Despite just finishing the two day Pulse Con 2021 event, it seems Hasbro are not done yet for October and new product reveals. They have announced Pulse Premium 1027, another live stream event complete with new product reveals. The event is exclusively for Pulse Premium Members and will will accessed via a member only link - to be shared via email ahead of the event. The event takes place on the 27th of October at 5pm UK time and is hosted by Steve Evans from Hasbro. One of the reveals appears to be a Ghostbusters Proton Pack replica, most likely a HasLab project. There were two MCU reveals for Marvel Legend at Hasbro Pulse Con, both attached to the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Up first is a new Winter Soldier figure. He is based on flashbacks from the series but will work just as well as for the Winter Soldier movie. He features a masked and unmasked Bucky Barnes head as well as a number of weapon options. The body looks to be the same as the original 2014 figure. There is then a Captain America 2-pack featuring the original Steve Rogers Cap from Avengers Endgame - a repack of the Worthy Cap, but without Mjolnir. Steve has both masked and unmasked head and his Shield. He is joined by the Sam Wilson Captain America from the finale of The Falcon & The Winter Soldier. This is the same figure as the recent Disney+ wave but does now feature an unmasked Sam Wilson head as well as spare hand and the Shield. The backpack is also included, but not the wings - although the figure will be compatible with the BAF wingsuit. Hasbro officially takes the reigns of the Fortnite 6-inch line this Autumn as their first products in the Victory Royale Series hit store shelves. At Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 we were shown the figures who would follow up on the launch waves for a Spring 2022 release to expand the Fortnite line. The first reveal was a Scientist Deluxe release. He is part of the Seven Collection which indicates other members of the Seven are planned. He will be the first electronic light up figure in the line, coming complete with LED's built into the head so the face plate lights up when a button is pressed. There will be 6 interchangeable face plates to light up, and the figure also features a cape back bling and harvesting tool. The standard releases will feature new figures of Ragsy, Funk Ops, Metal Mouth and Bushranger. Each of these will feature a harvesting tool and back bling as well as weapon and supply accessories. These will not be opened up for pre-order as yet, and there is no confirmed release date other than 2022. Medicom are returning to Avengers: Infinity War with their next MAFEX release, Loki. As seen at the start of the movie, Loki is dressed in his dark green robes with soft goods cape. He will come with two head options - one normal, one smiling - as well as two sets of twin daggers. And it wouldn't be Loki without also including the Tesseract. The Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 G.I. Joe panel showed off a selection of 2022 release products from the general release line, and the Target exclusive. The Classified Series will welcome a larger deluxe pack of the Cobra Reptile Trainer Croc Master and Fiona. We are also finally getting a classic Storm Shadow in his white gear, alongside Spirit Iron Knife who will come with Freedom the Bald Eagle. The Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 Power Rangers panel unveiled five new Lightning Collection Power Rangers figures for a 2022 release. In the single figure format we have a Wild Force Lunar Wolf Ranger, Dino Charge Pink Ranger, Dino Fury Red Ranger, and Zeo Cog. PIpeline reveals are becoming a regular thing at the Hasbro Star Wars panels, and the Hasbro Pulse Con event shared details of some of the figures they are working on and that we can expect to see in future waves. Heading our way for the 2nd half of 2022 are figures of Figrin D'an from the Cantina scene in A New Hope. We have Princess Leia in her Ewok outfit from Return of the Jedi. And from The Mandalorian, we have the New Republic Security Droids. Vintage Collection pipeline reveals were for Arc Trooper Jesse, Din Djarin from The Mandalorian in the Imperial Juggernaut Driver armour disguise, an Ahsoka 332nd Clone Trooper and a Mauldalorian Commando Captain. We have known that the HasLab 2021 Star Wars project will be the Rancor from Return of the Jedi. At the Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 Star Wars panel the beast was finally unveiled and a 45-day window to back the project was opened. The Rancor is the biggest Black Series item to date and will stand over 17-inches tall and can stretch the arms out to a 42-inch span. The creature will feature expansive articulation, including jointed fingers, butterfly shoulders, and an opening jaw. The beast will have 45 points of articulation in total. The project details are currently only showing an unpainted model of the Rancor, but we are also promised a premium paint job and '900 paint deco opportunities'. The HasLab Rancor needs 9000 backers by the 6th of December and if backed it will ship in the Spring of 2023, so there is quite a wait for your item. The UK price is £329.99 with the US paying $349.99. You will be charged just after the 6th of December if the project is backed. If we go beyond the 9000 backers there are four bonus tiers and additional items planned. The first tier kicks in at 11,000 backers and a second at 13,500. It is not known what the tiers are at this stage and the final two stages have no numbers confirmed. If the project follows suit with the HasLab Marvel Legends projects we can expect additional Black Series figure pack-ins such as Malakili the Rancor Keeper, or Oola (speculation at this stage). Back the Rancor via Hasbro Pulse in the UK and US/Canada. Other territory partners are yet to be announced but are likely to include Zavvi for Europe and Zing for Australia. Get to Know the Rancor The largest figure ever made by Star Wars: The Black Series. It dwarfs our standard 6-inch-scale figures… as it should. At 42 inches (106.68 cm) long, the Rancor’s arm span makes it wider than it is tall, helping recreate his formidable, inescapable presence. Its 12.8 inches (32.512 cm) deep (from nose to the back of the figure) and 12 inches (30.48 cm) wide body (from shoulder to shoulder) gives the Rancor substance and durability. Standing at 17.5 inches (44.45 cm) tall, the Rancor can stretch its arms up to give it an even more massive height of 27 inches (68.58 cm), allowing fans to replicate any of the fearsome roaring poses seen in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Over 45 points of articulation, the most ever done in The Black Series, all the way down to its talons. This gives the Rancor the ability to grab The Black Series 6-inch-scale figures in its talons and bring them up to its articulated jaw for a “snack”. After which, you may want to adjust the piece of drool by its mouth. The Black Series largest figure to ever have Butterfly joints, which allow the Rancor to be posed in just about any of the positions you’ve seen in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. They also let the Rancor cross its arms in front of its chest and outstretch them on either side of its body, increasing the menacing display possibilities. We’ve created a new standard in shoulder pad articulation and applied it to the Rancor for the most premium, top-of-the-line figure possible from The Black Series. The Rancor’s shoulder pads allow it to maintain its iconic monstrous aesthetic without inhibiting its movement. The Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 Star Wars Panel had four new Mandalorian themed figure releases for fans, starting with two new Deluxe Sets. The first features another Din Djarin figure, now with a corrected thigh armour piece, alongside Grogu and the Spider from the Maldo Kreis episode The Passenger. This set is exclusive to Target in the US and available through Hasbro Pulse and the Fan Channel in the UK. The long rumoured figure of Cobb Vanth from Season 2 is also being released as a Deluxe figure. He is wearing the Boba Fett armour and comes with his rifle and the jet pack. This is a figure that is difficult to justify as a Deluxe release as the accessories are not overly extensive - it is most likely the deco that has pushed him into the higher price bracket. The two basic releases will see the first appearance of a Mandalorian era Boba Fett in his Nomad robes as seen on Tython for the Season 2 story, The Tragedy. Boba Fett will include an outer soft goods robe and he is packed with his Gaffi stick and rifle. The final reveal is Migs Mayfeld, and his disguise from Season 2 wearing the Imperial Juggernaut Driver armour. The figure featurs a new Mayfeld head sculpt and removable helmet. The body will utilise part from the Mudtrooper figure from Solo. All of the figures are Spring 2022 releases and are general releases with the exception of the Mandalorian & Grogu set. Hasbro are releasing another batch of Star Wars Black Series multi-packs based on the Galaxy's Edge Disney Parks. Each set will be based on characters or creatures seen at the Galaxy's Edge Park or are associated with the narrative. Each set is essentially a combination of repacks and repaints with a couple of items thrown in that are likely to be quite sought after. We start with the Galactic Creatures set which finally see's the Kowakian Monkey Lizards (Salacious Crumb) be released for the first time since the SDCC Jabba Set. The set also comes with a Mynock (from the Han Solo SDCC set), Porgs and a Bogling first seen in a Jedi: Fallen Order Cal Kestis release. The first of the two larger sets is First Order themed and brings us a much improved General Hux with photo-real decor alongside a First Order AT-AT Driver, R5 Astromech and another MSE Droid. The final set is a Droid Depot set that brings us a new Imperial Security Droid K-7R1 using the K-2SO sculpt with updated grey & black paint job. CB-23 from Resistance is a new BB unit using parts of the BB8 figure with a new dome. The set brings us a brand new Pit Droid and also manages to pack in a Battle Droid and a Babu Frik to maintain them all. The sets are exclusive to Disney Parks but according to the Hasbro Live Stream they will also be available at Shop Disney, so unlike the first batch these sets will be orderable from Disney Store rather than having to visit the park. And that of course means access for UK collectors. We expect to see these sets in Spring 2022.
