Following on from their 5.5" retro styled Mortal Kombat figures, Funko have announced two new licences in the line.
The first is Thundercats, a classic licence that will translate well to the bulky 80's style. Lion-O and Mumm-Ra were present as full painted prototypes. We then had unpainted samples of further figures in the line including Tygra, Cheetara and Panthro. And villains Slithe and Jackalman.
The second is quite innovative and is titled Horror. It essentially takes icons of Horror and reimagines them as 1980's style action figures. The first figures will include Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason, Pin Head and Leatherface.
There will then be a line called Savage Lands which is essentially Conan the Barbarian.
