As James Gunn's Suicide Squad movie hits our cinema screens, Iron Studios have confirmed that they will be releasing a number of statues from the movie, starting with a 1/10 Art Scale statue of King Shark. The polystone statue shows King Shark in his board shorts, posed on a diorama base and with his mouth open and ready to snack on a leg of one of his victims. King Shark will be a 2nd Quarter release in 2022 (April-June). The corpulent creature, wearing only a pair of shorts, opens its deadly mouth, showing dozens of sharp triangular teeth, to enjoy a peculiar and bizarre snack. Ignoring the wounds and scars spread across his thick blue-gray skin, apparently relaxed, he is always ready and willing to satiate his constant and ravenous appetite. Represented in the statue "King Shark BDS Art Scale 1/10 - The Suicide Squad - Iron Studios", we present the most feared (and sometimes comical) ocean predator in the DC universe and member of the Suicide Squad. Created in comics by writer Karl Kesel in 1994, he has emerged as the enemy of the more contemporary version of Superboy. The son of a mythological being called the God Shark, Nanaue was born in Hawaii, and he is an anthropomorphic humanoid shark and has become better known as the King Shark. Nanaue, who has enhanced strength and endurance, can swim at high speeds and is resistant to low temperatures. With the physiology of a shark, it can breathe underwater, has many teeth, and has an avid anthropophagus appetite. In the film The Suicide Squad, written and directed by James Gunn, as well as in the comic book, King Shark is selected and recruited by Amanda Waller, the ambivalent director of the Suicide Squad's deadly missions. He is sent on a mission to the South American island nation of Corto Maltese, where they must destroy a prison and a laboratory that holds political prisoners and secret experiments. The Squad is a task force of convicted villains who work for the government in exchange for favors or reduced sentences. Depicted in CGI, Nanaue received the voice of legendary actor Sylvester Stallone. This is the first statue in Iron Studios' promising line derived from The Suicide Squad, pre-revealed in the third edition of Inside Iron Studios on its YouTube channel. The next NECA Predator release will be the unarmoured Assassin Predator from the 2018 Shane Black, The Predator, movie. This revised version of the 12-inch tall Assassin features an updated paint deco application as seen towards the end of the movie. The three new McFarlane figures from The Witcher (video game) revealed a couple of weeks back during Comic-Con week have now gone up for pre-order, and a full gallery of images have been released on the McFarlane website. Iron Studios have sent over details of a new 1/10 Art Scale statue from the iconic Chucky series of horror movies, specifically Child Play 2 (1990). The polystone piece features Chucky with knife hand poised as he stalks his next victim. He is posed on a diorama base that is based on the assembly line of the factory. Chucky will be a Q2 release in 2022. The unmistakable red-haired doll with colorful clothes is standing on the treadmill of one of the machines at the toy factory called Play Pals, where his plastic body was manufactured just like in the second film of his long trajectory in theaters. The doll appears with its lethal knife inserted in one of his fists, a sadistic smile on its face, and its big blue eyes focused on its next victim. The "Child's Play II Chucky - Art Scale 1/10 - Child's Play II - Iron Studios" statue arrives to add another cinema icon to Iron Studios' horror line. The item is already available for Pre-Order. During a chase through the streets of Chicago, Detective Mike Norris shoots fugitive and serial killer Charles Lee Ray. When Charles gets shot, he hides in a toy store and, already in pain, performs a Haitian voodoo spell, in which he transfers his soul to a doll named Good Guy. The toy is found by a street vendor, who sells it to a widow as a gift to her six-year-old son Andy. Lee Ray, who now lives in the doll's body, calls himself Chucky, and he tries to reverse the spell by transferring his soul to the boy's body because the longer he stays in this form, the more definitive, human, and vulnerable he will become. The killer villain then proceeds to use the seemingly innocent and fragile form of the toy to deceive his victims. In the second film, Andy ends up in an orphanage because his mother is in a mental hospital, and Chucky returns to chase him. The character, one of the most popular in contemporary horror, was created by Don Mancini in the 1988 film Child's Play and was played by actor Brad Dourif, both in live-action and voice-over. Chucky is the forerunner of a seven-film franchise and will get a TV series, which will premiere in October, in celebration of Halloween.
