Star Wars Black Series releases of Peli Motto's Droids and the Mandalorian Privateer

Hasbro has fully unveiled two new Star Wars Black Series releases, sets previously announced as in the 'Pipeline'. Both are taken from the Mandalorian and both are exclusives.

The first is a Droid pack containing R5-D4, BD-72 and a pair of Pit Droids as seen in Peli Motto's workshop. R5-D4 has of course been recently released as a single figure, but in this set he is now provided with his Jet Thrusters. This is a Target US exclusive, so Fan Channel elsewhere. It is a Summer 2024 release. This Droid pack remains in the angled side packaging.

Also going to Target in the US is the Mandalorian Privateer, the male version of the Nite Owl Mandalorian. He comes with blaster and jedtpack and is also a Summer 2024 release. The Privateer will use the new boxed packaging for the Galaxy collection.

Neither set has a pre-order date and for UK collectors, they will likely go up at Fan Channel retailers and Hasbro Pulse once Target lists them on their website in the US.

About Me : As a child of the '70s and '80s I grew up in a golden age for action figures and in my youth bought and sold myself through collections of Star Wars, G.I. Joe (Action Force), and M.A.S.K. while also dabbling in He-Man, Transformers and Ghostbusters. Roll forward and I am now reliving that Youth with the action figures of today and am a collector and fan of the larger 6-8 inch figures from my favourite movie and TV licenses - including the ones mentioned above, but also the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Doctor Who, and the Aliens. I launched The Mephitsu Archives in 2015 with a view of creating a UK-focused site or these figures where fans can pick up the latest action figure news, read reviews and get information on where to buy their figures and what is currently on store shelves. I hope I am delivering that to you guys...
