Hasbro are revealing a number of new Marvel Legends figures via Fan Sites and Reviewers around the world. Having stopped in the US with The Fwosh, and UK with Super Sorrell, the reveals moved to Canada and Toying Around, This 3rd reveal is a figure we had seen teased before on the Fan First live steam on the 26th of April, the shirtless Wolverine figure. Like Callisto and Mastermind before him, Logan is made up predominantly of repurposed parts from previous releases- notably the Weapon-X Wolverine and Brown/Yellow X-Men suit. He comes with two heads - one beat up and one angry - and will also feature his adamantium claws on one set of hands, while a 2nd set features the claws retracted. There is no context given by Hasbro at the moment for the figure and where it will sit in the release schedule or if it will be part of an X-Men wave or will come via a different route. Two new McFarlane 7-inch scale figures from the Witcher have been unveiled from The Witcher III : Wild Hunt video game. We have a further version of Geralt of Rivia, now in his Wolf Armour. He comes with his twin swords. a Griffin's head trophy and an Igni fire blast FX piece that attaches to his hand. While some parts are re-used, the majority of the armour is new vs the two previous Geralt figures. The second reveal is a new character to the line, Ceri. She will feature her sword, sheath, and clip-on Elder Power Magic FX pieces that attaches to the sword blade. Both figures are general releases and were recently listed in the PreviewsWorld. They have been listed on Walmart in the US as a 15th July release for Geralt, with Ciri arriving on the 11th of August. The Order of the Witchers, now mostly completely wiped out, had several schools of learning that were each proficient in their own art. The School of the Wolf was one of the most recognised of these schools as its members gained the reputation of professional and reliable monster slayers. Geralt dons this set of armor from the School of the Wolf, his own school of study, with layered jackets and reinforced metal studs and rivets. Coming in the 2nd Quarter of 2022 is the Iron Studios new Art Scale 1/10 Mandalorian statue, featuring Mando and his charge, Grogu. The polystone statue stands 8.6 inches tall and features Mando holding Grogu on a semi-circular diorama base. In a paternal way, Mando, who is a lonely Mandalorian bounty hunter, lovingly holds in his hands the little baby named Grogu, a mysterious child who has the physical characteristics of the legendary Jedi master Yoda, who also has a strong connection with the Force. Mando, who had been tasked with capturing the child, became fond of the small and apparently fragile Grogu, becoming his guardian and protector against the remaining forces of the ancient fallen Galactic Empire, the other bounty hunters who have the same task, to capture the child. The Big Bad Toy Store pre-orders for the Mattel Jurassic World 6-inch Amber Collection have been updated with images now of the new Ellie Sattler, John Hammond, The JW3 Raptor, and the Dimorphodon 2-Pack. John Hammond comes with two head options, his amber-tipped cane, and a hatching dinosaur egg. Following on from The Fwoosh's Marvel Legends exclusive reveal of Callisto, the UK's own Super Sorrel had an exclusive reveal of his own to bring us from the Marvel Legends team. The new Jason Wyngarde Mastermind figure from the Hellfire club will feature two head options. It repurposes parts from last year's Hellfire club boxset, but that also ensures Mastermind will display perfectly alongside the four figures of the Hellfire Club boxset. Super Sorell was provided with a pre-production sample for review, and you can check that out via his YouTube channel. There are no other details at this stage about the release of the figures, but it seems an X-Men-themed wave may be shaping up here with the reveals so far of Mastermind and Callisto. It seems we have even more Marvel Legends to be revealed across this final weekend of May and into June. Just a couple of days after the reveals on the Hasbro Pulse Fan First Thursday, we had an exclusive article published by The Fwoosh with a brand new Marvel Legends reveal. Callisto is the leader of the Morlocks in the X-Men comic book universe, the figure will be based on her comic book appearance with blue hair, eyepatch, and her black outfit with an orange vest. She looks to be packed along with two knife accessories. The Fwoosh has been furnished with a pre-production sample for review which you can check out on their page. At the moment we have no other detail of the release, but it seems Callisto is not the only Fan Site reveal we will see. Ahead of the long Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK and the Memorial Day Weekend in the US, the Hasbro Marvel Legends team held another Fan Livestream with another batch of reveals. They started with a good look at the full lineup of the MCU Infinity Saga releases with some interesting details on each such as the alternative arm with Thanos allowing you to update the existing BAF to an accurate Endgame version. There was also a hint that they may use the new Iron-Man Mk3 to do a silver Mk2 version. Worth a watch back if you are an MCU collector. The reveals were all comic book releases, starting with the 2nd wave of X-Men Age of Apocalypse figures unveiled and up for pre-order. The wave will feature Magneto, Rogue, Cyclops, Shadowcat, Saberetooth, Iceman, and Legion. The Build-a-Figure is Colossus. The wave is planned as an Autumn release. The promo images supporting the reveal and pre-order are currently digital and therefore not 100% final. The other reveal with pre-order was a Retro carded Spider-Man 2099 who will come with three pairs of hands as well as some web-wing effects. The panel wound up with an image of a new Tigra figure, and more teasers around an Exalibur box-set. This is starting to feel like a similar build up to the Hellfire club from last year, so may well be a large exclusive pack. Kaiyodo have released images and details for their next Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi release, the Arkham Knight figure from Batman Arkham Knight. The 6-inch scale figure will allow you to display him as Arkham Knight or as Red Hood as there are alternative head and armour parts for the two different looks. The figure will also feature a selection of hand options, and he is armed with a pair of daggers and two swords - but oddly no pistols, the trademark weapon of Red Hood? The next Mezco One:12 Collective release will be English Puritan, Solomon Kane. Created by Robert E. Howard, the 16th Century Adventurer has appeared in a number of stories published within the Wierd Tales fantasy pulp magazine. Solomon will feature an array of weaponry from swords with sheaths to daggers, a flaming torch, muskets, and his staff. There will be a good supply of alternative hands to wield each of them. The figure will feature a 'mix and match' system for the head with three heads provided with the option to alternate head and hair/hat across all of them to give a wider range of display options. Iron Studios have revealed a very special 1/10 scale release in their Art Scale statue line. Jabba the Hutt, as seen in Return of the Jedi, is presented complete with his throne. The whole piece stands 9 inches high and comes in at 15 inches long. Sculpted detail includes Jabba's hookah and pipe, the cushions and cloth of his throne, some plates of food and drink, and his companion/pet Salacious Crumb. Jabba is a limited edition release and has a recommended US price tag of $529.99 (approx £375). He is scheduled for release in the first quarter (Jan-Mar) of 2022. With his cruel eyes, the unscrupulous lord of crime judges his victims and watches his henchmen, resting his grotesque and greasy body on his throne, which is shaped like a concrete platform. His throne is surrounded by adornments in the form of bronze cyclopes, which have rings between their teeth to chain their slaves.
