Storm Collectibles Ax Battler and Red Dragon, Golden Axe

Storm Collectibles have released the details and images for their Golden Axe Ax Battler and Dragon figure set - and it almost immediately sold out!

The set is due for release in Q1 2020 and includes 2 head sculpts for the Ax Battler as well as alternative hands and his sword. He comes with a fully articulated Red Dragon to ride and a fireball accessory. The Skeleton shown in the promo images does not look to be included.

The pre-orders from Storm have already sold out at the US price tag of $120. It is not sure if more stocks will be made available via Storm or via Worldwide specialist. It seems this is a highly sought after piece - so if further pre-orders do open I would not hesitate if you want this piece in your collection.

Golden Axe is one of the most classic and iconic side-scrolling arcade beat 'em up game released in 1989 by Sega. This year, we are celebrating the 30th Anniversary of this legendary game of the industry. The game places the player in control of one of three warriors each bent on revenge against the vile dictator Death Adder. One of them is a male barbarian, Ax Battler, wielding a two handed broadsword looking for revenge for the murder of his mother. The force of Ax’s magic is able to cast Earth spells. The players are able to ride on the Red Dragon and fire at the enemies.

Features:

2 x Interchangeable Ax Battler’s Head Sculpts

4 x Interchangeable Pair of Hands

1 x Ax Battler’s Sword

The Red Dragon (Fully Articulated)

Fireball Effect
