SDCC 2019 Hasbro Marvel Legends new figures announced for 2020

As the dust settles on SDCC 2019 let's have a good look at the new Marvel Legends figures announced by Hasbro at their San Diego panel.

As far as the MCU goes we had the full Avengers Endgame 3rd wave revealed at the SDCC Press Breakfast, and a re-pack of the Civil War Giant Man pack confirmed at the panel - click through the links to see both of these.

We have also looked at the imminent 2019 releases for Marvel Legends including more announcements in the 80th Anniversary line. This article focuses on the future 2020 releases.

We start with a new Spider-Man wave in 2020 and this will include figures from the PS4 game. Two were revealed at SDCC 2019, the Velocity Suit and the Spider-Armor Mk3.

Joining Spider-Man in the wave is Shang-Chi. An apt choice considering the confirmation of a Shang-Chi MCU movie. And for the bad guys we have a classic comic book Vulture. More figures will be confirmed for this wave as we move through the rest of 2019 with Hasbro repeating last years process of reveals at all major worldwide conventions.

THe X-Men wave for 2020 looks to be themed around the Age of Apocalypse and will include a new Weapon X Wolverine. He will be joined by Morph and a Nate Grey. The rest of this wave is still to be confirmed including the BAF.

One BAF we do know is incoming is Strong Guy and he is listed as being the BAF for a 2020 Deadpool wave.

From the New Mutants comes Dani Moonstar, a figure previewed and cancelled back in 2012. Dani will be the next Walgreens US exclusive, with a wider fan channel release worldwide. The Hasbro team have cleverly inserted two extra heads with this set so you can also make Wolfsbane and Karma from X-Factor - potentially tripling sales on the set.

The next two figures are from what we expect to be an Avengers themed 2020 wave. Up first is the Jennifer Walters Modern Hulk (not the classic She-Hulk) and she is joined by a classic Doctor Doom.

The final two reveals are part of the Riders series. Squirrel Girl is an obvious re-use of the Deadpool Scooter, but brings this fan favourite into the Legends series in 2020.

The final reveal is a stunning Cosmic Ghost Rider along with his Intergalactic Motorcycle.
