn 2026 releases. There was no direct Retro Collection news as such, but a graphic did indicate a large volume of Retro figures are incoming. The blacked-out poster showed 27 individual figures plus three larger placeholders. The Hasbro team indicated that the shapes do not necessarily line up to the figures but to act as a tease only as to what is coming. At Hasbro's SDCC 2026 Star Wars Panel, it was confirmed that for 2027 and to mark the 50th Anniversary of Star Wars, the Black Series packaging would change. This Phase 5 packaging replaces the Galaxy Collection, and incorporates elements of the previous packaging designs, including side artwork without connectivity to wider montages, and an orange flash colour line. It also appears to move to a checklist of figures on the back, with the first wave featuring six figures of which we know one is Queen Amidala from The Phantom Menace. There were plenty of new reveals at Hasbro's SDCC 2026 panel across The Mandalorian and Grogu, Maul: Shadowlord, and The Clone Wars. Hasbro has now shared the full promotional images and details for each of the new sets. It starts with the Deluxe release of Rotta the Hutt from The Mandalorian and Grogu, complete with spare hands and four Gladiator weapons. Rotta is a general release, is live for pre-order as of the 27th of July and ships in the Autumn. Up next is the next Clones of the Republic set, which includes Ahsoka Tano from Season 7 of The Clone Wars along with ARC Trooper Jesse. Hasbro has shared the promo images and details for their Marvel Legends reveals from their SDCC 2026 panel. NECA's SDCC 2026 booth included display items for their most recent reveals, and the various items that were announced at the start of SDCC, including the new Alien: Earth figures, Predator: Badlands, Sesame Street, I Know What You Did Last Summer, KISS, and the DC 8-inch retro figures. There were a few other new items that can be found in the booth, including a look at the Gonzo and Cammille figures from The Muppets along with a Miss Piggy figure.
