McFarlane Warhammer 40k Black Templars Primaris Crusader, Blood Angels Infernus Marine, Ultramarines Lieutenant
Updated: Sep 24
McFarlane has announced three new figures that are joining its Warhammer 40k series and expanding the armies of the Imperium.
They include the debut of the Black Templars with the Primaris Crusader who comes with two head options as well as a Pyreblaster and Devotion Chain. There are also reinforcements for the Blood Angels and the Ultramarines, two chapters already well represented in the line.
There is the Blood Angels Infernus Marine, who also has two head options and a Pyreblaster. And for the Ultramarines, and based on the Total War video game, there is the Ultramarines 3rd Company Lieutenant, who includes an unmasked head alongside an Iron Halo, Plasma Pistol, and Power Sword
All of the three also come with the display base and a collector card, and arrive in window box packaging. These are live for pre-ordering as of the 23rd of September 2026 and are expected to ship between October and November 2026. We've added them to our extensive McFarlane Collector Database
Infernus Squads purge swathes of enemy ranks with the incandescent firestorms they unleash from their Pyreblasters. They are close-assault specialists, sending jets of burning promethium into trench lines and bunkers, through dense ruins and concealing vegetation, ensuring no foe escapes their Chapter's fiery wrath.
Infused with the post-human might of the Primaris miracle, these Crusader Squads storm into battle with bolt rifles blazing and Astartes chainswords howling. Initiates aim jets of fire from their Pyreblasters or swing crackling power fists into their foes, while hard-eyed Neophytes fight furiously to prove their martial worth.
Lieutenants, in addition to being extremely able tacticians and strategists, are highly skilled warriors. Experts in all the lethal weaponry of the battle-brothers they so often command and fight alongside, they bellow orders and coordinate their brothers' attacks even as they strike at the foe with their own arsenal of powerful weapons.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
