NECA is thrilled to announce a new collaboration with renowned director, Guillermo del Toro​! Following the announcement of the Storm Collectibles Cyrax 1/12 figure from Mortal Kombat, it was announced this week that Big Bad Toy Store will be carrying an exclusive version of the figure. The exclusive carries the same items and parts as the standard release - but on top will include a further FX piece representing Cyrax's Helicopter Fatality move. Like the standard release, Cyrax will come with alternative hands as well the Cyrax Bomb and Energy Net. The exclusive is also scheduled for an October 2019 release. "A skilled Motswana warrior, Cyrax relies on his natural fighting ability, his chi, to carry out Lin Kuei missions. He is proud to serve, but when the Grand Master initiates a program to convert the clan into cyborgs, Cyrax resists. He is reluctant to lose his humanity, which he believers is more effective than any mechanical augmentation. He has contemplated leaving the clan, fearing that it is no longer an organization of honourable assassins."

We've known about Hasbro's Star Wars San Diego exclusives for some time, and saw the Power Rangers announcement recently. Now we now the Marvel Legends SDCC 2019 exclusive (there may be more) as this wonderful Vintage carded comic book Hulk figure, complete with the 80th Anniversary logo for 2019. The figure was announced by Yahoo "As we learned in Avengers: Endgame, Bruce Banner’s giant green alter ego is more about the brains than the brawn these days. While we love his new look — particularly those glasses — it’s nice to recall a pre-Professor Hulk time when he was more about the smashing than the conversing. Hulk’s angry early years are perfectly preserved in a new six-inch scale figure—it measures in at 8.5”—that the big brains at Hasbro designed exclusively for attendees at San Diego Comic-Con." Hulk stands an impressive 8.5 inches tall and he comes with a crushed pipe accessory in case he needs extra help with smashing. The figure will be on sale at SDCC 2019 at the Hasbro booth for $34.99 and then afterwards via Hasbro Pulse. As with most Hasbro exclusives there should be some avenue for UK customers via the fan channel - so keep an eye on the independent specialists for listings and pre-orders.

Mezco have announced a further Summer 2019 Exclusive in the guise of Moon Knight, Crescent Edition. This is a tweaked version of the general release Moon Knight, with the Crescent edtion coming with his darker suit giving a real contrast to the figure with tones of black and white. Apart from the recolouring, the rest of the release is identical to the standard version with alternative head, swap out hands, weaponry and the cloak hood with pieces to display it up and down. Pre-orders opened at 6pm (UK time) on the 26th June and the item sold out soon after. If you did order it then you will receive the figure sometime in August/September. Further stocks will be on sale at SDCC 2019. Moon Knight is at his strongest during a full moon – gaining super speed, agility, invisibility, and glimpses of astral planes. The Entertainer has had a few tasty Star Wars bargains over the last few months, and we recently highlighted they might have a few more coming into stock soon with listings on their website for the Black Series exclusive Solo Chewbacca, Rey & Crait Set, Kylo & Throne Room Set and the Stormtrooper with blast FX parts. While we wait for these to (hopefully) drop into stock, The Entertainer have listed two more exciting items as coming soon on the website. The first is the SDCC 2018 Black Series set of Han Solo and the Mynock. This is priced currently at £59.99 - but expect The Entertainer to slash this once it arrives in stores. We'd expect somewhere round £30. The other set is the other SDCC 2018 Black Series release, the Centrepiece featuring Rey and an exclusive Kylo Ren figure with an water mister for steam effect. This has a £79.99 price tag, we'd therefore expect £40 or so when it lands. You can sign up for notifications of these coming into stock on the Entertainer website, but based on previous form these may well show up in stores well before that.

NECA's first fan event is currently taking place at Yestercades in New Jersey. A selection of figures are on display including a trio of what look to be new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 7 inch figures. Slash had been seen way back in 2017 at SDCC, but this is a revised sculpt and decor for the character based on his appearance in the animated series and that means he could well be heading into one of the new animated series 2-packs currently in Target stores in the US. Leatherhead and Shredder look to have the video game style decor and could be a two pack or individual releases somewhere in NECA's release calendar. We await full details from the NECA team. Following on from news breaking about Medicom MAFEX's new Batman "Hush" figure, the official promotional images have now been released. Batman "Hush" will arrive in April 2020 and will include three head options - masked and stern, masked and angry and unmasked. The body will include a soft goods cape and swap out hand options. Accessories will be grappling gun, a second grappling gun that has been fired with extended cable and grapple - and two batarangs.

Hasbro have released a new image of their Star Wars Black Series 6 inch San Diego Comic Con Exclusive Kenner Boba Fett. The image differs slightly to the original promo carded image revealed at Star Wars Celebration. And we can see now that Boba will come with his blaster and an E11 blaster - a nod back to the original release where Boba came with an Imperial Blaster. The packaging includes an Empire Strikes Back 40th anniversary logo, and should be the same that will be used on a wave(s) of 40th Anniversary figures which we expect to be announced at SDCC. The figure will be sold at SDCC 2019 and after the show to US collectors via Hasbro Pulse. We would hope/expect some stock to be available to UK and overseas collectors via the Hasbro Fan Channel.

Super7 have announced that they will be launching a new line of 7 inch action figures - starting with figures of the Toxic Crusader, Voltron and Ren and Stimpy. The figures are a good likeness to their on screen counter-parts, with what looks like a decent amount of articulation - although someway from being super-articulated. The figures are priced at $35-$40 which converts to roughly £27.50 - £31.50 in GBP. There is an international shipping option, but you will be liable for all custom charges when these ship. McFarlane have released two new promotional images of their upcoming Doom Slayer figure. The Doom Slayer is a 7 inch scale figure produced in conjunction with Bethesda and ID. He will be packed with his Super Shotgun as well as parts to have both extended and retracted sheathed arm blade. There will also be the usual McFarlane figure stand. Hasbro have shared new images from their upcoming Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary 2-pack of Korg and The Grandmaster - as seen in Thor : Ragnarok Alongside these were new images also of the Captain America and Motorbike from the Riders series. This is not an MCU figure, but I suspect there will be some collectors who end up combining this bike with the 80th Anniversary WW2 MCU figure of Captain America.
