Toy Fair 2018 : NECA Series 13 Aliens

It had been confirmed ahead of Toy Fair 2018 that the 13th series of NECA's Alien series would be Kenner inspired. We had also seen teaser images of the Xeno's in development.

The final line up was confirmed and shown at Toy Fair with a Snake Xenomorph, Scorpion Xenomorph and a kenner inspired Apone. They will all come in Kenner inspired clamshell packaging and the figures themselves are painted in line with the Kenner line of the 1990's. They are due to ship in October 2018 which is pretty much a year's gap between Series 12 and this next wave.

Series 13 in #NECA’s bestselling #Alien Movie UKs line is dedicated to the classic Kenner Expanded Universe Alien Movie UKs of the early 1990s! Taking inspiration from those designs, our team has transformed these Kenner classics into modern versions with all of today’s detail and articulation.

It includes the long-awaited debut of Space Marine Sgt. Apone as well as the frequently requested Snake Alien Movie UK and Scorpion Alien Movie UK.

Space Marine Sgt. Apone stands approximately 7” tall and features an extraordinary bio-mechanical right arm and heavy-duty grenades on his back. The figure is highly articulated and comes with a rifle accessory. Snake Alien Movie UK feature a 12" long bendable tail and ball-jointed fingers for attacking its unlucky prey. Scorpion Alien Movie UK has over 30 points of articulation. Both highly detailed figures measure over 9” tall. The clamshell packaging is an homage to the classic Kenner art, featuring custom illustrations and a color palette reminiscent of the toy shelves of the early '90s.
