NECA has released images of the full 6th Series for their Toony Terrors line. We saw Captain Blake from The Fog earlier this week. He will be joined by Elvira, The Miner from My Bloody Valentine, and Herbert West from Re-animator. Like the previous waves, the figures will be carded and feature a display background on the back of the card that collectors can cut out and use for display. Medicom have placed a new MAFEX Harley Quinn up for pre-order, as seen in the Birds of Prey movie. Harley is wearing her clear jacket with those caution tape sleeves. Medicom are releasing a new MAFEX figure of IG-11 from The Mandalorian, and it looks brilliant. It will be packed with a tea set on a tray, and he is armed with an E-11 blaster as well as the longer DLT-19X. The best bit is the satchel bag containing Grogu who is peering out over the top of the bag. IG-11 will also feature die-cast ankles, which will certainly help with stability for a figure of his stature. The self-destruct mechanism can also be switched out if you wish. IG-11 is a January 2022 release and is up for preorder at stores like Hobbylink Japan and other specialists. The IG-11 from "The Mandalorian" joins Medicom's awesome line of MAFEX action figures! It is the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Friday pre-order event from NECA and they have revealed a brand new set for pre-order this week, with an Antrax and Scumbug 2-pack in the Animated Series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line. The set features Antrax with swap out hands, axe, knife and club. While Scumbug has additional hands, a gas-gun, net launcher, bugs and fission detector. Like the previous NECA direct reveals, the set can be pre-ordered via the NECA Store as both a US option and an International option. It will be delivered in the Autumn of 2021. Other sets have also gone up for pre-order via the NECA Store method to US and International customers at the same time including the Tragg & Grannitor pack, and the Ultimate Krang Android. Fans of the Super7 Ultimates 7-inch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle line can be excited by this new teaser image for the next wave of figures. The image looks to show a Turtle in Samurai armour, and from the sword and blue colouring this is likely to be Leonardo. No more details have been released at this stage, but the start of a teaser campaign indicates a full reveal and the pre-order window cannot be too far away - although using the usual Super7 Ultimates model we wouldn't expect actual figures to be in hand until earlier 2022. The reports of a re-issue for The Watcher, one of Diamond Select's most sought-after Marvel figures, surfaced earlier this week via Taobao. The figure was then listed on BigBadToyStore as a re-issue and promptly sold out on the first day. The figure is now starting to be listed on UK sites as a pre-order with an October 2021 release date. The re-release does make sense considering The Watcher's role as Narrator in the upcoming Disney+ animated Series 'What If'. Two new variants in the McFarlane Mortal Kombat line have been revealed and will be released in a 2-pack, currently listed on Walmart US for a July 1st 2021 release. The set includes a new Sub-Zero variant in a green and burgundy trimmed outfit and armed with his twin axes. He will face off against Shao Khan, who has the silver armour but with a yellow trim. He is armed with a new spear piece rather than the hammer from the other two sets. The set is a Walmart Exclusive in the US, it should be available outside of the US via specialist stores. Mezco's One:12 Collective Ultraman has gone up for pre-order, with a release date at the start of 2022 between January and March. This new 6-inch release features Ultraman with light-up features in the chest and the head. There are two heads included, the 2nd with a Fluoroscope Ray effect shooting out of the light-up eyes. You also get a number of additional hands, and some FX pieces such as the Ultra Slash, Attack Ray, and Spectrum Beam. To give Ultraman a sense of scale the set includes a mini VTOL Jet and a set of breakaway buildings. You even get a removable 'Brother's Mantle' Cape. Ultraman has a US RRP of $105 and can be ordered direct from Mezco, with other preorders from specialist stores likely to open soon. It is interesting to see a number of other Kaiju from Ultraman in the photos. They are not included, but looks like there could possibly be some future releases in there like Red King, particularly if Ultraman sells well. Hailing all the way from Nebula M78, Ultraman joins the One:12 Collective! Ultraman is outfitted in a combat suit powered by his Ultraman Factor, and features a light-up Color Timer on his chest. He comes with two light-up head portraits including a Fluoroscope Ray portrait, known for de-cloaking and destroying! Ultraman comes complete with a range of attack FX including a Specium Ray hand FX, an Ultra Slash FX, and an Ultra Attack Ray FX which fits over his arm. The Jet VTOL, the main vehicle of Science Special Search-Party, is also included and can be held by Ultraman. Recreate a multitude of fight scenes with the scaled breakaway buildings that can be disassembled to look like they’ve been destroyed during battle! As is the case with a number of their DC figures, McFarlane have confirmed that their Gorilla Grodd figure will have a silver armour variant that they are calling the Electrum variant. The figure is turning up now in the US, it will be interesting to see if this will ever see UK shores as it is packed as a variant in the cases on a random basis.
