The Marvel Legends Gamerverse Spider-Man from the upcoming 2023 video game was revealed initially in late 2022. The figure has now been fully solicited ahead of an August 2023 release date. The release will roughly coincide with the PS5 release of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 game which is listed as an Autumn 2023 release. Hasbro have confirmed that the Marvel Legends Franklin Richards will be part of a two-pack alongside his sister and fellow Fantastic Four member Valeria Richards. The set will include a selection of accessories including lab equipment. The set will also include a Moloid Turg head which comes with a bell jar case and a stand. Another four DC Multiverse figures have opened for pre-orders from McFarlane this week. The four figures have been revealed previously but we can now see the full gallery of images. From Arkham Knight is the Earth-2 Batman and from Arkham City we have the Riddler. We then have two Megafigs with Kalibak from the Darkseid War, and Fulcum Abominus from Dark Nights: Metal. Hasbro's first Power Rangers Fan First Live Stream Event had a batch of new figures to reveal ready for release later in 2023. Up first was a new wave of Lightning Collection figures that included Dino Thunder Black Ranger, Dino Thunder Mesogog, Lost Galaxy Pink Ranger, and Dino Fury Blue Ranger. They will be joined by a 2-pack of Tenga Warriors. All of these are live for pre-order as of the 17th of January 2022. The wave is planned as a June 2023 release. For some reason, the Edgin (Chris Pine) figure from Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves was not revealed and listed alongside the other Hasbro Golden Archive figures of Simon, Holga, and Forge Fletcher. NECA's Universal Monsters black & white Ultimate Dracula figure has opened for pre-orders and with this has come the full set of NECA's promotional images. Bodhi Rook was the missing character from Rogue One for nearly 5-years, but in 2021 Hasbro plugged the gap by releasing a Bodhi 6-inch Black Series figure as part of their Rogue One Galaxy Collection Wave which also saw the original characters re-released with photo-real face technology. Bodhi is an impressive release both in terms of sculpt and likeness, and his large communication reel backpack that features a working wind in and out feature. Over in the US, the DC Multiverse Gold Label Aquaman from McFarlane has gone up for sale at Target. The figure is part of a Target exclusive Flashpoint wave that will be released in stages through the year - as yet, the other figures in the wave are unknown apart from the included build-a-figure, a Flashpoint Cyborg. Aquaman comes packed with his Trident, Cyborg BAF Torso, stand, and collectible card. It is available now via Target in the US. It is unlikely to come to the UK until all the wave is revealed so will be a late 2023 release when it does cross the pond. In the Flashpoint Timeline, the history of the DC Universe was rewritten. Unlike the heroic Aquaman we know, Arthur Curry returned to Atlantis at a younger age, never developing a sense of compassion and kindness. Revealed late last year as part of the 12-Days of Downloads Event, the next release from NECA in their Gargoyles line is the Steel Clan Robot. The 8-inch tall figure comes with alternative hands, gauntlet blasters, and thruster FX accessories. The tail is bendable, and the wings can be displayed as open or closed. The figure has a May 2023 release date. As with all the Gargoyles releases, the licensing deal only allows the figures to be sold within the US. The next release in NECA's Universal Monsters 7-inch action figure line is the colour version of the Bride of Frankenstein, based on the 1935 movie of the same name and as portrayed by Elsa Lanchester. The figure features three heads - one neutral, one screaming, and a mummified version. There are also alternative hands and bandage pieces that allow you to display the Bride in her Mummified state which is sculpted under the removable gown. The figure has a May/June 2023 release date, and fans can also look forward to a black-and-white version at some point in the future also. The debut of Universal’s 1935 film The Bride of Frankenstein promised audiences something “more fearful than the monster himself”!
