Toy Fair 2017 : DC Collectibles

DC Collectables Premium Film Figures
One sad piece of information from Toy Fair was around the DC Collectables 6.75" range of premium DC movie figures. This range debuted at Toy Fair 2016 with plans for figures from Batman vs Superman, Suicide Squad and Man of Steel.
The Man of Steel figures were soon canned, and now it has been confirmed that the range is not proceeding any further.
We have had the Superman and Armoured Batman releases, but DC Collectables have confirmed these are the only figures that we will see from the range. DCC quoted a number of the other manufacturers working in this premium 6" scale. One chink of light is the mention that we may see some of these sculpts in other lines. That could still mean we see a reduced articulated version in the 6.75" line for the £20 price point.

Batman (Animated Series) Batcave with exclusive Aldred
DC Collectibles have already treated us to a Batmobile and a Batwing in the 6" Animated Series range. They have now announced this 6" scale Batcave playset for release in October 2017.
Confirmed via IGN, the set is going to measure 15 inches across, 17 inches deep and 21 inches high and has LED light up features in the Bat Computer. Also included is an exclusive 6" scale animated Alfred who of course come with a serving tray, tea pot and a duster. The Batcave doesn't seem to be on display at Toy Fair 2017 as its quoted in the article as being revealed at San Diego 2017.
The US RRP is $175 which works out to £140 in the UK.

“The Batcave Vignette is a great example of how we’re constantly looking for new ways to capture the most iconic and authentic moments from the DC Universe and reimagine them in three-dimensional form,” stated DC Collectibles Executive Director, Creative, Jim Fletcher.
“Now Batman: The Animated Series action figure collectors have an entirely new way to display and enhance their collections.”
