The first two Mallrats figures from Diamond Select aren't due in until the back end of the year, and we have already had a reveal of what series 2 will look like. Like the first wave, the second will be made up of two figures. The first is Silent Bob who comes with alternative head, grappling gun and utility belt. Bob will come with a Popular Girl store backdrop. Bob, like Jay from series 1, will be re-using some parts from the earlier Jay & Silent Bob Select figures. The second figure is Renee, who comes packed with shopping bags, purse and video take. Renee will come with Fashionable Male store backdrop. We have seen the promotional images of the Predator, Series 16, Stalker Predator from NECA and this image has now been released as a behind the scenes look at the development of the figure which is due out in Autumn this year. It also gives us a look at the Predator behind the mask. Series 16 will be another Kenner themed line and stalker will have a Glow in the Dark feature. Diamond Select's X-Files 7 inch figures are ready to ship to stores next month, and Diamond have now released a first look at the packaging for the two figures. The packaging looks to be a perfect blend of the usual Select styling, while capturing that 1990's feel of the X-Files themselves. Mulder will be sold with alternative hands, head, FBI badge, hand-gun and a bag of pumpkin seeds. He will also come with the chair from the X-Files office. Scully will come with alternative hands, torch, FBI badge and hand-gun. She will be packed with the desk. The desk is a direct re-use of the one packed with the Gotham Select Ed Nygma. although these images now indicate it has been recoloured to a dark wood colour. The decision to pack Scully as though she is standing on the desk is a little odd. UK fans can pre-order Mulder and Scully at our affiliate partner, Forbidden Planet

NECA have tweeted the following image of a prototype 7 inch scale T800 Endoskeleton arm, complete with cylindrical case. It seems this is something that NECA are working for perhaps a future figure or accessory pack - but nothing as yet is confirmed. Muppet fan site, Toughpigs, have revealed a first look at Diamond's third series of Muppet Select figures. The three pack series will be broken down as follows Rowlf the Dog, Crazy Harry and Mahna Mahna Floyd Pepper and Janice Miss Piggy, Foo Foo and Penguin

NECA have confirmed full details of their Ultimate Ash figure, as seen in The Evil Dead 2 played by Bruce Campbell. As with all Ultimate releases, Ash will come with two head options one of which is a possessed sculpt. There are then swappable hands/arm options as well as a tape recorder, Sheila's severed head and a shotgun and axe. What is causing most controvery amongst some fans is the lack of a Chainsaw accessory which has been a trademark of Ash and the Evil Dead movies. NECA have now confirmed that they are releasing the Translucent 1979 Concept Alien in their Quarter Scale line. The figure will be a very limited run "For #facehuggerfriday coming in Q scale by popular demand. Very limited run on this. Act quickly, 1 chance only" - Randy Falk, NECA via Twitter

Mattel's DC Multiverse figures for Suicide Squad are showing up on eBay with quite a few new images of the packaged figures. The 6 inch wave is made up of 6 figures - The Joker, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Boomerang, Katana and Batman. Each figure is packed with a build-a-figure piece to allow you to build Killer Croc. There appears to be two variant versions of Harley if you look at the sleeve design. The card-back also shows all 6 figures down the left hand side, but seems to run with two pictures of Harley and no Joker figure. No images as yet of Katana or Boomerang - we will add these as and when they show up. Also found online are two 12 inch figures - Harley Quinn and Deadshot. Again there appears to be a variant in Harley Quinn in terms of positioning of her "Good Night" baseball bat. The card-back also confirms a Joker figure (as seen at Toy Fair in Purple long coat) but like the 6 inch figures it runs with an image of Harley instead - not sure if this is deliberate or an error?

These images have been circulated overnight on eBay. The Spider-Man wave has not officially announced by Hasbro, but seemingly in hand in hand with at least one individual in Hong Kong who has listed the full wave on eBay. The 6 figure wave gives us a new Spider-Man, with unmasked Peter Parker head and what appears to be a brand new sculpt and not a re-use of the most recent "Pizza" Spider-Man. There is a Miles Morales Spider-Man, also unmasked, as well as a Goblin, Electro, Silk and Ashley Barton. Each figure contains a build-a-figure piece allowing you to construct Space Venom. These look pretty finished and ready for distribution to me, but of course we are still waiting on the last Captain America Civil War wave to hit the UK.

NECA's second wave of the revamped Rocky figures will, as we know, be based on Rocky IV. The full line up has now been revealed to include... Apollo Creed with removable hat and coat and alternative serious head. Ivan Drago in Yellow shorts. This is the outfit Drago wore fighting Apollo Creed. Ivan Drago in Red shorts, with bloodied head, as seen in his fight with Rocky. Rocky with two head options and USA flag. Some fans were quick to point out the difference between Rocky's striped shorts, and those on Apollo - but this is actually film accurate if you look at stills. Great attention to detail. Apollo is a new sculpt, while Drago is a re-release of the older figure with updated paint apps. Rocky is a combination of earlier Rocky figures and the flag as used on the video game version.
