20 years ago today, 14th July, the X-Men movie was released by Fox and arguably launched the comic book movie era we enjoy today.
To celebrate, and as revealed at New York Toy Fair, Hasbro will be releasing a number of X-Men movie figures in their Marvel Legends line.
The first of these will be taken from the X-Men franchise. We will have single releases of Mystique and Wolverine from the original movie. Logan will come with two head options as well as two pairs of hands - claws in and claws out. Mystique will also feature alternative hands as well as a full swap out arm piece that is transforming to a human.

There will then be a two pack of Magneto and Professor Xavier. This will essentially be based on the Fassbender and McAvoy versions, but will include alternative heads for the Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen versions.
Magneto is the Days of Future Past Fassbender Version, although the body is quite close to what McKellen wears in the future scenes. Professor X is as seen in Apocalypse, but again the suit and chair are very similar to what the Patrick Stewart Xavier was seen in during the earlier fils.
Magneto has four head options in total, helmeted and unhelmeted versions for both Fassbender and McKellen. Both figures come with alternative hands, and Xavier with his wheelchair.

The sets are being packed in new X-Men themed boxed packaging with gunmetal grey box and X-Men yellow figure backing. They also feature some striking rear artwork. Pre-orders are now opening via the Fan Channel for International collectors with an ETA of October 2020. I don't believe there is any exclusivity in the US for these.
There are further figures coming from Deadpool, but as yet these have not been released for pre-order. These also sit alongside an Amazon exclusive Wolverine from X-Men origins. Read More here...
