Seen briefly in a Mezco One:12 brochure at Toy Fair 2019, Mezco have now announced the full details for their 6 inch One:12 Marvel's Moon Knight figure. Moon Knight will include two head options and to add further variation there are two hood options - one up and one down. Also included are various hand options and a wealth of weapons. These include his staff, crescent blade, grappling hook baton and nunchucks. The usual Mezco One:12 display stand finishes off the release. Moon Knight is down for a release between September and November 2019. UK preorders should open soon around the £80 mark. The One:12 Collective Moon Knight is presented in a fitted suit with 3D crescent insignia and removable hoods. The mystically-enhanced vigilante comes complete with two head portraits and a range of combat weapons including a crescent blade, staff, nunchucks, and a grappling hook baton. During a mission in Sudan, Marc Spector was left to die in the desert by the hands of a bloodthirsty terrorist. Discovered by locals, Spector was brought to a tomb and placed at the foot of a statue of the moon god, Khonshu. After being pronounced dead, Spector arose suddenly, claiming Khonshu had restored him to life. Donning a cloak taken from Khonshu's statue, Spector became Moon Knight, delivering vengeance in Khonshu’s name.

Checkout the packaging design for NECA's next Alien/Predator release, the Alien vs Predator video game 2-pack of Dutch and Linn. The pack is due to ship on the 14th of May. Expect it to hit the UK about 4-6 weeks after that if we use current form as a guide.

SH Figuarts are also turning their attention to Spider-Man Homecoming, with two figures scheduled for release in Summer 2019. Up first is a re-release of the Homecoming Spider-Man. The suit appears again in Far from Home, so a re-release does make sense. He will come with the mobile phone and backpack and is due for a July 2019 release. Following this in August 2019, we get the updated suit with darker colouring. This figure will be accessorized with a number of web firing add-ons. The promo images also indicate either different head options or potentially swap out eye lenses to create different looks for your Spider-Man.

SH Figuarts have released some promo images of their September release of the PS4 Spider-Man figure, based on the PS4 game released in 2018. The figure comes with web bombs, mobile phone and a Spider-Drone. A stand is also included, and what looks like an innovative clear stand that attaches to a vertical surface for wall climbing poses.

The new McFarlane Game of Thrones figures have suddenly appeared at Game stores in the UK. This is of course a pleasant surprise to find more McFarlane merchandise on the high street. The price is reasonable too at £19.99 each. One to look for on your next visit to Game if you are hunting these down.

As Avengers Endgame hits cinema's, SH Figuarts have released the promotional images for their 1/12 Endgame Hawkeye/Ronin figure from the movie. Clint will arrive in October 2019 and is packed with two bows and a quiver for both neutral and arrow firing poses.

Further to the magazine scan earlier this month, SH Figuarts have released the full promotional imagery for their 1/12 scale Boba Fett from Return of the Jedi. Everyone's favourite Bounty Hunter will be released in September 2019 and will come with his blaster and a flight stand.

MAFEX have released the promotional images for their 1/12 Shazam movie figure. While pre-orders are not yet open, the images do confirm the content of the figure. Shazam will come with three head portraits of Zachary Levi. He also get his mobile phone, as well as a takeaway container and drinks cup. Also included are a variety of FX parts that are attached to hands, with others that can clip onto the body. The cape looks soft goods, but we will have to wait for confirmation on this. The figure is due for a February 2020 release with pre-orders to open soon.

Over the past few years, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans in the UK and worldwide have been looking enviously at the US and particularly at the 7 inch scale Turtle product that has been released by NECA. The 7 inch NECA figures are part of a licencing deal with the master toy licencee Playmates and this held back worldwide release of the figures and kept them as either US convention exclusives or sold only in stores in the US - Gamestop and Target. It seems the situation has now changed, and it all started with this teaser image from NECA. Soon after the UK independents started listing the 7 inch scale TMNT 2-packs for pre-order. These 2-packs include a Turtle and a Villian and have been exclusive to Target in the US. The UK retail price seems to be around £49.99 and the 2-packs are due for release some time in August 2019. NECA have since released an official statement confirming that the agreement for distribution is worldwide and all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle product, even previous exclusives, are potential for worldwide release at some stage. NECA first acquired the TMNT license in 2016 and has produced an expansive line of collector products based on the franchise’s movies and animated series, including action figures, prop replicas, accessories, collectibles and more. Until now, NECA items have only been available in the U.S., and this expansion into international markets will bring NECA’s TMNT product to fans around the world. “Bringing our Turtle product to fans worldwide is something we have wanted for years. Thanks to our great partnership with Nickelodeon, we are so grateful to finally give loyal international Turtle fans – who have been supporting our TMNT line since its inception – an opportunity to collect this fantastic range,” said Randy Falk, NECA’s director of product development. The question now is that will those gorgeous 1990 movie Turtles follow suit into the UK and Worldwide?

The small Godzilla King of the Monsters sets have been on sale at Smyths Toys for a few weeks now. On today's trip we found a new addition to the shelf in the guise of the enormous 40 inch long Godzilla figure from Jakks Pacific. This giant Godzilla dwarfs the King Kong figure from Skull Island and is priced at £59.99. The set is articulated, including the jaw. And the box is even designed so that Godzilla is emerging from the water - a clever way to hide the tail which is a separate piece in the box.

The next 1/12 SH Figuarts Star Wars release seems to be confirmed by this magazine scan as the Return of the Jedi Boba Fett. Fett will be released in September 2019 and will come with one of the SH Figuarts flight stands with built in compartment for the figures spare parts and accessories. We await more details

MAFEX will be releasing an updated version of their 1/12 Homecoming Spider-Man figure in early 2020. Named as the 1.5 version, it is unclear at this stage what exactly is updated from the original - although there may be some new mask options and the head looks a better likeness to Tom Holland. The magazine scan doesn't give too much more info at this stage, so we await the official images and released details.
