Super7 Toys are expanding their Ultimates line of figures even further this year with the addition of Toho's Godzilla franchise to the line We don't quite know what is in store, but all will be revealed on the 16th March 2022. For now we have these teaser images to whet our appetite.

This figure was kindly sent over to us to review courtesy of Hasbro UK Over the past few years, Hasbro has released a number of 1:1 scale replica items in their Marvel Legends line including the Iron-Man helmet, Captain America's Shield, and versions of Thor's Stormbreaker and Mjolnir. The latest addition to the line was badged as part of the Infinity Saga Series and took the shape of the Iron-Man Nano Gauntlet as seen in Avengers: Endgame. The piece comes boxed in a dark black rectangular package that is illustrated with images of the Nano Gauntlet as well as some calls outs of the key features. Inside the gauntlet is packed around a shaped cardboard interior to keep it safe. The first job out of the box is to install the batteries which - as illustrated in the included instruction leaflet - are contained behind a clip-off panel at the base of the piece. The Gauntlet takes three AAA batteries which are not included. With the batteries installed and the cover panel repositioned we can now look at the Gauntlet which measures nearly 18 inches from base to fingertips. It is cast in red gloss plastic with gold and gunmetal silver added panels over the top. There are slots for each of the Infinity Stones and we will explore that shortly. On the palm section, we have a circular repulsor, although this is coloured silver and not as we might expect the glowing white. This underside also presents with a lot of exposed screw holes and fixings, these are not as well hidden as perhaps they are on some of the other roleplay items. The piece is designed as an adult role-play item and can be worn. To help with this there is a hinge in the wrist area, and each of the fingers has a rubber base to them allowing the fingers to be moved - although you won't have full grip or motion as you would have in a glove. This rubber is also going to be the weak spot of the piece and will deteriorate. While this made for an adult I found I could not get my hand through the slimmest part - the wrist - and therefore cannot wear the glove. Unlike the helmets, there are no adjustable options for different sizes. For reference, I do not have excessively large hands and wear just a Large glove (palm width of just under 4 inch) for work purposes. I mentioned the empty slots earlier and in the box you will find a pack of all six Infinity Stones, making your task much easier than that of Thanos or the Avengers. Each stone is shaped with a rugged gem-like top section but a more smooth central piece and flat base to fit into the sockets. They are cast in translucent plastic which we will see then lights up as they are installed into the glove. You don't have to remember the order as such for the gems as each one is shaped with a rear socket which means they only fit in their identified socket. There is some magnetic tech used also that pulls them into position (which feels really cool) and once in place, the gem lights up, and the sound FX kicks in. As you work through the gems the Sound FX seems to build in intensity until the final gem is added and the glove powers up fully with more sounds and a flashing pattern on the Infinity Stones. They then stay lit up for a period of time until the battery saver kicks in and the Sound FX plays a powering down the piece and the lights go out. You can re-engage the lights by pressing any of the stones, each one playing a slightly varied piece of FX. There is a final feature included which requires you to be wearing the glove (my son had to do this for me). When you click your fingers the final piece of FX plays as the Infinity Stones are activated. The Iron-Man Infinity Gauntlet is certainly a wearable piece for those with smaller hands, but its beauty is in display functionality. Like the other Infinity Gauntlets before it, the Gauntlets stands in an upright position - without any need for stands or brackets - and presents as a centre-piece of any Marvel Cinematic Universe Collection, either alongside other roleplay items or perhaps in a mixed collection with Marvel Legends figures. It is not cheap and retails around £120, but for the size and with all of the built-in lights and sounds to tinker with, it certainly put a smile on my face and will be a great focus in my MCU collection. This figure was kindly sent over to us to review courtesy of Hasbro UK While both Iron-Man and Captain America were given a Marvel Legends release from the final battle of Avengers: Endgame, Thor's sole figure from that movie was Odinson in his dressing gown from the earlier part of Endgame. The Infinity Saga series, released in the Summer of 2021, corrected that omission including a brand new Thor figure from the final battle with Thanos as well as some updated lighting effects and both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker. Like the other Infinity Saga sets, the box is a simple rectangle without the scooped sides we usually see on the standard Legends releases. The black base colour is overlaid with the Infinity Saga logo under the main window and the Endgame logo in the top left. Each side panel has a metallic, almost holographic, montage of key Infinity Saga characters - both sides being a slightly different view of the same wider image. There is no larger connectible artwork here and every side spine on the Infinity Saga releases is identical. The back of the box has an image of the Endgame movie poster and a brief piece of text about Thor, "Armed with Stormbreaker and Mjolnir, the son of Odin steps onto the battlefield to face Thanos one final time." Thor's look in Endgame includes a more rugged, Viking-like, hair and beard, and the figure recreates this beautifully in a brand new head sculpt. Thor's likeness to Chris Hemsworth is one of the best to date and includes the white "God of Thunder" eyes as well as other details applied via the face print tech including the scar over his right eye and the shading around the nose and eyes. The upper hairpiece includes tied back strands of hair at the rear as well as flowing locks down the back and sides. The beard includes an intertwined weave and a tied end. All of the hair elements are painted in a golden brown with darker brown added to add definition. The whole piece is a triumph and one of the better MCU's likenesses of the recent releases. The body has been sculpted for Thor's bulkier look from Endgame with a wider and broader torso and thickening of the thighs in particular. The arms are new and as is the cloak that falls from the shoulders and is shaped down and round the back of the figure. The majority of the body is cast in a dark grey plastic with a slight gloss for the black metallic armour sections. More black gloss is used on the round armour of the torso and on the wrist bracers to create more definition. a bronze trim is also utilised on the base of the chest armour and around the side of the thighs. The cape is cast in black and then painted red, and it is impressive how bright the red colour is against such a dark undercoat colour. There are some very minor niggles where the red doesn't quite cover the black at all the edges, but none are obvious unless you are inspecting Thor at very close quarters. Thor gets both of his weapons in this set, both of which are taken from earlier releases of Thor. Both Stormbreaker and Mjolnir are given a decorative makeover with the heads of each cast in a translucent blue which then has some silver paint applied in parts to mimic the powered look of each weapon. Both then include a brown wooden handle, Stormbreakers being slightly darker and more natural in the wood grain and twists. Mjolnir ends with a silver cap and the strap which hangs off using a softer plastic. Thor can hold either weapon in either hand without issue. We also have an alternative pair of open outstretched hands and two lighting effects to further enhance this powered-up version of Thor. The hands swap out easily enough and the lightning pieces - cast in translucent blue - can then be wrapped around the forearms/hands or around the shaft of each weapon. It is not an exact science and the pieces are not engineered for a specific role as such so you do have to play around a little with them - wrapping and coiling into place - to find a setup you like for display. Thor is a pinless body that enhances the visuals for the figure, while still having a total of 19 points of articulation. While he picks up double-jointed elbows and knees, he is lacking butterfly shoulders although the lack of these isn't really noticeable when posing. The figure is expressive enough with the hands, while the other joints are more restricted either by the hair for the neck or the cloak for the legs. While I am not sure I want to see Legends go down the soft goods route, Thor is certainly a figure that would benefit from a well-done cloth-based cape, with posing wire, both in terms of looks and articulation. The Infinity Series Thor from Endgame ticks a big box that the main Legends line missed for the Endgame releases bringing us the bad-ass powered Thor we all wanted from the final battle to sit alongside our Mk85 Iron-Man and worthy Captain America. He is brand new throughout, and I guess represents the trade-off of a line like the Infinity Saga between re-use and tweaks and bringing us the brand new figures into the line such as Thor, but also for Odin, Quicksilver, Iron Monger and Surtur. There is little to criticise with the Infinity Saga Thor and I am surprised he is still relatively easy to find on store shelves and is not yet climbing on the secondary market. Everything about the figure is well-considered and even the lightning effects - which aren't everyone's cup of tea - do look the part once you've fiddled and coaxed them into position. McFarlane's Grifter figure from the DC Multiverse series was revealed late last week, and the figure has now opened up for pre-orders with a general release and an expected delivery date of June 2022. Grifter is taken from the Infinite Frontier series and will come with sword and knife accessories as well as a collectible card and a circular display base. A mercenary with a black ops past, Cole "Grifter" Cash has a shot at redemption when he's hired to be the personal bodyguard of billionaire Lucius Fox. Cash is playing a deadly game, however, tangling with Batman and his family as well as the evil Leviathan organization, all while secretly working for a mysterious team known only as the WildC.A.T.s. This 7-inch scale figure is designed with McFarlane's signature Ultra Articulation with up to 22 moving parts for full range and posing. A set of images have been shared across social media of a new McFarlane DC Multiverse 2-pack of Batman vs Hush. The set uses the newly announced Hush figure, but with an updated head. He is armed with a shovel. Batman looks to use the original Detective Comics figure as a base with a new head and cloak. He is armed with two Batarangs. The set will then include both the usual circular display stands and a joint diorama base that also includes a slot-in headstone that reads "here lies Jason Todd" We can expect the set in June 2022. Batman: As a child, Bruce Wayne watched as his parents were brutally killed in Gotham City’s Crime Alley. Traumatized by their deaths, he devoted his life to becoming the world’s greatest weapon against crime—the Batman! This set was kindly sent over to us to review courtesy of Hasbro UK Hasbro's Marvel Legends Infinity Saga sets were released in the Summer of 2021 and provided a revisit of several key Infinity Saga MCU films to either create figures for missing characters like Odin and Happy Hogan, or to update existing characters and figures. While the 10 figure set did span the full breadth of the Infinity Saga, three of the ten sets were based on the cumulation of the Infinity Saga, Avengers: Endgame. The Endgame 2-Pack of Captain Marvel and Rescue brought us an updated Captain Marvel with her shorter hair and updated suit, while Rescue was given an overhaul vs the original release from 2019. The set is an Amazon exclusive and will often come shipped initially in a brown sealed outer shipper. The Infinity Saga, like the previous standalone series of 'First Ten Years' and the 80th Anniversary, forgo the scooped side Legends packaging for a more traditional squared-off window box. The movie logo sits on top of the window, while the Infinity Saga logo sits on the bottom rail with the character names, and is repeated on the two sides. These sides carry a montage image of various MCU characters in a metallic foil finish. Both sides show differing views of the wider image, but they are the same on all the Infinity Saga sets and they don't combine for anything larger. The rear of the packaging carries a central panel that recreates the Endgame movie poster. Either side of this is a short piece of text about the two included figures. "Captain Marvel uses her incredible powers to battle evil in the ultimate fight for the fate of the universe" "Outfitted with repulsors and a unibeam, Pepper's Rescue suit is ready to step into battle against Thanos" In the box itself is a cardboard tray that carries a variety of circular symbols relating to the heroes of the MCU and the inner plastic tray sits within this. Captain Marvel uses the original 2019 Captain Marvel body but with the updated Endgame paint job. This moves to deeper shades of red and blue and a brighter gold across the chest star and upward as trim to either side of the shoulders. The body is cast in blue plastic in the main with the red applied as paint and the gold over the top of this and that leads to a couple of areas where the painted colour doesn't fully cover the blue - it's most visible on the central star and on the biceps. A new sash section has been added to the body as a new floating piece. It is also cast in blue with gold added to the buckles around the central belt. While this is not fixed into position, it cannot be removed as it is shaped so the hips keep it in place - it can however move up and down with the leg articulation as required. The head sculpt is new and is an improved likeness to Brie Larson vs the original head sculpts from 2019, utilising the photo-real print application to good effect. The hair is now shorter, as per her Endgame appearance, and is shaded in a couple of blonde shades to add depth. As the figure is using the older 2019 body the neck does include a visible pivot but it is far enough up and under the head so that it does not pose a problem. Because the older body is used it does have the added benefit of accepting any of the older Captain Marvel heads if you are seeking an alternative look. Carol arrives with a pair of clenched fist hands, and the set then includes two further sets for use. There is a pair of splayed hands and a similar pair where the fingers are closer together and bent inward in a half gripping pose. These alternative hands are cast in blue and are not painted in any way, they swap in and out easily enough but due to the slimmer build of Danvers the peg is slimmer than usual and you have to be careful where you hold the arm so not to pull out the elbow joint. It would have been nice to include the existing binary powered effects for Captain Marvel, but sadly not - instead Hasbro has gone for the Infinity Power Gauntlet, a new accessory that is cast in a metallic Iron-Man red and with painted detail added with the gunmetal central band and each individual Infinity Stones. Carol can stick the Gauntlet under her arm using those gripping hands to cup it - as we see in the film - or you can let your imagination run a little wilder and take off Danver's right hand and put the Gauntlet in its place. The Gauntlet is not engineered to clip into Carol's wrist but is shaped so it holds in position over the forearm. Captain Marvel has 16 points of articulation with visible pins on the double-jointed knees. While she may be a little lacking in the articulation count, the joints we do get can achieve plenty including kneeling options, dynamic fighting stances, or even flying poses with an appropriate flight stand. The hip joints are a little wide and the joint is visible within which is a little unsightly, this issue did exist on the original 2019 release but the red plastic does mean it is now more visible. All the other joints are secure and tight without any significant issues. Pepper Pott's Rescue Suit is also a re-use of the original figure from 2019. It is cast in a metallic blue plastic with gold panels added over the top, Silver is used on the wrist weaponry, while a white arc reactor is added to the centre of the chest. The applied gold paint is a little rough in places if you get up close to the figure. The overall deco is finished with some applied decals on the backpack identifying this as the Mk 49 Rescue suit The original figure only had a full helmet head, so this Infinity Saga revisit brings us not one but two Pepper Potts head sculpts. The first, as presented out of the box, is a fully uncovered Gwyneth Paltrow head with her tied-back hair. I thought this may be the same head as the Iron-Man 3 Pepper Potts - but it does look new and is a better overall likeness with smaller eyes and a closer resemblance to Paltrow in the overall shape of the cheeks and mouth. The head clips on the neck of the Rescue body without issue, but it does sit a little too high and shows too much of what feels like a very elongated neck underneath. The second head is the unmasked head where Pepper is wearing the Rescue Armour helmet, but the faceplate is retracted. This is not quite as good of a likeness and the eyes on this one have been treated quite heavy-handedly vs the fully unmasked head and it looks a little exaggerated. This head sits lower on the neck and the chin is placed further down so there is less of an issue in terms of the neck length. The final third head option is the original full closed helmet, cast and painted in the same colours of the body and shaped to the neck length. As the figure shares the body with the original 2019 Rescue release, the heads are all interchangeable across the bodies so your original figure can be updated with one of the spare unmasked heads if you wish. Rescue does not have accessories as such but includes a different configuration for the backpack. As seen and included on the original Rescue, the closed backpack can be swapped for an open version which includes the extended flight manoeuvring flaps. The top set of these is fixed and carry the same blue outer colour as the rest of the body and the RESCUE and 0049 decals. The two lower inner panels are articulated on a simple pivot to allow them to be extended or withdrawn. This 2021 version then takes the backpack one step further by including two additional parts that represent the Autonomous Energy Displacer Sentries. It is not initially clear on how these attach to the body and no instructions are included. After a lot of fiddling and checking out some online images, these are designed to swap with the small inner flaps. The smaller dark grey inner panels clip out and the larger clear arm bracket of the deployed weapon panels slots into place. This gives you the deployed Sentry look although all the panels are connected rather than the self levitating panels we see during the final battle. It might have been good if Hasbro could have added clear plastic joints between each panel to get closer to this deployed look. Each of the deployed arms is articulated in four places allowing the Sentry Weapons to be articulated around the body and moved up and down within the confines of the base joint. Each panel is painted in the same blue as the body, although with a lesser metallic finish, with light blue sections added for the powered weapon emitters. The final pair of accessories for Pepper is a pair of ice blue translucent repulsor blasts, the same part that has been doing the rounds on Iron-Man figures for many years now. Oddly there is no spare hand, or hands, with a socket to allow Rescue to wield these as though firing through the hand repulsors. That leaves them only able to connect to the feet for flight poses which then require a flight stand. The main Rescue body has 18 points of articulation and is one of the few MCU female bodies to date that does get double joint elbows with an upper bicep swivel. The knees and elbows are pinned with the joints visible, but this double joint allows for plenty of movement for Rescue including the ability to kneel - albeit a little awkwardly due to the shape of the thigh armour - and to pose in flight poses. As a two-pack, Captain Marvel and Rescue present a good addition for Avengers: Endgame in terms of bringing us a movie-accurate Captain Marvel and updating the existing Rescue figure with unmasked heads and improved deployed weapon accessories. Considering there are very few new parts in the circa £50 set, I'd have liked to see additional repulsor hands for Rescue allowing the blast effects to connect. And for Captain Marvel to have some powered pieces. As an Amazon Exclusive you are of course tied in to ordering these via Amazon but the prices have been favourable in recent months. This will be another 2-pack exclusive that will sell out and then jump in value, especially considering we are unlikely to see a Pepper Potts Rescue again on screen and that Captain Marvel is pretty likely to have a costume update for The Marvels. This set was kindly sent over to us to review courtesy of Hasbro UK The Marvel Legends Infinity Saga series was released in the Summer of 2021, spread over ten sets. The mix of single and double pack releases revisited some of the key films of the MCU Infinity Saga and brought us figures of characters we had not seen in the line before, as well as fixing a few older figures. The Iron-Man 3 set gave Happy Hogan his Marvel Legends debut as well as adding another Iron-Man into the Hall of Armour by way of the Mk XXI 'Midas' suit. The set was a Target US exclusive but sold generally elsewhere by way of the Fan Channel distribution. You can still pick it up via sites like Amazon UK and other specialist stores at the time of writing. Like all the Infinity Saga sets, the two-pack comes in a squared off box, losing the scalloped sides we see on the main Legends releases. It is black in colour with the Infinity Saga logo front and centre under the window with the movie logo in the corresponding position at the top. To the side of this sits the Legends logo. The two side panels are created in a reflective finish and illustrated with a myriad of characters from the Infinity Saga movies. The two panels are slightly different views of the same montage - and these are the same on every pack, they do not build to a larger image as we saw with the sets for 'The First Ten Years'. The rear of the box includes the movie poster for IM3 and to either side of this is a short piece of text about the two figures within. Neither goes into any details for the plot of the film. "Stark Industries' new Head of Security gets caught in the middle of the battle as Iron Man gears up to face an all new powerful threat" "Mark XXI, codename "Midas," is a fully loaded high-altitude suit built by Stark that's outfitted with enriched gold titanium alloy." Happy Hogan is sculpted as seen in the 2011 Iron-Man 3 so he is clean-shaven and with a shorter hairstyle than we see in his more recent appearances in the MCU. There is a good likeness to Jon Favreau which comes from a combination of strong sculpt as well as the use of the photo-real face application to bring out the shading on the face and the eyes in particular. While there are a number of suited bodies around for Marvel Legends, the Happy figure looks to be all new introducing a heavier set body that has future potential for both comic & MCU figures (Kingpin?). While the legs and torso appear new, the arms and hands are the same as used for the Logan figure back in 2020. The main body parts are cast in black plastic while the torso uses the white of the shirt as a base. The jacket top is added as a rubber sleeve and is ever so slightly different in shade to the arms - there is also quite a large gap under the arms exposing the white shirt within. The tie similarly is an added rubbery piece. The only deco added is to the belt with a silver buckle against the glossier black belt strap. Stark's 'Forehead of Security' features a single set of hands and a single accessory - a mobile phone. This is not easy to do at this scale, and the result is the slimmest and most delicate piece of black plastic with some decals added to create a phone screen. It is perhaps too small for the figure and just about sits in the right hand. Articulation for Happy is 19 points in total and despite being a guy in a suit, he still gets full double-jointed elbows and knees, waist swivel, and ab-crunch. The leg articulation is pinless, while the arms do have the joints as they are an older donated set. Happy has plenty of posing potential and is quite expressive when posed either talking on the phone or perhaps adjusting his tie. All the joints are tight and secure and there are no issues with stability when Happy is posed. The Mk XXI 'Midas' suit is one of a number of Tony's Iron-Man suits seen in the climax of Iron-Man 3 as the House Party Protocol brings them into play. The figure re-uses the Mk 7 Iron-Man figure released in 2018 and gives it a full paint job. There is essentially not a huge amount wrong with this considering the Midas suit was based on the Mark 7 technology. The Mk7 proportions are much better than the earlier Iron-Man figures which were all a tad undersized. This newer body stands 6.75 inches tall and is better scaled next to Tony Stark or other 'human' characters. The suit is cast in a gold plastic which is not quite metallic but does carry a sheen as we'd expect from a metal armoured suit. Over the base plastic, we have painted panels in a more metallic gold finish to add some variation to the overall finish. We see these on the helmet faceplate, chest panel, shoulder armour and down both arms and legs. Further detail is added with gunmetal silver on the shoulders on either side of the head, and grey is used in the joints of the elbows and knees. While Happy got his phone, the Midas suit comes with a more generous offering with an alternative pair of hands and two repulsor blasts. These are again the same as included in the Mk7 Iron-Man release. The repulsor effects are designed to plug into sockets in the palms of the hands and also in the holes in the feet for flight poses - although for this you will need a flight stand. Articulation starts at the rear of the figure where there are four manoeuvring fins, each sitting on a hinge joint that allows them to sit flush against the body or to be extended outwards. On top of the rear panels are 18 other points of articulation giving the Midas suit a wide range of posing options. The arms can be extended outwards into firing positions, with the shoulder armour moving with them by way of a flexible hinge. Kneeling is more difficult so he won't be doing any superhero landings, but there is movement in the leg for flight poses or wider battle stances. The Happy Hogan and Midas set was perhaps the least desired set of the whole Infinity Saga series. While Happy Hogan was a welcome addition to the MCU Legends, many felt an Iron-Man 2 themed set was the better choice with either a Whiplash or a Mk5 Iron-Man alongside this Happy figure - with Happy coming with the Mk5 suitcase. The Midas suit did have very little screentime in IM3 and without commitment to a full Hall of Armour series, collectors will always look for figures who had more screen time. There is nothing wrong with the execution of the set itself and both the figures are well designed and well painted, and where parts and other figures are re-used the choice to do so is a sensible one. Happy does suffer from the gap in his coat that is very visible at the sides where the Logan arms are perhaps a little too slim for the heavy set torso. The phone accessory is also a little weak and non-descript and needed to be a little bigger to help with posing. In the long run, any additions to older MCU properties should be welcomed and if we support them with our wallets then future revisits such as the Mk5 suit or Whiplash are still feasible. This figure was kindly sent over to us to review courtesy of Hasbro UK Released in 2021, the Infinity Saga range of Marvel Legends was a revisit of figures and characters from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe and its first three phases. It followed a similar ethos as the 2018 First Ten Years Sets and the 2019 sets for the 80th Anniversary, sitting outside the main Marvel Legends line with specific packaging and aesthetics. Like many of the early MCU films, Thor (2011) pre-dates the Marvel Legends line as we know it, and while films like Iron-Man at the time did have a number of 6-inch figures released, Thor saw only a solitary Thor and a larger Destroyer figure released at the time of the movie. In fact it has taken us 10 years to get to a dedicated Marvel Legends release for Thor's debut movie, with this Infinity Saga release of Odin. The All-Father arrives in a single figure squared-off box with side art depicting characters from the Infinity Saga in a metallic sheen finish. This artwork is slightly different on each side, but it is the same on all the Infinity Saga releases - there is no extended montage of images as we saw with the First Ten Years sets. The Thor logo sits top left with the Legends logo to the right-hand side. The Infinity Saga is the largest logo just under the window, with the character name beneath as simply 'Odin'. The back of the box carries an image of the original movie poster for the 2011 film and a short piece of text that reads "The king of Asgard, protector of the Nine Realms, and father of Thor, Odin has learned to appreciate peace over the centuries" Odin, as far as I can tell, is a full new sculpt and is based on his fully armoured appearance in the original Thor movie. This includes a sculpted armored chest from which flows his red cloak, cast in a slightly softer plastic. The armour extends to the bracers on his forearms and his boots and the whole ensemble is given a gun-metal grey base with gold details added over the top - with a bright metallic bronze used where the cloak attaches to the armour. Under all this is a quilted brown suit that makes up the legs and upper arms. This is cast in the base colour and carries no further paint applications. A softer plastic belt is wrapped around Odin's waist in the gunmetal finish with gold detailing. The armour is finished with Odin's ornate horned golden helmet that I assumed was fixed but it turns out to be removable. The finish is not quite metallic, but it matches the gold used on the armour. It too is a slightly softer plastic and engineered along with the head itself for a snug fit. The head sculpt for Odin is an excellent likeness for Anthony Hopkins and includes a fully sculpted beard as well as flowing hair which is slightly flattened at the side to allow the helmet to slip neatly and naturally into place. The head uses the photo-real technology to capture the lines and definition of Odin's face and his one good eye - while the eye patch is a painted piece and is a little lacking in full coverage around the sides. There is then a second head included in the set giving a 3rd distinct look for Odin. This seems to be a tweaked version of the first head with a fuller hair section which means it does not work with the helmet so can only be displayed as it stands. It includes an open mouth in a slight smile, with Odin's teeth sculpted into the head. This is perhaps a slightly weaker likeness purely on the back of this expression. I can't tell if the intention was to make Odin look like he was smiling, or if this is meant to be a more grim snarling expression that would be more fitting for the All-Father. The heads swap in and out easily enough although as seems to be common these days, the spare head is tighter on the first application, and then afterward the head fitted on arrival feels a bit looser - this may vary across sets. Odin is packed with Gungnir, the Spear of Odin. It is cast and coloured in a base gold plastic that doesn't quite go far enough to make it look metallic. The details on the Spear are visible but need a wash or secondary paint application to bring out the detail and to come close to matching the metallic tones of the amour. The Spear fits into either of Odin's hands, with both giving a sufficiently tight grip on the spear and combining for two-handed weapon posing. There are two further hand options included in the set with a gesturing left hand with a more open palm posture, and a clenched fist for the right hand. All of these are easy enough to swap in and out. Odin's articulation is very much controlled by the shape and material used for his cloak, a similar restriction we have seen on Thor figures through the years. While the figure has a full 20 point of articulation count - including a pair of butterfly shoulders within the chest section - you will find the legs unable to do much more than wider standing positions without the cloak hitting the ground. Similarly, the shape of the cloak holds in the left shoulder in particular, leaving the right the only limb with a full range of motion. That being said, Odin does have a fully pinless body which drives improved aesthetics, and this is Odin so all he really has to do is stand and look regal and imposing which the figure does really well. Out of all the Infinity Saga releases, Odin is perhaps the one I was least looking forward to, but has since become my favourite of the full range! While he is a great figure with a couple of varying display options, he also represents the desire by the Marvel Legends team to drop back and revisit older MCU properties (that are not Iron-Man relates) and to bring us secondary and tertiary characters to expand our MCU display. Odin has played a huge part in the MCU within the three Thor films and this figure also represents a base for a Thor 2 variant version with the longer robes, and even the more far-out possibility of dropping the Odin head onto a suited body for a Ragnarok version after he is trapped on Earth. I also hope this is not the last visit to Thor (2011) by the Marvel team and that there remains hope for The Warriors Three and perhaps a deluxe Frost Giant. McFarlane continue to drip feed us new releases, with the latest reveal from the DC Multiverse being Red Robin from New 52. The figure is 'coming soon' so we would expect more details in the next week or so and a Summer 2022 release.

The Foundation, the fourth member of The Seven, was one of the first Fortnite Victory Royale figures revealed by Hasbro. At the time the release was Spring 2022 and the images were digital renders. As we now move closer to the release date - now listed as April by retailers - the imagery has been updated to shots of the figure itself. Hasbro appears to be releasing all of The Seven in these Zero Crisis exclusive editions with The Scientist also revealed to date. The special packaging will feature an opening front flap, and the figure itself comes with alternative hands, cape back bling, the 'brella glider, and a dynamic display stand. The fourth member of The Seven has appeared. The Foundation and Agent Jones sealed the Zero Point in a tower of stone during the Zero Crisis Finale in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6. Two more McFarlane DC Multiverse figures have been unveiled via listings on the Walmart website in the US. The first is Wally West as The Flash in the red suit as seen in DC Rebirth. He features a selection of speed force effects that can be attached to his arms, legs, and feet. He is listed as a Walmart Exclusive but he should get a wider release outside of the US, including via specialist stores here - but we await confirmation. He comes with a display stand and collector card. The second figure is the Anti-Crisis Wonder Woman. This all-gold paint job is applied over the existing Death Metal Wonder Woman with an updated head sculpt. Despite McFarlane having a tendency to paint figures gold and call them chase figures, this one is accurate to the Death Metal Comics where the Anti-Crisis Wonder Woman is depicted as all gold from the Anti-Crisis energy. She will feature her Lasso of Truth chainsaw as well as the display stand and collectors card and again is a Walmart Exclusive. While visiting the lab of his uncle-to-be, Barry Allen, the young Wally West was caught in a freak electrochemical accident which gave him the superpowers of the Speed Force, the extra-dimensional energy that powers all speedsters. Wally then became The Flash's protege, Kid Flash, and eventually took on the mantle of The Flash after Barry sacrificed himself to save the universe in Crisis on Infinite Earths. But, in the years since, Wally found himself trapped out of time and space after another crisis-level event. In the end, Wally was able to break free of this nothingness and return home to become The Flash once again! Following the universe-shattering events of Dark Nights: Metal, the Earth is enveloped by the Dark Multiverse and has transformed into a hellish landscape twisted beyond recognition.
