The Hiya Toys Booth at SDCC 2025 included a number of new prototype figures being developed for future release. In the Universal Studios Godzilla series, we see Exquisite Basic figures of Behemoth, Scylla, Tiamat, Skarr King, Warbat, and B.E.A.S.T. Glove King Kong. In the Toho Godzilla figures there is a new Monster X figure, Godzilla from Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla, Heat Ray Godzilla from Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, and a Burning Godzilla from Godzilla vs Destroyah. And in a similar style, but from the Monsters Hunters series, is a new figure of Nergigante Also being previewed were new figures from Persona 5 Royal, including Joker, Panther, and Queen. And from Ghost in the Shell, Kusanagi Motoko. We also get another look at their Robocop figure, and the pairing of Bill Rizer and Lance Bean from the game Contra: Operation Galuga There was a number of Walking Dead figures on display, and the Universal Soldier releases. I do not profess to have a huge in-depth knowledge of the entire Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Universe, and therefore the vast array of new reveals, previews, and teases in the NECA booth at SDCC 2025 is difficult to break down and identify without the formal announcements and press details which will undoubtedly follow in the coming weeks and months. What we do know is that the original 1990s Turtles are being repacked and re-released in new Ultimate Format packaging with some updated accessories and parts. Other highlights include Raphael as Shredder and the 2012 Nickelodeon Animated Turtles. While SDCC is in full swing, there is also the Medicom MAFEX Exhibition taking place over in Tokyo. So far, the headline reveals are new MAFEX figures of Deadpool and Wolverine from the 2024 Deadpool & Wolverine movie, with Deadpool also coming with a Dogpool figure. There is also an unpainted prototype of the Arthur Fleck Joker. Three new Marvel MAFEX figures have opened for pre-order courtesy of Medicom. They include the previously teased figures of The Punisher and Venom from Let There Be Carnage. The third figure is the comic book Ice-Man from X-Men, Punisher will include two head options, the second a smirking version. There are extra hands, and as you'd expect a full arsenal of weapons to choose from. Iceman includes three heads, extra hands, ice effect parts, and an ice effect 'wave' base. Ice-Man will release in June 2026 and Punisher in July of the same year. Venom will feature six different head options, allowing four different looks for Venom and two further heads where the symbiote reveals Tom Hardy's likeness underneath. There is also a raft of venomised weapons including shields, sycthes and blade like extensions to Venom's body. Venom is a December 2025 release. As SDCC 2025 gets underway in full, NECA have plenty of new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles displayed in their booth. Among them are three new super-limited Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mirage Comics / Last Ronin figures. Warner Bros. have today announced the Peacefest event coinciding with SDCC 2025, celebrating the second season of Peacemaker starring John Cena. One of the products revealed as part of the Peacefest celebration is a new McFarlane DC Multiverse release of Peacemaker as seen in Season 2, complete with masked and unmasked heads, helmet variants,Eagly and a handgun. They include three from the DC Multiverse series, including a Cover Recreations release of Superman from Kingdom Come, complete with comic book backdrop.
