Along with the Alien & Predator licences that are new for Mezco in 2020, it seems the team have also secured the rights to produce One:12 action figures from the original Planet of the Apes movie saga. On display was a Doctor Zaius from what appears to be Beneath the Planet of the Apes. Like much of the Mezco lines we could be at least a year away from release, so watch this space for more details. One of the better kept secrets of Toy Fair 2020 was over at the Well Played Toy booth. They had confirmed last year a licence to produce action figures for Lost in Space - both the new Netflix series and the classic series. Well Played will be releasing a 4 inch and a 6 inch line and the first figures were on show at Toy Fair 2020. Our images below are from figures.com who have a much larger gallery of the Well Played Toy display - please give them a visit. The 6 inch line will include figures of The Robot, Dr Smith, Don West, John Robinson, Maureen Robinson, Penny Robinson, Judy Robinson and two versions of Will Robinson. There were also mockups for a Scarecrow. Each of the 6 inch figures is packed in a window box. The smaller line will feature the same characters and will be released on a blister card. The NECA Toony Terror line of 6 inch action figures has reached Series 4, and the new line up has been confirmed at Toy Fir 2020 in New York as Beetlejuice, Victor Crowley (Hatchet), Regan (The Exorcist) and Sam (Trick r' Treat). The Regan figure will come with an alternative head. The figures will be released in July 2020 and will arrive on blister packs with a a cut out background section for use on display. Series 4 of the adorably creepy Toony Terrors line will bring more stylized horror icons into the mix! NECA's Toony line will expand in 2020 from Toony Terrors into Toony Classics. This new branch will recreate classic movie and TV characters into the Toony 6 inch style. The line will launch in July 2020 with the Toony Classics of Bill and Ted from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. NECA is proud to introduce Toony Classics, a fun take on beloved characters from film and television. Starting off the line in a most resplendent way are the Wyld Stallyns themselves from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Standing approximately 6 inches tall, Bill and Ted's animated forms are akin to that of their 90s cartoon appearances. These two dudes come packed together rocking out on their favorite instruments. The next Jazwares Fortnite Legendary Series 6 inch action figure has been listed on Amazon US (paid link) as Sentinel, with stock already available. The Sentinel figures comes with an Airfoil Harvester, Hot Wings Back Bling and is armed with a combat shotgun, submachine gun and a storm flip. As teased ahead of Toy Fair 2020, NECA will be releasing an 8 inch clothed figure of John Nada from John Carpenter's They Live. NECA have released details of a new aurter scale Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure of Raphael. The figure is based on the classic cartoon from 1987 and Raph comes with his Sai's, a pizza slice and an opening Turtle Communicator. He is due for a July 2020 release. Cowabunga!
