Amazon have revealed a re-release of the Star Wars Black Series Emperor Palpatine and Throne from the Return of the Jedi. The pack will include updated packaging from its original 2019 release. It comes with three head options for Palpatine, his walking stick, and alternative hands with Force Lightning effects. Amazon US has this listed with a May 2025 release date and a $44.99 price tag. McFarlane have announced a new agreement with Marvel to team up to create a new Marvel Comic Book Art Line where Marvel comic book artwork is brought to life in posed statues. The full press release is included at the end of our article. The line will include both 1:6 and 1:10 scale items with the 1:6 line dedicated to the Todd McFarlane comic book covers starting with releases for Spider-Man and Captain America. These first two releases were shown via an article at Comicbook.com article with Spider-Man from the Amazing Spider-Man 301 cover, and Captain America from Amazing Spider-Man 323. Pre-orders for the new set of S.H. Figuarts Star Wars figures will open on the 3rd of June. This updated set features R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, and an Imperial Stormtrooper. All of these have been released previously, but these 2024 revisits included updated decor and tweaks. This includes an update on Threepio to a plating finish rather than Vac-Metal. McFarlane nex set of DC Direct figures, is a Digital wave, or as they are now calling them Phygital releases. This means they are physical figures, but with a digital build a figure of Animal Man if you buy all three. The new figures are The Atom from DC: The Silver Age, Superman from Our Worlds at War, and Green Arrow from Longbow Hunter. The wave opens for pre-order as of the 23rd of May 2024 with the figures shipping in late July 2024. Superman will come with an Eagle as well as alternative hands. The Atom features a smaller mini-Atom figure as well as alternative hands for the main figure. Green Arrow comes with his bow, an arrow, and a larger cluster of arrows. Hasbro has announced three more re-releases from the Star Wars Black Series, this time themed around the crew of Rebels. We will be getting a re-run of the figures of Sabine Wren and Hera Syndulla from Rebels and they will be joined by the Clone Wars Ahsoka Tano. This trio of re-releases will arrive in October and are available at Hasbro stockists, with UK retailers also offering these through the imported route. These are re-runs of the original releases and come in their original Galaxy Collection packaging.
