After announcing their 1/12 WWE figures of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, it seems the next WWE Superstar to join the SH Figuarts stable will be Triple H. This blurry image is doing the rounds currently on social media. Whether this is a sneakly snapped SDCC picture is unclear. We will hopefully find out more when SDCC opens....

As we speculated there is another SDCC Hasbro Star Wars exclusive, and it is Rogue One based. What we didnt expect was that it is the Jyn Erso figure in special collectors packaging rather than one of the troopers. One of the busiest booths across the 3-days, we managed to go round on the last day and we were in awe of these. Also for a brilliant cause in the shape of the Make a Wish Foundation

One of the best teams of people at the event, with loads on display. They were also demonstrating their droids, both in their booth area and out on the floor. And engaging the kids with RC models round the back for the little ones to drive around.

This white and green robot was seen rolling around Mos Eisley near Luke's landspeeder when the Imperial Sandtroopers and Stormtroopers came to ask about various droids they were looking for. You know how that story ends, but did you also know that this figure represents a droid design that was removed from the movie during the Special Edition edits of 1997? It's true! We confirmed in May that an SH Figuarts Harley Quinn 1/12 figure was hitting stores later this year. Although no release date has been confirmed, we do now have a raft of promotional images. The figure will come with her signature baseball bat, a pistol and three alternative faces.

After asking a number of fans sites to capture, compile and send in their votes, StarWars.com have now revealed which characters have made the final 6 character short list for the 2016 Fan's Choice. The winner, revealed at SDCC this coming weekend, will be made in 6 inch Black Series for release in 2017. Dengar is the only movie based character who made the final cut. He is joined by Captain Rex, who feels like a "wasted" choice/vote as Hasbro already confirmed a Rex figure is in the pipeline. Starkiller, from the Force Unleashed Video Game, is always high on any fans list and is a strong contender for the title. The remaining 3 are all classed as Legends characters, based on the old Expanded Universe material. Mara Jade's appeal is obvious and like the recent re-canonisation of Admiral Thrawn there is still an option for Mara Jade to return to the official canon. Darth Talon would arguably be a spectacular figure from a display point of view. The final choice, Jaina Solo, appears to be borne out of some concerted effort by dedicated fans and fan groups to bring her back into some prominence - particularly as The Force Awakens essentially removed her and twin brother Jacen from the Star Wars Universe. The two figures from last years vote who were yet to make it to figure form, The Gamorrean Guard and General Grievous, have both missed out. In a real reverse of voting, the expanded side of the Star Wars universe (EU, Books and Games) represent 66% of this years shortlist. Last year they held just 13% with one figure out of a shortlist of 7 - granted that character went on to win. So far, at the time of posting, Darth Talon is in a slim lead. "The poll will be open right up until Hasbro’s San Diego Comic-Con Star Wars panel on Friday, July 22, at 12 p.m. PT, where a winner will be announced" (that's 8pm UK time on Friday 22nd July) Please vote wisely.
