'The Mephitsu Archives' Collection Tour for May the 4th 2026

The Mephitsu Archives isn't just a name; it reflects the fact that at the very heart of what we do is a collection, and almost every item we review on the site ends up in my personal collection or that of my family. Until relatively recently, the collection was spread across a number of rooms (and boxes), but after Covid, I began working on our spare room to create an office and collection space.
Sadly, several spells of illness and surgery have prolonged that project, but for this May the 4th, it is finally in a reasonable place where I can share it with you.
As you can see in the video, the Star Wars content is predominantly Star Wars Black Series, dating back to 2013 when the line launched. While not perfectly aligned, the displays are split between Prequel, Original, Disney+, and Sequels, including both Jabba and Snoke's throne rooms. On the wall is my as-yet-incomplete Vintage run - our Vintage Rescue project. You will also see D&D, Ghostbusters, and Warhammer 40k sharing some of this space.
There is more work to go, there is another corner of Marvel Legends that is still a work in progress, and there are a few things to tidy up and get stowed away properly.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters.
