With Fox now under Disney ownership, it seems any restrictions on Hasbro making X-Men movie figures has been removed and at New York Toy Fair 2020 the Hasbro Marvel Legends team announced a new range of figures based on the original X-Men movie Universe, including Deadpool, celebrating 20 years of the Fox movies.
There will be three single release X-Men figures starting with Wolverine and Mystique from the original X-Men movie from 2000. These will be a general release.
The third, Wolverine from X-Men Origins : Wolverine, will be an Amazon Exclusive - and this is already up for pre-order in the US (paid link)
We then have a wonderful 2-pack of Magneto and Professor X. The set cleverly includes two heads for each character. Magneto has a Michael Fassbender head as well as one for Ian McKellen. Professor X gets a James McAvoy head and that of Patrick Stewart.
Magneto is certainly based on the Days of Future Past look, while Xavier from Age of Apocalypse. The costumes aren't really a match to the older Stewart and McKellen versions - but the inclusion is a nice touch and may indicate further versions of the characters later if the line does well? This two pack is also a general release.
Moving on to Deadpool and we have two single releases in shape of Cable and Domino. Cable is listed as a Walmart exclusive, while Domino has no such exclusivity.
The Merc with the Mouth is packed in a two-pack alongside Negasonic Teenage Warhead in her yellow and black X-Men gear. This set will also be a general release.
All the X-Men Legends have a release date of Autumn 2020.
