Revealed at Comics & Cocktails are a new wave of the McFarlane DC Multiverse slimmed-down carded figures. This line was first released last year, taking existing figures and stripping out accessories and putting them on a small footprint card and blister. In the US, these first figures were created for the Ross Dress for Less discount outlet.
We assume this new wave will also head to Ross in the US, while here in the UK, there is availability via stockists, thanks to the UK distributor. This time round, the wave features The Joker from Death of the Family, DC Rebirth Batman, and the black suit Superman from the Justice League movie.
The trio of carded figures are due in July 2026. We've added them to our extensive McFarlane Collector Database
Once a small-time crook, The Joker fell into a vat of chemicals that turned his skin white, his hair green, and his lips red—like a crazed clown. His crimes always involve pranks and jokes ending with twisted punchlines that are only funny to The Joker. He may look like he’s clowning around, but this guy is bad news for Batman and Gotham City!
As a child, Bruce Wayne watched as his parents were brutally killed in Gotham City’s Crime Alley. Traumatized by their deaths, he devoted his life to becoming the worlds greatest weapon against crime – the Batman! To become the ultimate vigilante, the Dark Knight disciplined his mind and body to reach the pinnacle of mental and physical superiority in his relentless pursuit of Justice
Once the world’s most powerful and iconic Super Hero, Superman personified a higher calling to truth and justice and a deep respect for all humanity. The absence of this fallen idol, whose sacrifice stunned the world, inspires the formation of the Justice League.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
