What figures might we get for Spider-Man: Brand New Day based on the brand new Trailer?

The first trailer is here for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and as always us action figure collectors are already considering which figures we might see from Hasbro in particular to coincide with the movie's release in July 2026.

Of course, any Spider-Man wave would have to include Spidey, with the new suit and potentially an unmasked Peter Parker for the marginally older Tom Holland likeness from the one we saw last for No Way Home. It also seems feasible that both Frank Castle's Punisher and Doctor Bruce Banner could easily be included, particularly as both have existing base figures that could be partially repurposed.

In terms of the foes we see Spider-Man facing, then a Deluxe release of Mac Gargan's Scorpion would be in keeping with the bad guys we saw for No Way Home. Other single releases might also include a Hand Ninja pack, potentially with multiple heads/hands. And we could also see a Tarantula and/or Boomerang, although I suspect these will only feature in an early montage (a la Fantastic Four: First Step) to establish Spider-Man's role in protecting New York.

At this point, it is likely too early to see a Sadie Sink figure, and we are yet to see Tombstone who we know is cast for the movie.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
