Hiya Toys Exquisite Basic Megaguirus from Godzilla vs Megaguirus (2000)
Hiya Toys have announced the arrival of Megaguirus to their Godzilla line of figures. From the movie Godzilla vs. Megaguirus (2000), this new Hiya Megaguirus measures 24.5cm across and is fully articulated, including the wings.
The figure also comes with a display stand for the flight poses. It is a general release and is expected to ship in Q4 (October to December) of 2027. It will be available in all territories apart from Japan.

The 24th film in the Godzilla series, Godzilla vs. Megaguirus follows humanity’s latest attempt to eliminate Godzilla once and for all. Under the “G Extermination Strategy,” the G Countermeasures Headquarters develops the Dimension Tide, a new weapon capable of generating an artificial black hole. However, a test firing distorts space-time and awakens the ancient giant insect Meganulon in the modern world. Rapidly multiplying and developing into swarms of Meganula, they absorb Godzilla’s energy and ultimately give rise to the vicious monster Megaguirus, armed with incredible speed and destructive power. A three-way battle between Godzilla, Megaguirus, and humanity soon erupts across Odaiba, Tokyo.
The new EXQUISITE BASIC Series Megaguirus action figure is based on its appearance in Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. Measuring approximately 24.5CM from the spikes on its head to the tip of its tail, features sharply sculpted armor-like surfaces, layered spikes, and intricate insectoid textures across the body. Its aggressive head sculpt, prominent compound eyes, and vivid red abdominal details are faithfully recreated, while the broad wings feature finely layered textures with dark tones and brown-gold gradients that capture the monster’s distinctive on-screen appearance.
Features multiple joints across the body, allowing for dynamic airborne poses such as fully spread wings and high-speed diving attacks. Articulated wings and limbs further expand the posing possibilities, while the included display stand supports dramatic flight poses and aerial battle scenes against Godzilla.
