Hasbro had several new reveals to share with fans at the CCXP event in Brazil this week. For Marvel Legends, this included the reveal of three new figures. At the moment, we have a selection of promo images as shared on social media by Dan Yun. We will update this post and our comprehensive Marvel Legends Database once the full details are made available. The first of the CCXP reveals was another Marvel Cinematic re-pack featuring Spider-Man from No Way Home. Spidey will feature a second pair of webslinging hands and is a 2026 release alongside the recently announced Iron Man Mk3, with pre-orders live as of the 5th of December. Following a listing on eBay a few weeks ago, a new Hasbro Star Wars Black Series set for the Gamerverse series has been listed on Amazon for pre-ordering without any formal announcement or fuss, despite Hasbro attending and presenting at the CCXP event in Brazil. The two-pack features a Phase 1 Coruscant Guard Assault Clone Trooper vs a B1 'Training' Battle Droid Officer. Both of these figures featured in the Battlefront Video Games. The Clone Trooper comes with both blasters and a removable helmet while our Training Battle Droid has its blster. They are due to ship in April 2026. NECA have formally announced their first 7-inch scale figure from the 2025 Predator: Badlands movie. Dek, in his training gear, will include three face plates and a full helmeted head. You also get a selection of hands and all his weapons, including folded and extended swords, compound bow, combistick, and wrist blades. This is an Ultimate release in the closed box format with an opening front cover. It is a general releaase available from the NECA Store and NECA Stockists, and it is due to ship in Q2 of 2026 (April - June). “The guns apply a mild and harmless neural anaesthetic. For the record, my name is Sergeant Zogroth. And I am Constable Zreeg.” The Doctor Who Vortex Collection is Character Options' own exclusive Doctor Who figures featuring premium decor or additional features. It launched in 2024 with figures of the 15th Doctor  and Ruby Sunday . Five sets were then planned for 2025, although one of these is now pushed into 2026. Following on from the earlier release of The Fourteenth Doctor and the Meep , the final set of 2025 is from the same story The Star Beast and features the Wrarth Warriors as a two-pack. The set follows the established packaging design for the Vortex collection with a white box with a cut-off angled corner and with a white base overlaid with a TARDIS image in one corner, the 60th Anniversary logo for Doctor Who in the top left, and a rainbow vortex design around the figure window. The blue diamond call outs continue from previous release formats, confirming the scale at 5.5 inches, the contents, which includes two blaster accessories, and the Doctor era from which these are taken. Rather than call this a Wrarth Warrior 2-Pack, Character have named the two characters as Constable Zreeg and Sergeant Zogroth. The back of the box is text only and goes into an incredible level of detail, starting with the set itself and the Wrarth Warriors' origins in the Doctor Who comics before moving on to talk in full about the storyline for The Star Beast. The back of the box also includes more diamond call-outs, confirming the’high decor’ finish of these Vortex releases. The contents also reference another feature of the figures not mentioned on the front, a light pipe feature in the head of each Wrarth to create a light-up eye function when backlit.  Compared to the packaging for the Fourteenth Doctor & The Meep (right) While the packaging design remains consistent, the size of the box for the Wrarth is increased marginally on the width and more so on the height to accommodate the figures.  The box is a collector-friendly format, opening from the side panel and the inner tray sliding out in full. The figures are tied into place with very visible white cotton ties, which still feel unnecessary for an online-only item that needs no security barriers to possible theft. Behind the figure is a printed background from the Star Beast episode featuring a print of two Wrarth Warriors on the street.  Also included in the inner tray are two oval-shaped clear stands. Be careful removing these from the tray as there are reports of them snapping easily. These are something we don’t normally see in the Doctor Who line, but as we will see with the Wrarth Warriors, their unique physiology makes these stands an absolute necessity for display and we have used them throughout our review.  The two Wrarth Warriors share the exact same sculpt and design, despite the blurb talking about a ‘unique carapace design’ which is actually only some variation in the paint decor to create slightly different looks. There is no clear way of defining which is Zreeg and which is Zogroth, without comparing to the episode itself and in particular, the ‘court’ scene where the two Wrarth stand side by side and are questioned. Zogroth on the right of that shot has roughly the same markings as the darker brown washed figure, while there is also good correlation for the markings and spots for Zreeg, who has lighter brown chest markings, although neither configuration is 100% accurate to the Wrarth costumes and props. Zreeg is built on component cast parts of an inner green insectoid body, and outer bone coloured carapace parts that encompass the chest, groin, legs, and the left arm. This arm ends in a large serrated crab-like claw, while the right arm is more of a mass of tentacles holding the Wrarth blaster.  The green base plastic includes sculpted textures and has a dark wash over the top. The bone coloured outer parts are very bone-like in their rounded curves and serations and are also washed, but now with a brown finish. The insectoid head includes an exposed mouth and neck in green with the darker wash and a visible thin line of a mouth. Over this is a bone ‘helmet’ of sorts, which wraps the chin and the two bulging red translucent eyes. Two antennae protrude from the top of the helmet, and between them is the round translucent red ‘light pipe’ that allows an outside light source applied from above to give the eyes a light-up effect. Sergeant Zogroth is, as mentioned earlier, the exact same figure in terms of the sculpt, construction and much of the paint apps. Zogroth has the same green inner skin tone with black wash and bone external carapace parts. It is only on the chest that we see the variation, with Zogroth having darker and more defined markings, including a larger number of defined dark pitted spots.  The heads are also identical, save for some variations in the wash, with the same antennae and the light-up red eyes with the upper light pipe.  The stands are pegged with two pegs, and these slot very securely into holes on each of the Wrarth Warrior’s hoof-like feet. This creates a stable base for display, and you can vary this by using one peg only, which allows one leg to move outward and into a more dynamic position.  The other accessory, noted on the box, is the blaster. These are supplied already in the Wrarth’s right hands, and these can then be removed. These black stubby weapons are seed-like in their shape and include a trigger of sorts, and with the emitter picked out in silver. The fit into the tentacled hands is secure, and shaped to almost look part of the figure when connected.  Articulation is designed around the unique Wrarth Warrior physiology and sees some enhancements to the Character line, which has relied on pegged joints for a considerable amount of time. There are 15 joints in total, and no signs of a peg across the entire body. Instead, we have the more modern ball joint type of connection, which allows movement at each of the Wrarth’s key natural joints.  For the legs, this is at the ankle, lower knee, upper knee, and hip and providing the stand remains engaged, the legs can vary somewhat in position to replicate the Wrarth walking, marching, running, or planting a stance to fire its weapon.  The arms are a little more obscure in the way they sit compared to a human, with a shoulder that starts further down from where we would imagine the shoulder to be. Under this is an ‘elbow’ of sorts with a bend and rotation, and to the left hand, we then get a hinged claw allowing the appendage to be opened and closed. The articulation concludes with a waist joint and a neck joint.  The Wrarth’s movements are more restricted than most figures, using smaller movements to create some variations in posing. As well as variations in the legs, the arms can be extended to some firing positions and attacking options with the claw. The torso is good for rotation, but less so for leaning forward or back, while the neck has some angled options but due to the shaping, when it's rotated, it starts to look up at an odd angle.  Fourteenth Doctor and Meep figures from the Star Beast Vortex Set (2025) Height-wise wise these are big figures at 18cm each (over 7 inches), and therefore they are a good couple of inches taller than the Doctor himself and similar human-sized characters. While not as big as the static Fendahleen or the Drashig, these are on par with some of the largest articulated figures in the line to date, like the Giant Robot, Axon/Krynoid, and the new series Pyrovile.  The Wrarth Warriors retail at £44.99 direct from Character, so reflect a price of circa £22.50 each, which is not too bad for a 7-inch collectors figure with this level of articulation and an accessory. The only minor criticism we could throw at the chosen contents is around the lack of the wings we see the Wrarth use at one point which would have been good plug-in parts or the staffs with flags that the other Wrarth Warriors are seen with at the end of the episode. The latter is probably something we will see from the 3rd party creators in due course. The set reflects both the opportunity for two new characters - once you determine who is who - or for an army building set for larger Wrarth Warrior groups. While naturally they sit with the Fourteenth Doctor and The Meep, they could also work in a Classic Era display with the Fourth Doctor, considering their first appearance in 1980 in the Doctor Who magazine.  As the Vortex Edition line establishes itself, releases like this with a brand-new figure are more than welcome after a number of years where releases have been predominantly repaints and tweaks. Out of the four released in 2025, this one is on par with its companion set featuring the Doctor and the Meep , and the recent release of the Master  and is much improved on the first set featuring the tweaked 3rd Doctor  with a new head and 1:1 Sonic Screwdriver.  Despite the upgrades in sculpt, decor and articulation, the Wrarth Warriors do not look out of place with any of the other Doctor Who figures, and this is a testament to Character's commitment to the line some 20 years after it began. More of the same for 2026 please, and I look forward to seeing how this line continues to develop and how it further expands this long-running Doctor Who line in new directions. "Well, you said I'm all-powerful, stronger than all the Avengers combined, which includes at least one god, so..." The April 2025 review of Marvel’s Thunderbolts* brought together a mismatched team that would, by the end of the movie, be badged as The New Avengers. Each member of the team, excluding Bob, already had a Marvel Legends figure but just ahead of the movie release, Hasbro revealed they would be releasing some two-packs for the movie, bringing three of the main characters up to date in terms of their Thunderbolts look, with the final slot being given over to the new character of Sentry. The usual format for Marvel Legends movie releases is to have a ‘launch wave’ on shelves ahead of the movie release, but for the Thunderbolts, the figures were only announced ahead of the movie, and collectors would then need to wait for late Summer 2025 for the sets to be shipped.  Alongside the release of Yelena Belova and Red Guardian , the second set featured an updated John F. Walker alongside new cinematic addition, Sentry. The set comes in the standard squared-off Marvel Legends two-pack box, and features a black base colour and a yellow accent colour, which is used as ‘glitched graphics’ elements across the main front of the box under the window. The Thunderbolts* logo is also a crisp yellow, but the character name text is a bold white font with shadow. Like Yelena in the accompanying set, Walker is given his full name of John F. Walker and not the comic book moniker of U.S. Agent. Sentry, however, is given the name and not Bob. The left-hand side is a wrap-around of the window, while the right-hand side includes images of both characters. These images, which also sit on the back of the box, are done as a shadowed black and white illustration, building on the shadowy background of the characters. On the back and next to each image, is a short paragraph of yellow background text for each character detailing the situation both Walker and Sentry find themselves in, leading into the Thunderbolts* storyline. The backing card for the figures finishes the yellow theme, and includes a topographical design that further enhances the shadowy spycraft theme of the film and characters at the start of the movie. John Walker’s suit is not dramatically changed in Thunderbolts compared to how it evolved through the events of The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, from the new Captain America outfit, to the darker suit seen in the end credits as he transitioned to the shadowy U.S. Agent under the guidance of La Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine. The suit is cast in a dark blue colouring throughout with painted red and white stripes on the panelled chest section, with further red trim on the gloves, belt, and legs. The belt and boots also feature silver detailing, as do the straps on that central chest section. The shoulders feature grey blank panels where the costume used to house the US flag, and you can also see the outline of the old ‘star’ icon, which is no longer prominent on the costume. John is carrying a holstered weapon on his right hip. This is cast in a dull black and plugged into the thigh, with sculpted straps on the leg itself. This is a single piece, and the handgun is not an accessory and cannot be removed.  vs the 2021 Falcon & Winter Soldier Releases (centre & right) While Yelena and Red Guardian both got full figure updates for their Thunderbolts* release, John Walker’s entire body is the same as was released in 2021 for The Falcon & The Winter Soldier. The base was established with the original John Walker Captain America  figure, and then released again as the darker suit through much of the events of the Disney+ series. This one was badged as the U.S. Agent figure , although the actual costume worn by John as he becomes U.S. Agent in the final scenes of the series was never replicated in full until this Thunderbolts* release, where we finally get the white trim. Using the same body brings with it the same problems as 2021, notably the fixed holstered gun and clunky hip joints, but also some benefits in that the heads from across all three releases can be interchanged, as can the hands and the weaponry. The headsculpt on our Thunderbolts* release is new, and while the body is unchanged since the 2021 releases, you can see the steps forward the Legends line has taken in the four years since with the likeness of actor Wyatt Russell even under the dark blue of the helmet. Facial printing is used for the eyes, and the facial hair which has grown during his time as a Mercenary and the helmet itself has lost the central ‘Star-A’ icon and is plain and simple with hints of the old Captain America suit on the sides with two silver winged panels.  When we consider that Red Guardian got an unmasked head in the other two-pack for Thunderbolts* and we consider the significant re-use on this figure it is disappointing not to have a Russell unmasked head included. What we do get is an alternative pair of red-gloved hands, allowing you to choose from a pair of clenched fists for fighting hand-to-hand, and a pair of gripping hands with trigger fingers.That all sounds great, until you realise Walker does not come with any guns as accessories other than the fixed one on his thigh, so while he uses these in the movie, you will either be sourcing weapons from another Legends figure or the secondary market to replicate Walker’s way of fighting.  We do get his new shield, forged in the after-credits of The Falcon & The Winter Soldier. This is a revision of the existing shield from John Walker, removing the star from the centre and adding some scratches and damage into the cast plastic. The piece is coloured in a dark gun-metal finish with red inner and outer rings. Silver is then applied over the top to further imitate scratches.  The connection to the figure is by that old Legends format of a wrist clip that can then pivot 90 degrees and turn into a plug for the rear of the figure. The plug into the socket of the John Walker figure works fine for a slung pose. The clip, however, has exactly the same issue as the 2021 release in that it was originally designed for a slimmer wrist, and it doesn’t completely engage over either of Walker’s bulkier wrist bracers. While it will hold in place, it is being over-stretched to do so and I would almost 100% guarantee that over time this will snap completely.  Articulation is pinless, and there are 19 points in total. Walker is missing any butterfly shoulders and also comes with a single joint neck. The torso does feature an ab-crunch and waist swivel, while the arms are mobile enough for fight poses with the shield or hand-to-hand. The legs are secure with a wide-ranging hip and a double-joint knee that allows kneeling and crouching positions. The ankle rockers seem to have very wide-spaced ratchets, and there is play between ratchets. That being said, the figure is stable enough once posed.  Sentry is a brand-new figure, replicating the suit Bob is presented with when he finally accepts his powers and begins his first mission as a Super Hero. This is a golden yellow base colour with much of the parts cast in this base finish, inclusive of a sculpted active-wear fabric. Dark blue trim is included across the suit, painting onto sculpted lines with a good level of accuracy. There is more expansive blue in the neck piece, the bracers, the boots, and the belt. These are all also trimmed in gold to some degree, with the biggest application on the separate belt piece with its stylised ‘S’ logo. Senty’s cape extends from the rear of the neck section in a slightly lighter textured blue. This is a soft plastic, shaped to replicate the folds of the cape and left in a relatively neutral hung position off the frame of the figure. The headsculpt is a good likeness to actor Lewis Pulman and reflects his more stoic and confident mannerisms as Sentry, as opposed to his Bob persona from the first half of the movie. Facial printing brings out the realism in the eyes in particular, while the slicked back blonde hair is coloured with darker highlights. Senty has no accessories on screen, so the only inclusions with the figure are a second pair of hands. That gives you the option of alternating between combinations of clenched fists or open hands.  Articulation is worked into the lines of the suit, is entirely pinless, and comes in with a total count of 19. Like Walker, there are no obvious butterfly shoulders and the neck is fixed at the base and is only joined where it meets the head. Senty moves from a T-joint ab-crunch to a ball joint mid-chest with limited movement. The waist is a simple rotation, and on our purchased figure is prone to popping out coming away from his waist and legs. There is sufficient movement in the arms for a number of gestures, either gesticulating, fighting or using his multiple powers.  The legs provide a stable base, but are held in check by the use of the plastic cape. The figure can be posed in flight mode with an aftermarket stand, and the ankles in particular can pivot to point downward as we might see when Sentry is flying.  The Sentry and John F. Walker two-pack is sadly a little way behind its companion piece featuring Yelena and Red Guardian. While that set had two brand new figures, an alternative head for one of them, weapons for both and alternative hands, this set had no alternative heads where one would have been perfect for and unmasked Walker. There are no weapons for Walker either, despite including trigger finger hands, and there was not even an attempt to update the old leg holster to a working version. When you consider also that the Walker body is from a four year old release, with a new paint job and the shield - while updated - still has the flaw where it wont engage correctly with the wrist due to a sizing issue, then you do start to feel a little short changed.  There are some positives with Walker, considering you can now swap heads and hands with the older figures, and that the paint work on the suit is now the accurate U.S. Agent version with its white stripes.  Sentry, as a debut figure into the MCU collection, is pretty impressive and ticks most boxes for sculpt, overall likeness and articulation. Again, purely on the volume of accessories in the Yelena/Red Guardian box, we might have expected a bit more for our newest hero. A second head might have been nice, or extra hands, or even a flight stand. Like most of the team oriented MCU figures, the Thunderbolts* are going to be defined the most once assembled as either the crew we meet at the start of the movie, or as the New Avengers we see them become at the end. So far, we have four of the six, with Bucky and Ghost key to the New Avengers line up. At the time of writing, these have not been announced, rumoured or even talked about by Hasbro and that may hold people back from buying a team they do not know if they can complete. While Ghost and Bucky do exist in the MCU collection, neither is in a costume that relates in any way to what they wear in Thunderbolts* Beyond Bucky and Ghost, I feel the wider movie collection for Thunderbolts* also needs an updated Taskmaster, a Valentino and (most likely to get released) a Void version of Sentry, which is very achievable from his general Sentry but would need a well-thought-out and executed paint job to replicate the shadowy black and glowing eyes that we see on screen.  For now, if you do want to pick up Senty and John F. Walker, they are available on Hasbro Pulse and across Hasbro retailers. The price is £49.99 at RRP, but this cost is starting to drop with the sets seen as low as £43 on Amazon  (affiliate link) at the time of writing. “Yelena, being the hero, there is no higher calling.” The April 2025 review of Marvel’s Thunderbolts* brought together a mismatched team that would, by the end of the movie, be badged as The New Avengers. Each member of the team, excluding Bob, already had a Marvel Legends figure but just ahead of the movie release, Hasbro revealed they would be releasing some two-packs for the movie, bringing three of the main characters up to date in terms of their Thunderbolts look, with the final slot being given over to the new character of Sentry . The usual format for Marvel Legends movie releases is to have a ‘launch wave’ on shelves ahead of the movie release, but for the Thunderbolts, the figures were only announced ahead of the movie, and collectors would then need to wait for late Summer 2025 for the sets to be shipped.  Yelena Belova and Alexis Shostokov were included in one of the two sets, updating both characters from their original releases for Black Widow (2021) and Yelena’s cameo in Hawkeye (2021). The pair are packed into a standard squared-off Marvel Legends two-pack box, which features a black base colour and a yellow accent colour, which is used as ‘glitched graphics’ elements across the main front of the box under the window. The Thunderbolts* logo is also a crisp yellow, but the character name text is a bold white font with shadow. Yelena is named as Yelena Belova, with no reference to Black Widow, while Alexis is named as Red Guardian. This is a cast green grey with built-in sculpted textures, while also inclusive of cloth folds and seams. The upper shoulder section is picked out in green and includes some nondescript yellow decals on each shoulder. The wrist stingers are painted in black, as are the fingerless gloves, with the stinger wrist devices also featuring silver highlights. The belt is also black with a painted gold buckle and silver straps. The belt sits angled to one side, with a thigh holster running from the belt and down the right leg. The costume concludes with a pair of black combat boots.  The head sculpt is glorious and captures an impressive likeness to actor Florence Pugh, enhanced with the usual facial print tech application. The hairpiece is also accurate to the movie, cropped short with the fringe brushed to one side. The majority of the hair is a light blonde, while darker roots are picked out underneath.  vs the 2020 Black Widow Movie Release (right) and the 2021 Hawkeye Disney+ release (right) There is no comparison in terms of quality to the previous Yelena releases. It builds on the original 2020 figure from the 2021 Black Widow movie  while doing away with the white of the suit and giving Yelena much better proportions and likeness. Similarly, it improves considerably on the headsculpt from the 2023 Hawkeye release , and also fixes several issues that this release carried, including being far too tall and having some slightly odd posing positions, thanks to the joint orientation. This new Yelena comes with a pair of clenched fists for hand-to-hand fighting poses. These swap in and out easily enough with the alternative pair of gripping hands. Yelena features 17 points of articulation, all pinless and worked into the lines of the costume where possible. The legs feature a solid ankle rocker, a double-joint knee, and the usual thigh swivel and hip joint. There is sufficient leg movement to allow Yelena to kneel, crouch, or execute a number of dynamic and fighting stances - the more extreme of which may require a stand. The main trunk of the figure is inclusive of a torso ball joint to help with more action-oriented poses, while the neck is double-jointed to replicate a good range of mannerisms and poses. The arms do not feature a butterfly joint, which is a miss, but otherwise the elbow joint bends well past the 90-degree mark and with the basic shoulder and wrist joints it can wield any of Yelena’s included weaponry. That weaponry starts with a basic handgun that can be holstered on the hip or held in either hand, with both gripping hands featuring a trigger finger. The gun itself is black plastic, lacks any detail and has zero paint application. The same is true of the combat knife, a small piece that is harder for Yelena to grip with the knife sitting rather than being held in the gripping hands. While not immediately obvious, there is a holster for the knife on the belt, but as per her configured weapons in Thunderbolts*,  it is positioned upside down, so we missed it when taking our gallery images.  The final weapons are the batons, which are also black cast and left plain in this base colour. They include a wider ridged grip section, and a smaller striking section with a large end pommel. These again fit in the single pair of gripping hands, while they can also be holstered in two loop fittings on the back of the figure.  Moving on to Red Guardian, this also replicates the suit he sports for much of the film. The key elements are cast in a deep red, with off-white detailing added around the shoulders, chest, torso, wrists, thighs and around the boots. The central star on the chest is painted in silver, while more silver is then applied to the suit buckles and the main buckle of the belt.  The figure features two head sculpts, the first a masked Red Guardian, complete with his red helmet to match the suit and featuring a smaller silver star on the forehead. Facial printing is used to create realism in the eyes, which are visible through the helmet, while the beard is picked out in different greys.  The unmasked head takes the helmet away, and reveals a full likeness of David Harbour in costume, complete with a very close-cropped shaved head, which uses photoreal printing to bring out the shaved scalp rather than painting it as a flat colour. Like the masked head, the beard is coloured, so there are variations in the greys. Again, this 2025 release is a considerable upgrade to the previous release from the Black Widow 2021 2-Pack  with Melina, which itself was an upgrade on Red Guardian from 2020  that suffered from a poor David Harbour likeness. Despite similarities, there is no re-use from the older figures with this Thunderbolts* Alexis fully updated to his new costume while also improving his proportions and overall aesthetics.  vs the 2021 Red Guardian 2-Pack release (right) Alexis comes with two sets of hands, with a pair of gripping hands, a closed right fist, and an open left clawed hand. This allows you to have Red Guardian in a fighting position, although a second left clenched fist would have been nice, and to have Alexis use his twin guns.  These guns are holstered around the back of Alexis' belt in working holsters. The guns themselves are black plastic with basic details to pick out the textured grip and the components of the barrel, but they lack any paint. The two gripped hands can hold a gun each, allowing Red Guardian to aim and fire one or both guns.  Articulation for Red Guardian is significantly higher than Yelena, with 22 points in total. The legs benefit from a solid set of ankle rockers, boot cut swivel, double joint knee, thigh swivel, and hip joint. These allow the figure to be securely posed in a number of fighting stances, while also allowing him to sit or kneel. The arms do include a bicep swivel alongside the elbow, wrist and shoulder, but like Yelena are missing a butterfly shoulder. The shoulder armour uses a similar design to some Star Wars armoured figures and is a softer plastic that is hinged to move with the arm when it's raised. The body features both a waist swivel and a torso joint, while the neck is jointed top and bottom.  The Thunderbolts* Marvel Legends 2-Packs had an RRP of £49.99, equivalent to the price of two single releases. Packing them together is a shrewd move considering previous iterations of all the Thunderbolts* returning characters have been peg-warmers. However, considering how well both Yelena and Red Guardian have been executed as brand new figures from the ground up, both figures are on par with any of the other movie/TV releases of the last year, including The Fantastic Four and Daredevil: Born Again.  Yelena comes with a wealth of weaponry, and it's probably greedy to want one extra hand for her throwing knife. Alexis, too, would have been a step closer to perfection with a pair of clenched fists rather than just the one.  Both figures are a joy to pose, from vanilla looks to action-oriented stances; they both have lots of character and demonstrate how far the Cinematic arm of the Marvel Legends figures has come in such a short time, considering it's only been four years since these two characters were last released, and the side-by-side comparison is night and day quality-wise. The only issue with the Thunderbolts* releases is one of team building with our four characters in play so far, and no further sets announced to bring us an updated Taskmaster, Ghost, or Bucky Barnes - or a figure of The Void. The latest Medicom MAFEX movie release opening for pre-orders is this new six-inch scale release of Sofia from John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum. Sofia will come with her dogs as posed figures (non-articulated). She is also armed with an assault rifle and three different handguns. Images have been circulated on various social media platforms for this month's Medicom MAFEX releases. They will be from their DC licence and include comic book themed figures of Batman from Batman: Hush and Ra's Al Ghul. Batman is a battle damaged variant of his appearance in Batman: Hush and includes three face portraits, and a soft goods cape. Other accessories include a sword, grappling rope, and batarangs. Ra's Al Ghul also features three different facial options as well as a sword. Both figures are set as October 2026 releases. Character Options has unveiled their final Doctor Who Vortex Edition Exclusive set for 2025, a new two-pack of the Wrarth Warriors as seen in the 14th Doctor special, The Star Beast, from 2023. The Wrarth Warriors are substantially taller than the normal Doctor Who figures, measuring 18.6cm tall each (about 7.25 inches). They include full articulation with a 'light pipe' function built into the heads so their eyes light up when lit by a light source from behind. The two Wrarth Warriors are more or less identical in sculpt, with some variation of paintwork. They are identified as seen in the episode as Constable Zreeg and Sergeant Zorgroth. While there are no additional accessories as scuh, their blaster weapons are detachable, and each figure includes a display stand. The set is available immediately, exclusively at the Character Options store, with a UK RRP of £44.99 with free shipping inside the UK. This “Vortex” set includes Wrarth Warrior figures of the two most identifiable Wrarth, Constable Zreeg and Sergeant Zogroth. Standing at 18.6cm tall, The Wrarth are around 50mm taller than the standard Doctor Who action figures. Each imposing Wrarth has multiple articulation points, a display stand, detachable blaster weapon accessory and 'light pipe' eyes. The two characters are distinguished by unique paint detailing and their individualised carapace front. With an armoured exoskeleton, astounding visual capabilities and a keen intelligence, the Wrarth are a biologically engineered species created by the Star Council as part of an intergalactic Police Force to hunt The Meep. This species originated from the 1980 Doctor Who Comic, as characters from ‘The Star Beast’ story written by Pat Mills and John Wagner and drawn by Dave Gibbons.
