Star Wars Black Series fans were left a little wanting after the Hasbro presentation with only minimal news to share about the line. Other than the new Hyper Real Darth Vader, news was as follows...
Star Wars Celebration Exclusive of Obi-Wan Kenobi on an Episode 1 card. This of course means this is a new younger Obi-Wan than what has been released / announced to date.
To go with this is a 2nd Exclusive of Darth Maul on the same Episode 1 card. This is a repack and potentially why we haven't seen Darth Maul carded in the Archive collection yet as originally mentioned.
The line will be given a packaging refresh this year, most likely in line with Episode 9.
We will also see the return of the Fans Choice figure, with the decision this year being for an Empire Strikes Back figure, no doubt for the 40th Anniversary of that movie.
