The last couple of figures from Hasbro's Marvel Legends Avengers 60th Anniversary series will be retailer exclusives in the US. The first of these, Black Widow, is now live on the Target website and features a classic Black Widow with three different head options. She will also come with three pairs of hands, dual pistols - one with a silencer, two wrist stinger accessories with effect parts, and finally a pair of further effects for the guns. The Avengers 60th Anniversary Black Widow is a July release. Outside of the US the figure is a Fan Channel exclusive, sold at stockists including Hasbro Pulse. The Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts Indiana Jones figure previewed a few weeks ago has now opened for pre-order at stockists with an October 2023 release date. This Raiders of the Lost Ark Indy will feature alternative parts including what looks like three head/face options, as well as the ability to have him with or without his jacket, and with a removable hat. DC's Blue Beetle movie is due for release in August, and ahead of the movie's arrival, McFarane are getting ready with the figure releases from the movie. The first figure to be previewed is Blue Beetle himself - complete with wings. The usual timeframe from the preview image is to see pre-orders within the month and a release a month later, putting Blue Beetle tentatively as a July/August release. After dedicating the entire first wave of their Indiana Jones Adventure Series figures to Raiders of the Lost Ark, Hasbro have begun a wider focus on the first three Indiana Jones movies via their exclusive release route and in an apparent deal with Target stores in the US. Professor Indiana Jones from The Last Crusade is an early Summer 2023 release and sold via Target in the states, while the figure is available via Fan Channel retailers - including Hasbro Pulse - in the UK and other territories. Professor Jones arrives in the same format, plastic-free, window-less packaging as the main line releases and even references the other releases on a checklist on the side spine. While the Adventure Series is an extremely new line for Hasbro, Professor Indiana Jones represents the first major re-use of a figure with this Last Crusade version taking much of the body sculpt and the head from the ‘Club Obi-Wan’ Indiana Jones from Temple of Doom. Indy comes in a three-piece grey suit with the soft rubber waistcoat and jacket the only new pieces. The suit is cast in the base colour with paint apps added for the buttons. There is a neatly striped shirt beneath the waistcoat and a red bow tie - all consistent with Indy’s garb in the University scenes at the start of The Last Crusade. While the head is the same as the Club Obi-Wan Indy, the photo-real print does give it a slightly different look with a softer finish overall. It is a pity that a removable or hatted sculpt could not have been added to this release considering Indy still wears his hat with his suit in his meetings with Walter Donovan and into his arrival in Venice. The figure is entirely pinless with the joints sculpted in keeping with the flow of the outfit. There are 19 points of articulation in total including some butterfly shoulders under the jacket and a dual joint to the neck. This allows plenty of posing options with or without the included accessories. The said accessories include Henry Jones Sr. Grail Diary all wrapped up with stamps clearly visible on the package. You then get Richard’s Shield, the 2nd Grail marker, which is very detailed with the sculpted inscription and Knights Templar icon on two panels. The inside includes a handle for Indy to hold and is painted to look like aged wood. The final accessory is also from the Venice Catacombs and is the bone torch that Indy improvises as they enter from the Library. This is made up of a bone with painted brown rags at the top that then transitions into orange translucent flame. The torch looks great, something that can’t always be said for effect pieces, and fits in either hand. Professor Indiana Jones is one of two distinctive looks for Indy from The Last Crusade and therefore its inclusion as an Exclusive is questionable. I’d have liked to have seen a removable hat or alternative hatted head, but otherwise, the choice of additional parts is great with the Knights Templar Shield being the highlight. It is a slightly odd choice to lead off the Last Crusade releases (along with Kazim and Walter Donovan) but we do know that more Last Crusade releases are in development, so this is one to pick up now ready for the arrival of Henry Jones Sr, the Grail Knight, and Elsa Schneider. It has been announced that McFarlane Toys have agreed on a licensing deal with Blizzard Entertainment and will begin developing action figure product from Diablo and The World of Warcraft. We should see the first figures in the Autumn to coincide with the release of the Diablo IV video game. NECA have released a ful set of promo images for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shredder Clones 3-Pack from the original Mirage Comics that was listed a week or so ago at Bestbuy. They have confirmed this is another BestBuy US exclusive. The set is listed as an August 2023 release on the BestBuy listing, with NECA also confirming the set should also show up on BestBuy shelves in October. McFarlane have shared official preview images of two of the DC Multiverse The Dark Knight Trilogy Gold Label figures that leaked a few days ago via eBay listing. The images are of the two Joker variants - the Bank Robber Joker and the 'Sonar Vision' Joker. The social media posts that accompany the images just state these are 'Coming Soon' but do not confirm which retailer will carry these as an exclusive as is the usual format for the Gold Label figures. Regardless of US exclusivity, the figures should also make their way to the UK via the Bandai UK distribution channel. Three new McFarlane DC Multiverse Gold Label figures from The Dark Knight Trilogy have been listed and sold on eBay by a Hong Kong-based seller. The figures include a variant of Bane in what look to be a soft goods tailored coat. There are also two Joker variants - a 'Sonar Vision' version, and a Bank Robber Joker which will also come with a Heath Ledger Joker head. The figures are likely destined for a US retailer as exclusives, and should also make their way to the UK via the Bandai UK distribution channel. Marvel.com has just revealed the first Marvel Legends figures from the November 2023 MCU release of The Marvels. The movie figures will be made up of the three main characters Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau. Captain Marvel will come with alernative hands and a pair of energy effect pieces, Monica with a pair of alternative hands, and Ms. Marvel with alternative hands and a Flerken. They will be joined in the wider wave by comic book figures of Commander Steve Rogers, 'Heroes Return' Iron-Man, Marvel Boy, and Karnak. The Build-a-Figure will be an Amadeus Cho 'Totally Awesome' Hulk. All four of the comic book figures - and the Hulk - BAF feature accessories with a Shield for Commander Rogers, alternative hands for Iron-Man, Karnak, and Hulk, and a pair of blasters for Marvel Boy. Iron-Man does not contain any BAF parts. The wave will go up for pre-order as of the 7th of June 2023. The promo details indicate a Summer 2023 release - so the figures will be here well in advance of the movie, which makes sense considering it was pushed back from the original July 2023 release date.
