McFarlane have released details of their Vendetta action figure from Fortnite, one of two releases planned for February 2020 - the other being Skully. As is quite often the case, we have had our first confirmation of a Diamond Select 7 inch action figure from the upcoming Black Widow Marvel Cinematic Universe movie by way of a shadowy silhouette listing on Big Bad Toy Store. Taskmaster will be in the 7 inch scale and have the standard 16 points of articulation. The listing does not give any details of any accessories - but his Shield at least should be a given. He is due for a June 2020 release, but this may be optimistic based on previous MCU releases. We should hopefully get to see Taskmaster at Toy Fair. At this stage their is now Widow figure listed, she may be to follow or may have been agreed as a Disney Store Exclusive - in which case we won't know anything until she turns up on Disney Store shelves. Diamond Select Toys will continue their Nightmare Before Christmas line of Select Action Figures with Series 9 coming in June 2020. NECA have teased this image of two new sculpted action figure heads for Ace Ventura, Pet Detective. The images have no reference for us to understand if this is for another 8 inch Ace, with soft goods tailored clothes (most likely!) or maybe, just maybe, it could be a 7 inch sculpted Ultimate release. The social chatter initial went down the route of this being Ace from his 2nd movie, When Nature Calls. However, for me it looks more like the hairstyle from the Asylum scenes in Pet Detective meaning he may well come in his shirt, shorts and tutu. Menkind can be a little over the RRP on action figures, but it is one of the few high street stores carrying collectible action figures from NECA and McFarlane. They are currently running an "up to 60% off" sale and this has led to some good prices and reductions on McFarlane stock. Menkind had the new Harry Potter figures for £20 each. The store I was in had Harry and Hermione. They also had new Borderlands figures at the same price. Following on from the Batman and Superman action figures from Batman Hush, Medicom have now released details of a third MAFEX figure in the line - a Hush Catwoman. Catwoman is down for an October 2020 release and will be number 123 in the MAFEX line. She will include three head options - including a full Selina Kyle sculpt with her goggles raised up on her forehead. There will be a number of hand options too and Catwoman will of course have her whip. Medicom have announced a new MAFEX 6 inch action figure release of Captain America, as seen in Avengers Infinity War in 2018. The figure, due for an October release, will come with two Chris Evans head sculpts. He will have two Wakandan shields which will fit on both arms. And he also comes with Corvus Glaives bladed weapon and Proxima Midnights staff. Mezco's One:12 Collective 6 inch action figure of Conan the Barbarian has been fully unveiled, with pre-orders now live and the figure having an estimate shipping date of between August and October of 2020. The figure is based on the Frank Frazetta paintings of Conan, as created by Robert E.Howard. The figure will include two head options, multiple hands and swap out clothing items such as a fur cloak, loin cloths, belts and neck chains.
