We have known about the NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles release of Chrome Dome for some time now, but now we have the official solicitation of the figure and confirmation of its sheer size. Chrome Dome is a single release and will stand nearly 10-inches tall. He comes packed with twin swords, hand gun, a computer, and a selection of alternative hands. He will come packed in Ultimate style packaging with opening front flap. The box will be designed to resemble classic TMNT VHS artwork. As with all the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series releases, Chrome Dome will be a US Target exclusive and is due for release in August 2021. Based on the classic 1980s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series! After teasing it last week, Hasbro has unveiled their latest Transformers cross-over, this time with Jurassic Park, and their new boxset of the Tryrannocon Rex and the Autobot JP93. Tyrannocon Rex will transform from a T-Rex to robot form, while JP93 is a Ford Explorer in vehicle form, transforming to an Autobot with a blaster accessory. The display box set is an Amazon exclusive initially. It is open for pre-order now on Amazon US, with a November release date. It seems there is life left in the McFarlane Fortnite license, with a new Peely Bone figure listed today at a number of retailers for pre-order ahead of a September 2021 release. Peely Bone, from the 2019 Halloween Event, will comes with his pickaxe, grenade launcher, and backpack. He is window boxed, and the usual circular display base is included. Peely Bone is in an Epic Outfit in Battle Royale that was originally released in the Item Shop during Halloween in 2019. It is part of the Banana Bunch Set and has its own Fortnite Short. Took a weekend trip to my local Smyths today. I wasn't looking for anything in particular but was intrigued to see if they did have the new Marvel Legends Disney+ wave as these seem to have been delayed at a lot of the online specialist sites. The wave was indeed in place, all at £19.99, and with all of the figures bar Sam Wilson Captain America. The Star Wars section is gradually growing.with a solid selection of Vintage Collection figures and the latest Black Series waves. The previous wave peg warmers of Kuill and Greef Karga were reduced to £14.99. There was even two 40th Anniversary figures of Lando and a Tie Pilot at a fiver on the clearance stand. Jurassic World figures are moving over to the Camp Cretaceous branding and the new Scorpious Rex was in place alongside the Nedry Jeep and a number of other new dinosaurs. There has also been a restock of the Playmates Godzilla vs Kong figures with the Skull Crawler, Warbat and Atomic Roar Godzilla joining the Kong figure at £9.99 each. Nothing new on the Fortnite side other than a new peg of Jakks Pacific Apex Legends figures for £19.99 each. The only notable reduction was on the Jazwares WCT Halo Spartan collection figures with wave 1 at £14.99 each.

Iron Studios are going Back to their Future with this new release in their 1/10 scale Art Scale statue line - the first from the Back to the Future franchise. This debut piece is from Back to the Future 2 and that iconic scene as Marty escapes Griff Tannen on the hoverboard. The statue shows Marty, on the hoverboard, as he hovers over the small lake at Court Square, Hill Valley. This then sits on a plinth that is designed around the visuals of the DeLorean time machine. The new BTTF statue is a Quarter 2 release for 2022 and can be preordered now at the US RRP of $139.99 Chased by Griff Tannen and his gang, Marty McFly runs away in a familiar scene to the old Biff Tannen, Griff's grandfather, that watches it, as it is very similar to what he lived in 1955, in the first movie of the series. McFly is surfing a hoverboard, a floating board similar to a skateboard, which he borrowed from a little girl. Marty tries to balance himself by floating over a small lake at Court Square in Hill Valley in the future, but the challenge becomes even greater when he discovers that the hoverboard loses power over the water. UK retailer Collectable Kingdom has put two new McFarlane DC Multiverse figures up for pre-order. The Demon and King Shazam were first seen in May as part of the Previews World catalogue. We now have a full look at both figures. The Demon, taken from the Demon Knight storyline, features his curved sword. While King Shazam, from The Infected, will come with a pair of alternative hands. Hasbro and Marvel have shared a new image of an upcoming Marvel Legends figure of the variant Lady Loki, Sylvie, from the Disney+ series. The figure features Sylvie in her on-screen outfit and outer cloak and compete with her broken crown piece. She also features a sword accessory. The figure is a teaser image at this stage, there is no press release - nor is the figure up for preorder just yet. It is not confirmed if the figure is a single release like Mobius or part of a wave. The common theory is that Sylvie is the first figure from the next Disney+ wave which itself will be mainly made up of figures from the next Marvel Disney+ series, What If? Hasbro have promised more detail in due course, most likely via a 'Must Have' Marvel Monday, but is interesting as to why the figure wasn't revealed via this format anyway and why land on a Friday in late June? Announced in May 2021, the Tech-On series is a collaboration between Marvel Comics and the Tamashii Nations designers, to reimagine our favourite heroes with new Armoured Tech. Sixteen12 is a UK-based company who specialise in collector items from a number of UK classic sci-fi properties. In 2020 they announced a line of 6-inch figures from Space:1999 which would feature three members of the crew, two of which would be released in both their uniform and space suits. The figures were put up for pre-order in Summer 2020 but then withdrawn as Sixteen:12 decided on reworking the figures and the articulation with a view of improving all the figures beyond the original design. They also split the 5 into two waves, the first wave containing the space suit figures of Captain Alan Carter and Commander John Koenig. Carter would be a deluxe release with a Moon Buggy. The second wave would then be made up of John Koenig and Alan Carter in dress uniform along with Dr. Helena Russell. While wave 1 was planned for December 2020, there have been significant delays to the line. But we now have some new images from Sixteen12 and first look at the Moon Buggy accessory. The accompanying information with these images now has the release pushed back to September 2021.
