At 7am PST - that's 2pm UK time - on the 24th of March Walmart in the US will open up this year's Collector Con. The online event will feature a number of Walmart US exclusives, and these include the first four G.I. Joe Classified Series 6-inch figures on the classic card-back.
The Retro Carded line for G.I. Joe kicks off with figures of The Baroness, Lady Jaye, Destro, and Gung-Ho. Each of these are based on their mainline release with adjusted paint decor and more retro-inspired accessories. They are presented on retro 1980's inspired blister cards including those character cards we all used to cut out and keep. For some reason, only Baroness and Lady Jaye have a full set of images at this stage.
For UK collectors these are also live via the Fan Channel route and at all G.I. Joe Classified stockists. The UK retailers are quoting a September 2022 release date.
