The Eternals movie, despite being the debut of all its characters, is getting an almost unprecedented level of Marvel Legends releases ahead of its November 2021 launch. As well as a full MCU wave, the Eternals figures will be expanded with two exclusive figures. Selma Hayek's Ajak, the leader of the Eternals, is a Walmart Exclusive in the US and is available via the Fan Channel elsewhere in the world. The figure unusually skipped any pre-order period and went straight into stock on the 1st of October. The packaging is identical to the main Eternals wave and features a decadent gold theme on the nameplate, labelling and side art. The backing card also features a golden glow and graduates up to a blue hue with symbols and designs built into the central section. "The spiritual leader of the Eternals, Ajak can heal others and is able to communicate with the Celestials" As a brand new MCU character, Ajak is as far as I can tall a completely new sculpt with pinless joints across the body which aids the overall aesthetics. The robes and cape are softer materials that are positioned over the sculpted body, with the whole outfit done in a pearlescent blue with gold trim. There are some very intricate designs on the upper torso picked out in thin but neat gold lines. Similar designs then exist on the arms and down onto the legs, but these are not painted. Ajak features two head options, the first one featuring the ornate headdress which is coloured the same way as the outfit with a metallic blue sheen and gold trim. The likeness to Hayek is strong and the figure uses photo-real tech to good effect. The hair only flows down the back of the head - while the box art shows it flowing over the front of the shoulders as does the images we have so far of Ajak in the film. This may have been a design choice to maintain articulation or another decision made on early concept art rather than the finished costume. You get the same hairstyle on the alternative head, flowing down the back of the figure. The secondary head has an alternative smiling look, which ends up looking a little less like Selma Hayek for some reason. Both heads seem to sit too far forward on the figures slim neck, and perhaps both needed the hair to flow over the shoulders? Ajak features no accessories as such, just the alternative head and a second pair of hands that replace the clenched fists with open gesturing hands. Ajak has 16 points of articulation which is the average for a female body in the Legends line. The slimmer arms miss out on double joint elbows and as a result, they have no bicep swivel either. the arms are very expressive with a full range of motion, while in contrast the legs are held in check with the robes. The ankle rockers and feet shaping are good, allowing Ajak to stand and hold a pose really well. Ajak is listed as the leader of the Eternals, so if you are collecting the full set she is someone to grab pretty early considering the exclusive status. Revealed on day one of the Autumn Mezco Con is a new One:12 Collective set of Batman and Two Face. The full reveal will likely come in the next few months and the set will be a 2022 release at least.

Joining the 5Points XL Godzilla line will be a new set of Godzilla and Hedorah from the 1971 Godzilla vs Hedorah movie. The set was revealed at the Autumn Mezco Con and will be a 2022 release at the earliest

The Marvel Legends Mobius was the 2nd figure to be released from the Loki Disney+ series following on from Loki in the Summer 2021 Disney+ wave. Mobius uses the same packaging design and artwork as Loki, but is himself an Exclusive. He was released in late September 2021 in the UK as a Fan Channel Exclusive, and as of the start of October, he will head into Target stores in the US. "Mobius M. Mobius is an Agent for the Time Variance authority who specializes in the investigations of particularly dangerous time criminals" Mobius features a brand new Owen Wilson head sculpt and utilises the Photo Real technology to apply realism to the sculpt, including his mustache. The sculpt and face print combined leaves us with a good likeness to Mobius as we see him on screen. Mobius uses the existing Tony Stak suited body as a base, with a minor tweak on the belt to give Mobius the more ornate gold buckle he sports on the show. The jacket is a new piece over the Tony Stark shirt and the tie piece is also new - and while it looks short, it is accurate to how Mobius wears his tie on the show. Each part of the costume is cast in the base colour, so the painting on the body is limited to the belt and the shoes. Even with this limited application of paint, my Mobius arrived with a paint mark on his shirt and another on his right shoe. There are two accessories included in the set. The first is the Time Stick which is cast in a hard smooth plastic that gives it some crisp detail in the handle and the emitter end. The handle is left in black with a brown shaft and a further black emitter end that is enhanced with bronze around the mechanism. Mobius then gets his Tempad which is cast in gold and features a working hinge that allows the Tempad to be opened and closed. Inside we have a plain black screen as well as a black speaker. Silver, bronze and white details are added for the controls. Mobius has 19 points of articulation, all carried in from that original body, That means Mobius gets double jointed knees and elbows, but these are pinned and visible on the brown suit. It also means the neck joint carries the larger pivot which is visible under the chin. All of the joints do what they need to do and with no armour, robes or cloaks, Mobius is pretty extensive in articulation choices. The only niggle remains the ankles on these suited bodies where the shoes never seem to come in flat enough and the figure always feels unstable and is prone to falling backwards. It is great to see the Loki series figures growing with the addition of Mobius to accompany your Loki Variant and the two of them do look great displayed together - the choice of bodies does mean Loki stands a touch taller than Mobius as is the case on screen. As a Fan CHannel exclusive outside of the US, Mobius won't be overly difficult to obtain while US collectors will need to run the Target gauntlet. Welcome to Mephistu Bricks today I will be reviewing the new Lego set Marvel Lego Eternal's Aerial Assault 76149 first of all I had a blast building this set and it didn't take long either! The set includes Sprite and Icarus and a flying deviant the same one seems to be included in the celestial set lastly the box art is beautiful except Sprite who for some reasons looks terrible and without further ado lets get started As I said earlier the box art is great as are the rest all the little details in the back ground making the front of the box look like a scene from the movie. The box is small as are it's contents. The set costs £8.99 in the UK and is defiantly worth it. The minifigures have no arm or leg printing however the torso and leg printing make up for this . Icarus uses Han Solo's face print and his hair is a common piece, his accessories are two power blasts. Sprite uses no face print I recognize, she comes with two sais , her hair piece is also a common one. The deviant of this set is great for the price the building process is much like the recent marvel mech sets ( a lot of ball joints ) and is quite repetitive. The eyes are actually a print whereas the rest of the details are stickers the wings look amazing the blade pieces look great in a transparent blue. The build looks about as organic as Lego can get. The new Batman in Hazmat Suit from McFarlane's DC Multiverse line, as announced a few weeks ago, was listed on Target in the US overnight including the following gallery of images for the figure. The first four figures from McFarlane for the Netflix series of The Witcher have finally been unveiled and put up for pre-order at various retailers. The three-figure launch set will include Geralt of Rivia in his Season 1 armour, complete with his sword and a soft goods cloak. There will be two Geralt variants with a standard version and a 'Kikimora Battle' version which features an alternative head and what looks like a sword variant. While the variant might have been a potential Platinum (Chase) or Gold Label Exclusive - it seems this will be a general release with the other figures. We then have Jaskier, with his lute. Character Options have a second series of Doctor Who sets heading exclusively into B&M stores this October and the lineup is now revealed in full. The generic slimline plain body, that originated with Sharez Jek, is being cleverly utilised to bring us a pair of Androids as seen in Earthshock, complete with alternative attack hands. This three-pack also features a muddy deco Fifth Doctor and the Cyberbomb. And in the Five Doctors Set we find the plain body utilised again to debut the Raston Warrior Robot alongside a Five Doctors Cyberleader, with gun, and the Third Doctor. The Dalek Collectors Sets for Autumn will see the Evil of the Daleks (Set 6) arrive on shelves with a Drone and black domes Guard Dalek. We then move to a Planet of the Daleks Set (Set 8) that will include two 'army building' drones in the grey livery.They feature a new eyestalk piece that is based on one of the Daleks seen on screen. And the Autumn Sets don't end there as a TARDIS pack is included based on An Unearthly Child and featuring the First Doctor in his cape, hat, and scarf. The TARDIS base model includes an updated roof and lantern to match its 1963 debut as well as some tweaks to the windows. We expect the sets to start to arrive as a batch in October at some stage for the Christmas Toy market. The RRP should remain at the £19.99 price point. Earthshock (1982) collector figure set Based on the 1982 story where the Cybermen concoct a devious plan to explode a gigantic bomb on Earth and then launch a full scale invasion, this set features the Fifth Doctor in his slightly muddied attire as well as the twin cybernetic Androids plus the Cyber-Bomb they are guarding. The Androids were very memorable characters and these action figures feature swappable ‘attack’ hand accessories and come complete with the Cyber Bomb itself! The Five Doctors 1983 collector figure set This set is from the Classic Anniversary Story the Five Doctors in which the Doctor suffers some cosmic angst that’s revealed to be his other selves being removed from Time to the ‘Death Zone’ on Gallifrey, to aid the dictatorial Time Lord Borusa in his quest for entry to the Tomb of Rassilon. The set features the Third Doctor in his unique outfit from that story, a somewhat weathered Cyberman figure with blaster and for the first time, a figure of the very memorable Raston Warrior Robot. History Daleks #6 Evil of the Daleks 1967 collector figure set The Doctor Who ‘History of the Daleks’ sets have developed their very own fan base and are sequentially staggered as before, so again these next two sets are slightly out of order to rebalance the line. The #6 The Evil of the Daleks Set is from the 1967 Second Doctor story and features two detailed Dalek figures. The first is of the imperial guard Dalek seen towards the end of the story with its black dome and is joined by a standard silver ‘drone’ Dalek. The History of the Dalek sets have unique differences and this set has different deco and two different eyestalks for the Daleks in line the first appearance of the ‘pupil’ style eye in this story. History Daleks #8 Planet of the Daleks 1972 collector figure set This 1972 Dalek story was wildly ambitious in scope, intending to feature a full Dalek Army. The existing three props were therefore bulked out by the arrival of brand new Dalek props. The episode also gave the Daleks new voices. In the story the Daleks have enslaved the Planet Spiradon, and are carrying out experiments into invisibility and biological weapons. Meanwhile a group of Thals from the Daleks’ home planet are already trying to thwart their plans, but unbeknown, there is an army of 10,000 Daleks hidden on the planet. This ‘army builder’ set features two ‘drone’ style Daleks as seen in the story in their full black and metallic grey splendour. Both Daleks also have new eyestalks based on one of the variants seen onscreen. Never have the Daleks looked so purposeful, militaristic and threatening onscreen. The First Doctor and TARDIS ‘An Unearthly Child’ (1963) collector figure set In this story, upon entering an old Junkyard in Totters Lane, Shoreditch in a bid to locate a wayward pupil of theirs, schoolteachers Ian and Barbara encounter a mysterious stranger called the Doctor and his unworldly Time and Space machine TARDIS. The set features the First Doctor figure in his closed jacket and scarf plus the TARDIS. The TARDIS is also presented for the first time with a more correct ‘Brachacki’ style taller roof and Fresnel lamp of Season 1 plus additional ‘drip bars’ on the lower windows.
