Diamond have released the following packaged images of their three Captain America Civil War 7 inch scale Select figures. Later than expected - Captain America, Iron Man and The Winter Soldier should hit stores late July / early August. "Coming in late July/early August, 7" scale figures of Captain America, Iron Man andBucky Barnes / Winter Soldier, each with 1/3 of an Avengers HQ diorama backdrop."

As we suspected, Hasbro are going to make their 6 inch scale Obi Wan Kenobi exclusive set available at the London Film and Comic Con. Obi Wan will be sold via the fantastic A1 toys, and limited to 2 units per customer. The price will be £44.99 for the box set which of course includes the New Hope Obi Wan with soft goods robe. He also comes with a light up table with holographic Princess Leia as well as both his own, and Anakin's (soon to be Luke's) light saber. This is better news for UK customers who initially expected Obi Wan to be a US & Canada only exclusive via SDCC and the Canadian Fan Expo. The LFCC runs from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st July. A1 toys will be in attendance for all 3 days.

Tryng to work out exactly what figures are in the Mattel DC Suicide Squad Multiverse range is getting quite complex. We've already seen Deadshot and Batman as well as a couple of variants of The Joker and Harley Quinn. Harley can now add another variant to her list with this Amazon exclusive of Harley in gold and black harlequin pattern dress. This Harley is due to be released on the 15th of August, and you can pre-order now at Amazon via THIS LINK. UK fans can also order from the US site, and on current exchange rates you will be paying around £24-£25 delivered inc any custom fees. On top of this, eBay seller Flyqiong87, has listed auctions for loose 6" versions of Rick Flag and Diablo. The seller is based in China and we have to assume these are early factory samples from what we would guess would be a 2nd wave of the Suicide Squad Multiverse figures.

NECA have tweeted the following image of what appears to be a new, or at least tweaked, Terminator 2 T800 figure. "Happy 25th to T2:Judgement Day. More in works, additional details at sdcc." - Randy Falk, NECA (via Twitter) Speculation as to what this figure signifies is rife, but the accompanying tweet indicates that this will be a release to celebrate the T2 25th Anniversary and there are more in the works. Looking at what they have done with Rocky, I suspect we could be getting a tweaked wave of boxed T2 figures using the three T2 figures already done in the Ultimate style (T800, T1000 and Sarah Connor) - or perhaps all three in a set of some kind?

NECA's Randy Falk has confirmed, via the Eric Nagel Show, that NECA will be making figures from the ABC hit show Preacher. "Randy of @NECA_TOYS just announced that #NECA will be doing a toy line for #Preacher !" - Erik Nagel Show via Twitter) As yet there are no other details, and we have to consider that this won't automatically mean 7" scale figures, they could fall them into their 8" Retro line? We will watch to see how this one develops. "Preacher is an American television series developed by Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen and Sam Catlin for AMC starring Dominic Cooper. It is an adaptation of the comic book series created by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, and published by DC Comics' Vertigoimprint. The series was officially picked up on September 9, 2015,[1] with a ten-episode order which premiered on May 22, 2016.[2]On June 29, 2016, AMC renewed the series for a 13-episode second season to air in 2017" (Wikipedia)

"Let's take a closer look at the ultra creepy Albino packaging for #facehuggerfriday" Aliens Series 9, containing the figures of Vasquez, Drake and the Albino Concept Alien will hit stores later this year. NECA have revealed the initial packaging design for the Albino. The figures will be packed in the usual clamshell packaging.

There have been rumours of an Alec Guiness Obi Wan Kenobi figure for some time, but few would have predicted him being this years SDCC exclusive. Announced today via Entertainment Weekly, Obi Wan will come in special collectors packaging. He will come with a soft goods robe as well as his light saber, and also Anakin's light saber that he would later hand to Luke Skywalker. He will also come with a table and the holographic image of Princess Leia. The table is confirmed as being battery operated with a light up function The packaging, black and white in design, is along the same vein as last year's First Order Stormtrooper. I suspect that like the SWCE Kylo Ren that we will see this Obi Wan figure as a standard release sooner rather than later - and it is the packaging and one or more of the accessories being the exclusive part, most likely the Leia hologram and table. Obi Wan will be sold via the Hasbro booth at SDCC 2016 and will be $44.99 (which equates to £33.93. UK fans should keep a close eye on places like Kapow Toys, and Far East sellers like RobotKingdom, who usually get hold of stocks of SDCC exclusives around the same time of the event.

Hasbro have confirmed that their 6 inch Black Series exclusive for Star Wars Celebration 2016 will be an unmasked Kylo Ren. The exclusive was announced via Entertainment Weekly. Using the existing Kylo Ren body the figure will come with a revised unmasked head sculpt, as well as Kylo's own mask. He will also come with the melted Darth Vader helmet, the triple blade light saber and a particularly impressive First Order red banner and stand. The figure will be available from the Forbidden Planet booth which is being shared with Hasbro. The US price is listed at $34.99 for Kylo, but usually considering the event is in London no £ value has been confirmed - direct conversion would put the figure at £26.39. There is no details as yet on the packaging, this will be confirmed later. I suspect that the packaging and then some element of the pack (probably the First Order stand) will be the exclusive element and this Kylo will most likely hit the standard range at some point in 2016/17. Hasbro have also confirmed that the exclusive Kylo will also be available at their booth at SDCC with limited stock for US customers on Hasbro Toy Store after both shows.

NECA's Aliens Creature pack has arrived earlier than expected and is now on sale in NECA's own Amazon and eBay stores for US customers at $19.99 + shipping. The listings have given us some better images of the packaged product. Sadly there is no option to ship these outside of the US as yet, but expect wider stocks to hit very soon.

NECA tweeted a couple of behind the scenes Predator images this week. The first a test shot of their upcoming Ultimate "An early look at Ultimate City Hunter for #prednesday. See what upgrades you can spot here, not final WIP shown" - Randy Falk, NECA (via Twitter) And following this was this image of 8 new test shot figure arriving at NECA "Bonus image for #prednesday - how 8 brand new Predator test shots arrived the other day. Like xmas in the studio" - Randy Falk, NECA (via Twitter) Fans were quick to analyse the image and identify Clan Leader, Stalker, Broken Tusk, Scarface as well as the two Ultimate figures - Jungle Hunter from Predator and City Hunter from Predator 2. The other figures remain a mystery at present.

NECA have shown off the proposed box design and art-work for their Ultimate T1 Police Station Assault Terminator. The figure is on track to hit stores in August.
