The Star Wars Fan Celebration event continues with a new reveal courtesy of The Fwoosh with three new Black Series Galaxy Collection Exclusives unveiled. The three figures are all taken from the animated media, starting with the 212th Attack Batallion Clone Trooper from the Clone Wars, he will utilise the new Clone Trooper body and is packed with the usual weaponry. The 212th Trooper is a Walgreens exclusive in the US and sold via the Fan Channel elsewhere with preorders open from 6pm on the 18th June 2021. Then we move over to the Bad Batch and a new version of Captain Rex, as we saw him in Episode 7 on Bracca. The figure is essentially the same as released back in 2018, although the new version will see Rex sport a new soft goods cape. There is then a new version of Crosshair from The Bad Batch. Imperial Cross Hair is in his new Elite Squad armour, which is pretty much a repaint of his Bad Batch Commando armour with an updated helmet. He still features his backpack, twin blasters and sniper rifle as seen in the original release from earlier this year. Both Bad Batch figures are exclusive to Walmart in the US and are also open for preorder as of the 18th June. All three figures have an Autumn 2021 release window. In another Fan Celebration reveal, the spotlight turned to Fantha Tracks and their exciting reveal of a new trio of figures celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Lucasfilm., Like the Phantom Menance and Clone Wars releases, this set will recreate retro carding - specifically the 1995 POTF2 cards from Kenner when Star Wars figures made their big return. We have re-releases of Han Solo and Luke Skywalker (Farmboy) from A New Hope. Both are previous releases both in the mainline and the 2017 40th Anniversary series, but the key this time around is that both will get the photo-real decor update. Han still comes with both his standard belt and the Stormtrooper utility belt - with both his blaster and the E17 Stormtrooper blaster rife. Luke features the Macrobinculars and his father's lightsaber. They are joined by a POTF2 carded Greedo from A New Hope, a long-awaited re-release for the movie Greedo who was first released 8-years ago when the line launched. He features a blaster which can be slotted into a working holster. The figures are all listed as exclusives to Hasbro Pulse and Shop Disney in the US press release. The Hasbro Star Wars Fan Celebration is back with selected Fan Sites and Reviewers given exclusive content to announce and reveal ahead of a wider press release from Hasbro. Today we saw a brand new Vintage Collection 4-pack unveiled, based around The Bad Batch and containing four new Trooper figures. The set will come with four individual carded figures, contained in an outer box. We have two new Clone Captain figures of Ballast and Grey. Grey featured in the opening episode, serving alongside his Jedi General Depa Bilba and her Padawan Caleb Dume. Captain Ballast looks to be a new character we have yet to meet in the series. Also included in the set are Clone Captain Rex as seen on Bracca in the recently aired Episode 7. Mezco is bringing Marvel's First Family to the One:12 Collective with the deluxe steel box release of the Fantastic Four. The set features Mr. Fantastic, Sue Storm, Human Torch, and the Thing -each of them wearing their classic blue jumpsuits. Each figure is packed with appropriate parts and accessories. Mr. Fantastic will feature three head options, a set of alternative normal hands, and a set of elongated arms, legs neck, and torso to recreate his elastic powers. He will also come with the Ultimate Nullifier as an accessory. The Invisible Woman Sue Storm will also feature three head options, an alternative hand, and a number of FX shields and blasts. The Thing is appropriately scaled as a larger figure alongside the other Fantastic Four members, and he features four head options and alternative hands. Also included are a soft good raincoat plus Fedora and sunglasses for when he wants to go incognito. You also get a street lamp and metal bar and a pair of FX energy pieces. The Human Torch can be swapped out from his usual form - with two normal head options - to his 'flame on' form with a 3rd fiery head and a whole raft of fire FX pieces. NECA have re-commenced teaser images for upcoming releases after a short break, and this next one for their Gremlins line has us a little confused. The accessories in the image are all explosive related with a bomb, detonator, stick of dynamite, gun powder barrel, and a hard hat. While these are all items we'd certainly see a Gremlin using, they are not seen in the movie other than a deleted scene with George (in a Bruce Lee shirt) holding some dynamite, We await details from NECA as to how and where these will be released. Hasbro have announced a new Marvel Legends Gamerverse release with the Miles Morales Spider-Man realised in a blue translucent suit inspired by graphics from the Spider-Man Miles Morales video game. The release debuts a new Marvel Legends body for Miles Morales, and no doubt indicates other versions are incoming at some stage in varied suits from the game. The release will come with three pairs of standard hands, with a fourth pair being a powered-up translucent yellow version. The figure is a Gamestop exclusive release in the US, and is sold via the Fan Channel into specialist stores elsewhere,. The Hasbro press release indicates an Autumn 2021 release with Gamestop listing a more specific 1st of October 2021 release. UK retailers are a little more cautious with a November release date. This week we had a Fan Friday live stream from the Hasbro Power Rangers team, with a theme of Pink Ranger throughout the panel and the reveals. We started with a new version of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Pink Ranger, now with a cel-shaded paint job to reflect a comic book colouring. This figure is a Gamestop exclusive in the US, with some limited numbers also being sold on Pulse. The figure features the Pink Rangers bow with arrows, alternative hands and a selection of other MMPR weapons. We then moved into a Pink Ranger 2-Pack, which includes the Zeo Pink Ranger and the original MMPR Pink Ranger. Both come with alternative unmasked heads as well as weapons and alternative hands. The set also comes with a Katherine Hillard 'Kat' in her white cat disguise. This is also a Gamestop US exclusive, with limited stock on Hasbro Pulse. Outside the US both items are available via Fan Channel stockists. They have a late November 2021 release date. The other reveals were in the 1:1 scale role play range with a Pink Rangers helmet and a Pink Ranger Morpher. Both come with lights and sounds. Gamestop in the US has put a new Halo 2-pack up for pre-order from the Jazwares / Wicked Cool Toys 6-inch line, the Spartan collection. The set is a celebration of 20 years of the Halo franchise and includes two versions of Master Chief. The first is from Halo : Combat Evolved from 2001, while the other is the latest version from Halo Infinite in 2021. The set features four weapons that can be interchanged between both figures - we have two assault rifles, one for each of the Master Chiefs, as well as a Magnum and Disprutor weapon. Alternative hands are also included. This is a Gamestop exclusive in the US with pre-orders open and an October 19th, 2021 release date.
