A few weeks ago we shared the details of two new 'human' figures in the Mattel Jurassic World Amber Collection of 6 inch scale figures & dinosaurs. Ray Arnold, as seen in Jurassic Park and played by Samuel L Jackson, is a new release and features Ray in his white lab coat complete with his 1990 era PC, headset, an alternative pair of hands and a severed arm. While an image has been shown with Ray holding the arm, there does not seem to be a corresponding option to show the damage on the right arm. The other figure is a Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park, a character already released in 2020 in the line. This is a tweak to Ian only as the base figure looks to be identical, as are the flare torch and glass of water. The walkie talkie looks new, Both figures are up for pre-order now with an almost immediate release having been listed for March 2021 delivery. Inspired by the original Jurassic Park film, the Ray Arnold figure features authentic movie details and is extremely poseable. Standing 6 inches tall this figure is a great addition to any Jurassic Park collection. In a follow up tweet to last weeks teaser image, NECA have shared another image from an upcoming Back to the Future II Ultimate release of Griff Tannen. Last week we saw the extendable baseball bat, and now we have a look at the Pitbull hoverboard. We are assuming these are all part of a single release of Griff and await the full reveal from NECA.

NECA have released the full details for their Toony Terrors deluxe box set of Quint and 'Bruce the Shark' from Jaws. The set features a 6 inch scale Quint in the Toony Terrors format. He is armed with a machete and a harpoon spear. Bruce is realised as a head emerging from the water with open jaws and a bloody paint job around the teeth. A second piece for the fin can be added to give the impression of him swimming. For good measure, Quint can be put into the Shark's mouth for display. The Toony Terror Jaws set will also feature the usual inclusion of a cut out backdrop from the packaging. The set is a July 2021 release. “We’re gonna need a bigger boat.” Joining the adorably creepy Toony Terrors line are Quint and shark from Jaws! Hasbro have shared some new images for their Marvel Legends Disney+ figures of Wanda (Scarlet Witch) and Vision (White, Project Cataract). "We know you've seen them, but we're still going to celebrate them! Peep the Marvel Legend Series WandaVision Scarlet Witch and The Vision Figures, inspired by Marvel Studios' WandaVision! Available for pre-order later this spring! Each sold separately." NECA are one of the few Toy companies who do regular accessory sets for their action figure lines, with box sets already released for the likes of Predator, Aliens, Turtles and Nightmare on Elm Street. The next accessory set has now been confirmed via TJ Gremlins Guy on Twitter and it will be for the NECA Gremlins line. "The wait is over Neca Gremlins fans! See it here FIRST! Just a little sneak peek at what’s to come from the Up & coming NECA Gremlins accessory set. The set is packed FULL of awesome Gremlin goods & this little speed racer is only part of it!" The trio of Return of the Jedi Vintage Collection 3.75 inch figures of Princess Leia, Paploo and the AT-ST driver were announced back in January via the online Fan Event. Hasbro have now confirmed these items will go up for pre-order as of Monday the 15th of March 2021 at Walmart, who will have these exclusively in the US. Following the launch of Hasbro Pulse UK, it will be interesting to see if these come down via the usual Fan Channel route and/or are offered via Pulse UK. This week's Marvel Must Have's were unveiled by Entertainment Weekly and were all based on the recent finale of Wandavision on Disney+ It seems that Diamond Select are releasing a new 7 inch Marvel Select scale figure of The Scarlet Witch, with the following images unveiled by EW. "Maybe the most lifelike figurine we’ve seen yet, the Scarlet Witch Diamond Select figurine even includes the hood that Wanda puts on as her Hex fades away, and she leaves Westview once and (hopefully) for all. " The EW article confirmed in the press release that the new Scarlet Witch is available via Amazon, and the figure has gone up for pre-order on Amazon US for a 29th September 2021 release date. The item is not exclusive to Amazon as it is also now being listed at other retailers, including Big Bad Toy Store. The price in the US is $29.99 which is an increase on the usual Select price which has been sat around $24.99 for the last year or so. The figure looks to have two head display options - one with the hood she is wearing as she leaves Westview, and one without and with the red hair flowing freely. The BBTS listing does indicate the hood is a separate piece. It is therefore unclear if this means you get two head options and the hood, or if there is a more intricate swap out option of hood vs hair over the same base head sculpt. The Amazon listing does not indicate any other accessories, or a base diorama which essentially are disappearing from the Select line. While the blurb does talk about 'Display-ready Select' packaging - it will be interesting to see if Diamond move the Marvel figures to the newer window box we've seen on The Muppets, Tron and Lord of the Rings. The pre-orders have started for the new UK release of the Gold Label Curse of Apocalypse Spawn figure from McFarlane. These listings, shared initially by In Demand Toys, also include a full set of promo images for the figure. The Gold Label is a US exclusive for Walmart stores, but will be a more general release outside the US and of course here in the UK. Spawn is presented in a window box and will come with a club and display stand. We initially thought this new Spawn would be released under the Spawn banner, but the packaging shows this is part of the Mortal Kombat 11 line. He will be a May/June 2021 release. These listings, shared initially by In Demand Toys, also include a full set of promo images for the figure. After much speculation and wholesaler listings, the McFarlane DC Multiverse movie figures from Zack Snyder's Justice League recut have gone up for online pre-orders at Amazon in the US and Canada. The wave is confirmed to include Justice League figures of Batman, Superman, Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman. There appears no intention to re-release or re-pack Wonder Woman who was released in 2020 from her WW84 movie. We are also getting new Deluxe figures of Steppenwolf and Darkseid. These are a new Mega figure scale within the McFarlane Universe. If the blurb over Steppenwolf being 8 feet tall is accurate, these figures should come in around the 9.5 inch mark. The line will also have some retailer exclusives including an alternative Darkseid, Superman, Batman and Cyborg. These are yet to be confirmed or revealed officially. Each figure is packed in the usual DC Multiverse window box, but with a JL 2021 logo. While release dates are bouncing around a bit, it seems June 2021 is the general ballpark for these figures to hit shelves.
