The new Star Wars Black Series Deluxe release of Lord Starkiller from The Force Unleashed is now opening for pre-orders. The figure features Lord Starkiller, complete with a wired cape for posing. You also get extra clawed hands and six lightsaber hilts, each with a removable red blade. They can be worn around his belt on a series of hooks. Starkiller is releasing under the Gamerverse line and is number 30 in the Gamerverse Galaxy Collection. The figure opened for US pre-ordering on the 4th of February at Hasbro Pulse , and Fan Channel retailers like Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth . There is no US listing on Amazon despite the promo blurb. Release dates vary from July to August 2026. In the UK, pre-orders at all Fan Channel stockists and Hasbro Pulse won't go live until the 6th of February. However, an Amazon UK listing is already live for £33.99 with a June release date. The Star Wars Vintage Collection was the first of Hasbro's Star Wars lines to get a release from Maul: Shadow Lord with the reveal of Maul himself back in October at MCM Comic Con London. Now, following the first trailer, we have two more figures confirmed with the reveal on Hasbro's social channels of Marrok and the Eleventh Brother. Both figures include soft goods robes and double-bladed lightsabers. They are both packed onto Kenner-inspired cardbacks and are live for pre-order as of the 13th February 2026. Hasbro has announced a licensing collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, and their new Volton movie coming later this year. The press release, which you can read below, references that Hasbro intends to release action figures, toys, and roleplay items from the film. NECA have shared the following teaser image and confirmed they are bringing The Muppets into the NECA circle of action figure licences. The image includes the hands and arms of Kermit, Gonzo, and Fozzie This is the first of the licences previously held by Diamond Select Toys before they were wound up to move to another company. In this instance, the fact that NECA's parent company, Ad Populum, acquired Diamond Select Toys may have been a part of this new line for The Muppets. While we look forward to these new Muppets figures, we are also excited by what this might mean for other former-Diamond lines like Lord of the Rings. A raft of new G.I. Joe Classified Series Digital Render images for upcoming releases were shared across Hasbro's social media to mark G.I. Joe Day 2026 (1st of February). The images include Airtight, Hydro-Vlper, Cobra Overkill, and Ninja Force Zartan as single figures. We then have a two-pack of David 'Red Dog' Taputapu and Varujan 'Taurus' Ayvazyan to complete Sergeant Slaughter's team. And a Deluxe set of Zanya with a Dreadnok Chameleon Swamp Skier. The final reveal is a silhouette image marked on the social media post as Classified. Mezco are releasing a new One:12 Collective Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street. The 6-inch figure will feature the fully articulated One:12 Collective body with a tailored soft goods costume. Freddy comes with four head options, including one where the face can be removed to reveal a sculpted skull underneath. You also get a selection of hands, including two of this iconic clawed glove. The set also comes with a trashcan lid accessory and display stand with posing post. "I hate you!" Like Obi-Wan, the Revenge of the Sith release for Anakin Skywalker came very early in the life of the Star Wars Black Series, arriving in 2014  as part of the 4th wave of the line. The figure would go on to get an Archive release  in 2019 with an updated photo print face that was still impressive on both the normal and the included Sith head. It would also form the basis for the Attack of the Clones Anakin  in 2020, and the legs of the Clone Wars Anakin  in 2021. In 2025, Hasbro would revisit Revenge of the Sith for the 20th Anniversary, and one of the releases within that focus was a completely new figure of ROTS Anakin. It was released within Wave 23 of the Black Series Galaxy Collection alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi and Lieutenant Galle from Revenge of the Sith. The other figures were a new Imperial Sandtrooper from A New Hope and The Stranger  from The Acolyte.  Anakin arrives as number 05 in the Revenge of the Sith Galaxy Collection, following on from Obi-Wan Kenobi in numbering and on the side artwork, depicted in its deep orange colouring, with the same colour also used on the box text. The same image is used on the back of the box, along with a very specific short piece of text around Anakin battling Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar. The Lava Plains of Mustafar are featured within the artwork but also on the internal card within the deep orange background colouring, a slightly variant version to that of Obi-Wan, indicating the different perspectives of both characters during their duel. In hand, Anakin is replicated in his darker Jedi robes with the torso treated as a soft plastic jacket over the base torso. This is black in colour, but with a painted brown at the collar, with this same brown used on the arms, with the right arm also including Anakin’s black glove with silver clasps covering his prosthetic hand. The lower skirt of the robes is another soft plastic sleeve and incorporates the belt. Like the upper robes, the skirt piece is cast in black with more brown tones used on the belt, with further silver detailing on the belt buckle and clasps. There is a socket built into the belt for Anakin’s lightsaber. The legs are also a brown colour with knee-high, ridged boots in a slightly different brown tone.  The headsculpt is very much in line with the quality likenesses we are seeing across the Black Series for much of 2025, it captures the likeness of the ROTS era Hayden Christensen, with facial printing used to add realism to the eyes and his scar over the right eye. The eyes are given a darker, sunken look, but are not the full Sith eyes. with the SDCC 'Duel on Mustafar' Obi-Wan Kenobi (right) The Sith angry head remains exclusive to the SDCC 2025 Duel on Mustafar set  which also includes an extra force push hand. Otherwise, the base figure is identical so if you have the SDCC set, there is nothing new in this single release other than allowing you to display both figures, one with each of the sculpted heads.  Anakin includes his lightsaber, the iconic hilt that would be used by Luke through until he lost it on Bespin. It features a silver base hilt with black fins and a visible red indicator light. The saber hilt includes a plug that corresponds to the socket on the belt for a secure holstered position. The set includes the standard translucent blue blade that clips into the hilt and holds securely for displays where Anakin has his lightsaber activated. The hilt sits in either of Anakin’s hands; normal and gloved prosthetic, with sufficient articulation for the weapon to be gripped in both hands Anakin’s articulation is heavily improved vs the original figure, a figure that suffered terribly with poor leg articulation and stability, as well as with a very visible and ugly neck joint. This new release boasts 19 points of articulation, and uses the latest configuration of joints, including the removal of the often unsightly thigh swivel and adding in rotation at both the knee and at Anakin’s boot-cut. The joints are incorporated into the sculpt, and the elbows and knees are barely intrusive once posed. The legs facilitate a variety of action positions as well as allowing Anakin to crouch, kneel or sit. The ankles are solid and hold Anakin in place once posed.  The arms include butterfly shoulders to support the lightsaber stances, allowing the weapon to be wielded in both hands and not just at the neutral position, but in striking combat positions. The torso movement is supplied by a ball joint waist that allow a reasonable movement while also protecting the overall aesthetic of the torso with no need for a higher cut at the ribs. The neck is twin-jointed, moving at the top and bottom and allowing the head to rotate, tilt and look up and down.  Anakin, like Kenobi, is a significantly enhanced release vs its 11-year old predecessor and is in line with the excellent quality we’ve been seeing out of the Black Series recently on brand new developed figures. The release also follows the current focus by Hasbro of revisiting key characters from the early years of the line and bringing them up to speed with the more recent releases. Anakin looks great and poses really well.  with the Wave 23 Obi-Wan Kenobi (right) The release is perhaps missing a soft goods robe, particularly when we still are unable to recreate the march into the Jedi Temple, which is just as iconic from Revenge of the Sith as the Mustafar duel itself. It might have been nice to add the robes to this set, concluding the core looks from Revenge of the Sith across this and the SDCC release, assuming you bought both. If you didn’t, you do miss out on the very impressive Sith hatred head, so it's worth bearing that in mind. I do now hope that with this figure created, there is a plan to recreate the Attack of the Clones version to this level of quality. “You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you!” The original Star Wars Black Series release of Obi-Wan Kenobi from Revenge of the Sith fell very early on in the line, arriving in just the third full wave in 2014 . This obviously pre-dated any level of facial printing technology and also arrived at a time when the line was finding its feet on articulation and proportionality. While Kenobi was not a bad figure, he didn’t date well as the line began to put out much more visually impressive figures. While the original figure got an Archive release in 2022 with an updated facial print, it was crying out for a full revisit, which is exactly what Hasbro did in 2025 as they worked their way through some classic figures and in the year in which Revenge of the Sith marked its 20th Anniversary. Obi-Wan was released in the standard Galaxy Collection box and as part of the Revenge of the Sith collection, which, despite the movie’s popularity, was still relatively small. The figure was part of Wave 23 alongside two other ROTS figures, as well as The Stranger  from The Acolyte, and another fully revisited figure, the Imperial Sandtrooper. Kenobi is number 04 in the collection, using the deep orange colouring against the matt black box. The artwork of Kenobi, with his lightsaber brandished, connects to the Clone Lieutenant Galle from the same wave and onward to Anakin Skywalker, the final figure of Wave 23 of the Galaxy Collection The back of the box uses the same imagery as the side art, and also has a short piece of text that focuses on Obi-Wan’s showdown with Anakin on Mustafar. The internal card back, also deep orange in colour, incorporates imagery from the Musfar Lava Plains.  Kenobi is a brand new figure from the ground up, and replicates his Jedi roles as worn by Obi-Wan throughout Revenge of the Sith. The torso is made up of a softer plastic sleeve over a base torso, and this spreads the robes out over the shoulders, as we see with Kenobi’s costume. The upper robes continue with a second rubber sleeve for the skirt section, and covering the gap between the two is Obi-Wan’s belt. While the main part of the robes are cast in the base beige colour, paint is used to colour the inner robes around the neck in a darker brow,n as well as the belt. The belt also features silver and gold around the buckle and fastenings. The legs are cast in another, darker, brown tone, with the boots concluding the outfit in a reddish brown. The headsculpt is new and a great likeness to Ewan McGregor as seen during the events of ROTS with his thicker beard, and longer hair swept over to one side. Facial printing is used to bring out the realism in the eyes in particular, and to fade in around the facial hair rather than it being a harsh line. The hair is an individual piece, fixed into the head, allowing the hair to flow more naturally up and then down on the side parting, there is also no paint overflow here between hair and skin.  The figure, developed for a 2025 release, is also used in the SDCC 2025 Duel on Mustafar set ,  which featured Obi-Wan vs Anakin on the repulsor platform on Mustafar. The base figures are the same across both releases, although with the Mustafar exclusive, you do get an alternative head option, as seen in this comparison image, as well as an alternative force gesture hand. Neither set comes with the robes we see both Anakin and Kenobi wear when they both arrive on Mustafar. For those buying both releases, it might have been nice to include the robes with the single figure to allow collectors to replicate scenes like this arrival at the Lava planet, or when entering the Jedi Temple with Yoda after Order 66. with the SDCC 'Duel on Mustafar' Obi-Wan Kenobi (right) Obi-Wan does come with his lightsaber, the same one used across a number of Kenobi releases across the Black Series. This is a detailed and crisply cast piece with a black body, silver rings and a gold piece just under the emitter, as well as a bronze switch further down the body of the weapon. A plug to the bottom end corresponds with a socket on the belt, allowing Kenobi to holster the weapon. A single blue translucent blade is included that slots into the emitter to recreate the activated lightsaber. This blade is straight and true, clipping securely into the hilt. The hilt can be wielded in either left or right hands, with sufficient articulation to also allow for two-handed poses.  The articulation itself is pinless, and there are 19 joints in total. These newer figures have lost the thigh swivel, which could be unsightly on some figures, with the swivel for the legs built into the knee. Obi-Wan also has a secondary swivel in the boot cut. The legs can move extensively with sufficient play in the rubberised skirt to help with wider stances, or even kneeling or sitting positions. The ankle rockers are tight and secure, and Obi-Wan is perfectly stable once posed.  The upper body contains a ball joint at the waist for some level of ab-crunch movement. The neck is twin-jointed, moving at the top and bottom of the neck peg - but also meaning there is no longer a visible joint on the neck, which was a big issue with the older figure. The arms have butterfly joints tucked away behind the robes, which extend the arm movements inwards for two handed saber positions in particular. Obi-Wan is a substantial upgrade on the original figure and its Archive tweaked release. Every element is improved considerably with Kenobi presenting a more screen accurate look, better likeness, and improved articulation with joints engineered to be part of the sculpt and not intruding upon the overall look. For those that did pay out for the Mustafar set, there is nothing in the single release that you don’t have already. For those who skipped the SDCC exclusive, then this release gives you the base figure but without the head with ruffled hair and without the force gesture.  with the Wave 23 Anakin Skywalker (right) As a representation of Obi-Wan Kenobi in Revenge of the Sith, the figure does still lack a soft goods robe, but otherwise its an impressive addition and very much welcomed to bring another core character from the earlier stage of the collection in line with the more modern releases. “Execute Order 66” 2025 marked the 20th Anniversary of Revenge of the Sith, and to mark the milestone the Star Wars Black Series presented us with a new series of retro carded figures. But despite the focus, new characters from ROTS were not overly forthcoming. While we still wait for a Saesee Tinn or Mass Amedda, the 2025 offerings from Hasbro were limited to two new Clone Troopers in the guise of Clone Commander Bacara  and the release we are looking over here, Clone Lieutenant Galle. Galle’s name is not an immediately recognised one within Star Wars canon, but his role, alongside Commander Bly, in the Order 66 execution of Aayla Secura will be known to all fans of the prequel movies.  Lieutenant Galle was released as part of Wave 23 of the Black Series, the final full wave of 2025 that was very much heavily influenced by Revenge of the Sith with it also including the ROTS releases Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. The other two figures of the five figure wave were the new Imperial Sandtrooper and The Stranger  from The Acolyte. Galle is packed in the standard Black Series Phase 4 squared box with the mat black baase colour and applied deep orange highlight colour used for the Revenge of the Sith releases. Galle is number 03 in the Revenge of the Sith collection, following on directly from Bacara  and leading into Kenobi and Skywalker from the same wave.  The side artwork features a close-up shot of Galle against the foliage of Felucia, with the same Felucian landscape and plants seen on the inserted card that sits behind the figure. The back of the box carries the slightest of overviews of Galle, and talks about his role alongside Bly within the 327th Star Corps and their exploits on Quell, Maridun, and Felucia. Galle utilises the newest Clone body, a combination of white gloss armoured segments that are connected, mainly at the articulated joints, by black connectors which replicate the Clone’s undersuit. The bright white armour is overpainted, as if by hand, to replicate the markings of the 327th with a thick stripe down the chest plate, markings on the shoulder armour and down through the arms. It is also used to pick out panels on the knee plates and around the boots. This yellow is lighter than his Commander, Bly, whose colouring is a marginally darker, more mustard finish. If you look at the scenes in which the 327th appear, and reference photos, then Hasbro has possibly gone a shade too light on Galle, although the figure is without any weathering or battle damage, which we do find on screen, and that will darken the colours. As a Lieutenant, Galle is also geared out with a larger black pauldron with brown inserts that sits around this shoulders, with the wider piece sitting out over to the left shoulder. A secondary strap with white compartments stretches from the pauldron to the belt. The belt itself is white to match the armour, but also picks up a couple of yellow stripes. It incorporates both a pair of holsters across each hip and a soft goods Kama skirt in beige. The skirt lacks any particular ‘body’ and sits quite flat, and may kick out to the side depending on how it was sat when the figure was packed. It is also quite light in colour compared to what appears to be a darker tone on screen, closer in hue to the mustard yellow of the armour. Like most modern Clone releases, Galle comes with a removable Clone Trooper Phase II helmet. The helmet carries the same markings as the armour, all with slightly rough edges as though painted by hand. The white helmet also includes a gloss black painted visor, black and grey trim and silver parts around the breathing filters. The helmet fit is good, although, as with most close-fit helmets, there is a risk of paint rub on the head with excessive use. You can also see the chin of the head in some angles where the Phase II helmet opens up between the two breathing filters  Underneath is the now-standard and well used Clone likeness of Temurra Morrison with a flattop of dark hair. Facial printing is used to enhance the eyes, although it is noted not to the same standard of realism we see on other modern figures. Perhaps with Galle and other Clones, the decision was to pare back the application on the basis that most collectors will display these with helmets on. In fact, it wouldn’t have been a major issue had Galle come with the helmet fixed in place and the head unpainted, considering he never removed the helmet during the events of ROTS. Galle has the usual suite of articulation assigned to the newest Clone bodies. There are 21 joints in total with the upper body featuring a ball joint in the chest, dual-jointed neck, and arms that include butterfly shoulders alongside the usual shoulder, elbow and wrist joints. This allows Galle to wield the included weaponry, including firing positions. The pauldron does present a slight restriction to the left arm, but nothing substantial with the shoulder armour underneath, hinged to move with the arm.  The legs are less restricted by the armour attachments with the skirt being soft goods rather than softer plastic. Galle can achieve kneeling and sitting positions, as well as able to be posed as though running or marching or taking up wider stances to fire his included weaponry.  That weaponry starts with a pair of DC-17 blasters, which can be stowed in the twin holsters or positioned in either hand as both feature a trigger finger - a recent improvement to the Clone Trooper base figure. The DC-17 blasters are relatively plain in design, but the cast is crisp in black plastic and has no painted details.  Galle then features the DC-15A blaster carbine, similarly cast in black and with no painted details. This weapon can again be wielded in the right or left hands, with the other used to cradle the barrel in firing positions. The DC-15A has no holsering options, but the inclusion of both this and the DC-17’s ensures screen accuracy with the brief shots we see of Galle have him holding the larger carbine with the two smaller blasters holstered at his side.  I don’t think there is such a thing as too many Clones in the Star Wars Black Series, and Hasbro is doing a good job of going wide and deep on the Clones from the Clone Wars era, with Galle being a neat, named character to line up alongside the existing figures of Commander Bly and the Jedi General Aayla Secura. Execution of the figure against the brief onscreen scenes is good. Galle’s colouring is probably a touch too light compared to the onscreen appearances of the 327th and therefore slightly different to that of Bly, who was released several years earlier. The skirt is also perhaps slightly too light, and as is often quoted with any Clone release, a degree of battle weathering might have been preferred.  with Clone Commander Bly All in all, Clone Lieutenant Galle is a solid release with a trio of accessories, a removable helmet option that could have easily been skipped, and he expands the Clone Wars displays by giving us another Clone character that isn’t a Commander or a member of the 501st.
