Mezco One:12 Collective Alien (1979)
After years of NECA dominating the Alien action figure market, we can now look forward to a new 6-inch option courtesy of Mezco. The Mezco One:12 Collective Xenomorph is based on the "Big Chap" Alien from the original 1979 movie. It will feature full articulation on a brand new seamless body. The jaw is also articulated and there are interchangeable inner mouths for differing looks. There is also a swap-out chest, one normal and one damaged as pierced by the grappling gun at the end of the movie.
Accessories in the set feature a coiled Facegugger, designed to fit over the head of most other standard Mezco One:12 figures. We will also get an open Facehugger, Chestbuster, and two Alien Eggs - one open, and one closed.
The Alien (1979) is an early 2022 release, shipping between January and March. It can be preordered now through Mezco (with International Options) or via your Mezco stockist.
It is interesting to see Kane in the promo images. It could simply be a prop for the photos as no further figures are confirmed as yet. On the flipside, Mezco often teases new releases in their promo gallery and we may have more Alien figures to look forward to?

The perfect organism, Alien joins the One:12 Collective!
The One:12 Collective Alien features an all-new seamless body designed with an internal skeleton armature that is durable yet highly posable. The hostile xenomorph is equipped with a hinged pharyngeal jaw and interchangeable inner mouths, as well as an interchangeable chest plate pierced by the ASSO-400 Harpoon Grappling Gun, as seen in the final scene of the movie.
Alien is fully loaded with film-accurate accessories including a coiled Facehugger that can fit over the heads of most other One:12 Collective figures, an open Facehugger, a Chestburster, and an open and closed Ovomorph egg.
The crew aboard the Nostromo are awakened from their cryo-sleep to investigate a distress call from an alien vessel. After the crew encounters a nest of eggs inside the alien ship, terror begins as they realize they are not alone.
