Following on from Spider-Man, Iron-Man and Captain America, the next Marvel release in Tamashii Nations Manga Realization line will be this impressive War-Machine figure.
The Realization line re-imagines our heroes but in a Feudal Japan setting. We therefore see War-Machine in Samurai inspired armour with contemporary weapons like that enormous over the shoulder cannon. The figure uses the base body of the Realization Iron-Man but has a new chest section, new paint job and the new weaponry.
While the other Marvel releases to date, and the Star Wars releases before them, I have always been able to recognise whom Tamashii are re-realizing... with this one I struggled with an immediate recognition. While he does look cool, he doesn't instantly scream War-Machine.
War-Machine looks like he will be a Bandai Webstore exclusive and will be released in March 2018 with pre-orders open now
