(photos will be updated as the press image come in via Hasbro) It seems June is being renamed as Yo Joe June, with a number of reveals and product launches planned by Hasbro in their G.I. Joe lines. The month kicked off with a Hasbro Fan Fest live stream which included four new reveals in the G.I. Joe Classified line. We can look forward to another Roadblock figure, this version is the Heavy Artillery Roadblock and it will feature a new head sculpt with a removable helmet, an updated paint job and mini-gun weapon. He is an Amazon exclusive, with limited numbers available via Hasbro Pulse. Snake Eyes is also getting a new figure, this time in a double pack with his wolf, Timber. The box set is the Alpha Commandos set and features an updated look to Snake Eyes vs the already released figures with a new head sculpt and adjustments to the outfit. He comes with two weapons and a knife. Timber will be fully articulated and also includes an alternative head. The figure will go up for pre-order at some stage in June at "selected retailers" indicating it is not an a exclusive set. One figure that is exclusive is Barbeque, who will be released as part of the Target Cobra Island line. Barbeque will feature his flamethrower and axe. The final reveal is the second vehicle in the line, with a G.I. Joe R.A.M. (Rapid Fire Motorcycle). The bike comes with the minigun sidecar as per the original, and to ride it we have a brand new figure of Breaker with a removable helmet. Breaker and R.A.M. are also part of the Target Cobra Island range. The Infinity Saga branding is the new coverall for the Marvel MCU movies from Phase 1 through to Phase 3 and is being used by multiple companies for new releases including Hasbro and Lego. Threezero will also be releasing Infinity Saga products, and are throwing their hat into the 1/12 (6-inch) scale with new Marvel MCU figures in their DLX Collectible Figure Line. We can look forward to the Iron-Man Mk43 and the Hulkbuster figure from Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Mk43 Iron-Man will be released in the 3rd Quarter of 2021 and is constructed of both plastic and metal. You also get 5 pairs of hands and some FX parts for repulsor blasts and flying effects. The Mk43 can also be disassmbled to leave a torso which then fits into the 2nd Infinity Saga release, a Mk44 Hulkbuster The Mk44 Hulkbuster from threezero will stand 12-inches tall and is constructed from a mix of metal and plastic. It is fully articulated and also includes light-up features across the eyes, chest and the back of the figure. You also get three pairs of hands for display. The Hulkbuster is a first quarter release for 2022. threezero proudly presents the DLX Iron Man Mark 43 as the first action figure in the Marvel Studios x threezero Avengers: Infinity Saga series. This fully-articulated 1/12 scale collectible figure stands at 6.5” (~16.5cm) tall and is constructed of threezero’s renown DLX die-cast system with over 48 points of articulation. Its forearms and upper-torso are detachable which allow the Mark 43 armor to fit inside the Mark 44 Hulkbuster armor to be released in 2021. Jada Toys are well established in the diecast vehicle market with products from the likes of Fast & Furious, and iconic cars in their Movie Rides line such as the Batmobile and ECTO-1. After dabbling with action figures for the Robocop reboot in 2013, the only current offering from Jada ae the small Nano Metal 1.6 inch figures - but that is about to change. An Italian distributor, Cosmic Group, has listed four Universal Monsters 6-inch action figures coming soon from Jada Toys. The four figures are the Bride of Frankenstein, Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. The figures will include alternative heads as well as accessories. It is not yet clear on the articulation count or price point. The fifth Marvel Legends reveal of the week was provided by Shartimus Prime who like those that went before him, got the exclusive reveal from Hasbro along with a pre-production sample figure to review. Joining the four X-Men themed figures is this new figure of Cyber, another of Wolverine's foes from over the years. Cyber is a larger buck figure and uses the new Colossus body and arms, with a new head sculpt. We still do not know the format that all of these Fan Site reveals will take, but the common feeling is that these will form a Wolverine themed Retro carded wave. The Tech-On Avengers is a collaboration between Marvel and Bandai as announced in May 2021. The output from this partnership would be a new Tech-On Avengers comic book series in August 2021 where the Avengers would be re-designed by Bandai with new armour suits and equipment. And to support the series, a new line of SH Figuarts figures would be released by Bandai. Roll forward to Tamashii Features 2021 and we have our first look at two figures from this new range. We have, as you'd expect, a brand new Tech-On Iron-Man. This new Stark figure was released in full at Tamashii Features with a full promo gallery. We also got a look at Captain America in a promo image alongside Iron-Man. The third figure in this image has been blanked out, but looking at the silhouette and then the character art on the Tamashii Nations website, we'd assume this 3rd figure to be Wolverine (the claws are a giveaway as well). “What has it got in its pocketses?" The new Lord of the Rings line from Diamond Select will have an exclusive box set this Summer. The SDCC 2021 Exclusive will feature a version of the upcoming Gollum figure, along with his handmade bone and skin boat. Gollum will feature two head options and will also come with a fish accessory. There is also an alternative right hand, sculpted holding "the precious" - the One Ring. He will be joined in the pack by a translucent Frodo, as though turned invisible by the One Ring. Frodo will feature a translucent Sting sword with a working scabbard. The set will be packed in a display box that opens like a book (not yet pictured). This set does have a little bit of a context issue in that Gollum and his boat are from The Hobbit, while Frodo is obviously from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The Lord of the Rings Exclusive pack is now being sold via Gentle Giant and Previews stockists in the absence of an SDCC show this year due to the Covid pandemic. It is limited to 4000 pieces and can be ordered now for a Summer 2021 release. What has it gots in its pocketses? This exclusive two-pack of Lord of the Rings action figures lets the cat out of the bag, showing Frodo in his completely invisible mode, wearing the one Ring of Sauron. Standing right next to him is Gollum, who looks pretty angry about someone stealing his “precious.” Each 4-inch action figure features multiple points of articulation, as well as detailed sculpting and paint applications. Limited to only 4,000 pieces, the pair comes packaged in replica of an opening book and includes a scale replica of Gollum's handmade boat. The Tamashii Features event has seen confirmation that the final two members of the original Avengers lineup from the 2021 movie will be released in the SH Figuarts line. Black Widow will feature two face options as well as alternative hair. She comes with a number of assorted hands and is armed with two handguns - that fit into working holsters - and her stolen Chitauri weapon. Hawkeye will come with two heads - one with glasses and one without - as well as a number of hand options. He will be armed with his bow, arrows, and his quiver. Both Black Widow and Hawkeye are down as October 2021 releases. Another reveal at the Tamashii Features online event is their new Vision figure from the Disney+ Series, Wanda-Vision. There will be two versions of the figure, with a standard colour Vision and the alternative white Version of the resurrected Vision. We have a first look from McFarlane for the DC Multiverse 7-inch figures from the upcoming James Gunn Suicide Squad movie. We believe this to be a wave with King Shark as the Build-a-Figure. You would need to pick up the figures of Peacemaker, Bloodsport, Harley Quinn, and Polka Dot Man. Announced during Tamashii Features is the latest iteration of Godzilla from the Netflix Singular Point series. The SH Monsterarts release will come with two head options and will also feature two scaled figures of Jet Jaguar. Godzilla will measure 44cm tail to head. Over the last few days, a number of new Marvel Legends figures have been revealed across a number of Fan Sites who were each given an exclusive reveal. Following on from Callisto, Mastermind, and Wolverine is the latest reveal via Annoying You With Friendship, a brand new Omega Red figure. Like the other reveals so far, Omega Red is a repaint of an existing figure and he has been given two head sculpts as a point of difference. While we are still unclear on how all these new figures will be released, but the various repaints and tweaks are indicating this more being a Retro carded wave than a full-blown wave - Hasbro are remaining tight-lipped though, but are promising more reveals to come. Iron Studios hosted a special virtual behind-the-scenes tour on the 28th May taking fans Inside Iron Studios, ad revealing a number of new products You can watch the Inside Iron Studios video below in Portuguese with English subtitles. Among the new reveals was an Avengers: Endgame statue of Thor, Iron-Man, and Captain America. There is a new Voldemort in the Harry Potter line, complete with Nagini. And in a smaller 1/20 scale, is a very nice looking statue from the animated Dungeons & Dragons show featuring our heroes facing up against the five-headed dragon Tiamat.
